What an excellent find on our road trip! The entrance for the building is marked, but after that it can be confusing. It is the blue building on the right hand side.Their tasting room is well furnished and have a lot of fun activities available. It is open air but can be shuttered for the cold season. We were there in August and it was very comfortable inside.They had 9 ciders on tap, of which we sampled via flights. The Pumpkin, Mango Ginger, and the Peanut Butter made our list for must tastes. The Caramel Apple, Wild Berry, and the Pineapple were also very tasty.Check them out if your in the area, or grab them at your local store when available.

Great place to stop and check out when you are in the area. Not a big cider person but these are pretty good. Amy was great at helping us out. They also have a whiskey room where you can taste their brand. Big bar area with games (board, pool table, shuffle board). We saw corn hole boards but they didn’t have them out. They told us that they do bands several times but none when we were there. Several TVs, couches, tables with board games built into them. They serve several food that were good. Stop in when your close by renting a cabin in the mountains.

We loved the Swilled Dog! We stopped here during our travels and spent the night in our travel trailer as part of the Harvest Hosts network. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The not only took care of us and served us a full flight of their delicious ciders, but they made sure our dog had a clean fresh bowl of water. Really nice sized crowd on a Saturday evening and a really welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in the vicinity I’d highly recommend stopping in to see what they do. It was great.

Came from Toronto, Canada to visit West Virginia and happened to find out about this cidery by chance, and we’re so glad we did! The cidery itself is spacious and located in a beautiful area with mountain scenery. The Mango Ginger cider was amazing and the pepperoni roll was a great snack. Loved playing cornhole outside, sipping cider and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The staff were super friendly as well! If you are in the area, check it out!

Such an amazing hidden gem! Like another review has mentioned, its the back side of the blue building on the right. My wife and I made a point to tie this distillery in with a Seneca Rocks trip today, and we're really glad we did. We did an 8-flight of their 4 flagships and 4 exclusives plus food. There wasn't a single cider out of the 8 that we didn't absolutely love. Plus they were reasonably priced! The bourbon tasting was also top notch! And the girls working there today were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend making the trip here; you won't be disappointed! We'll make the trip back down again soon!

Loved Swilled Dog!! Beautiful setting. Excellent staff and the place is very very nice! Lots to do while you enjoy the cider and the top notch whiskey! The folks who work here are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and helpful! Will definitely come back here!

I've bought several different flavors of this cider. I especially like the Apple Pie. Last year I bought the "Walk the Dog" it was ok. So the store had this selection on the shelf this past weekend and no other choice. So I bought a six pack, and this particular batch tastes terrible. I was so disappointed. We live out in the country and 30 minutes to town. So, not convenient to go get something else.Skilled Dog, mind your batches and quality control. Looking forward to the Apple Pie flavor this Fall

We had 3 families( Pa, Oh and VA) staying for the weekend at a rental cabin 1/2 mile up the road, stumbled across Swiiled Dog Cider by accident and was completely blown away. The exterior of the building completely camouflages the incredible decor and atmosphere of the interior.Amy was our hostess, she was incredibly helpful, patient, informative and friendly!We all had an excellent experience here, the ciders are awesome! I personally loved the Pear, wild berry and Apple Pie.Thank you so much for opening your business to the public, very much appreciated!

My father lives down the road from this place and bought me a bottle of their whiskey for a Christmas present. I was skeptical at first because I had never heard of them before and I have a real particular taste for bourbon/whiskey. I prefer a strong, wood barrel finish like that of the double oaked Woodford Reserve. I have a collection of whiskeys and bourbons that I keep and this got thrown into the collection and I really didn't think much of it. So the NFL playoffs started and I decided I wanted a stiff drink to watch the games as I do not drink much but maybe on occasion. I decided to crack open the swilled Dog whiskey my dad had got me. I didn't buy it, why not? Wow, wow, and wow again. This has one of the nicest finishes I've had. Good wood barrel flavor with a slight sweetness. I'm going to ask my dad for another bottle for the collection, an keep this one for sipping. This really is good stuff. If you enjoy a good whiskey, then give the swilled Dog a go.
