I needed a substrate better than the coconut husk fiber I was already using for my toads terrarium. As soon as I entered the store and asked for someone who knew about toads, I was greeted with a plethora of information and answers I didn't realize I needed.I got the substrate to solve my issues and even crickets and mealworms for not just my toads but my spider too!!

This Petco store had a decent selection of pet foods, beds, leashes and collars, bowls, crates, toys, hygiene products, and other supplies. It also offered some small animals for sale, services such as grooming, etcetera.During my visit, I thought that the prices for products were higher than what other stores charge, but with my membership, the prices ended up being similar. I selected cat litter and several cat treats. I did not have to wait in line at the checkout. The cashier accurately rang up my purchase and thanked me, but she did not put the products inside a bag.

I Waited 2 weeks so happy to get my dog’s haircut and nails done she really needed it, I went in and left her to the Groomer and shopped around. While I shopped around her Groomer comes to me and says she cannot cut her hair because my dog was carrying on too much, I didn’t end up paying but she came home with one leg cut and nothing else. They are professionals right? She’s a puppy, and a small dog at that too, Can’t they handle that?

Poor customer service, lack of effort or even wanting to help. Also maybe change your bag policy, ask if you want to donate 10 cents a bag, instead of charging the customer.

Once again, I find myself thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by Petco. Recently, my son and I visited their store to gather supplies for his new axolotl, and the experience reaffirmed why we continue to choose Petco for our pet needs.From the moment we entered the store, the staff greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm. Their genuine friendliness and eagerness to assist us never fail to make our visits enjoyable. However, what truly left a lasting impression on me during this particular visit was the exemplary dedication demonstrated by one of the staff members.As we were checking out, I couldn't help but notice that the staff member who had initially assisted us was wrapping up her shift. Despite her impending departure, she remained steadfast in her commitment to ensuring our needs were met. Rather than rushing through the process, she took the time to go above and beyond, providing us with thorough assistance and guidance.Her selflessness and dedication were truly commendable, especially considering that she could have easily prioritized her own time and convenience. I love the customer service they give and offer. Their store is kept neat and clean. They offer a lot of education on animals/reptiles and if you're interested in getting any they help and offer with animals/reptiles with tips, tricks, what's best and not. This is my second beardie and they were open to helping and offering tips/education/what's needed etc. They do a great job helping their customers. Their rewards system is great you receive a lot of sales and rewards. It's a great place to shop from if you have any pets 😊

We LOVE Audra and Wendy!!! Can't stress it enough that there should be more folks like them in retail and sales in the United States! Wendy was willing to talk with us regarding our concerns and offerred a multidue of options to generate the best outcome for our pup. She even sat with her through her grooming to help ease her nerves and make it easier for Audra to provide care for our pup. This store is amazing and the reason that we drive 40 minutes each way to shop with them!

I give 3 stars because I shop here all the time and the staff is really nice. Only thing is, is that I have bought two animals from there that both have died. I have done everything I can for the animals, including going beyond what they could possibly need besides a vet because i cant afford it. But they both have randomly just died. I just got a bearded dragon a week ago. Was doing great and thriving, but as soon as I woke up this morning and went to check on my animals and do what i had to do, I noticed he wasn’t moving. I went to pick him up and he was stiff as a board. Its only this pet place I have had any problems like that with. Whats going on Petco!

I bought a bearded dragon from pet supplies+ and they didn’t give my boyfriend and I any information about taking care of him, unfortunately Ruby developed MBD (a fairly common bone disease from lack of calcium). I called petco asking what I should do to help him and Zach gave us the information we needed in order to care for him, now Ruby is thriving. Zach practically saved his life, we later learned that if you buy an animal from petco they cover costs within the first 30 day if they are sick and I think that is something that makes petco above pet supplies+. We started to buy crickets for our bearded dragon from petco and unfortunately over half of them died in the first few days so we took them back to see what was wrong with the crickets and if they could help us in any way. A couple of store employees were super helpful and gave us a bunch of crickets to replace the ones that have died. I will now be choosing for any of my animals food and furniture. Super friendly employees and awesome service. Appreciate it, you guys rock! P.s THANK YOU ZACH!

I learned that the information I received from an employee prior to my most recent visit was actually incorrect. My decision to purchase a bird and sign up for vitalcare was made, due to the discount the previous employee I spoke with stated would be applied. Even though that information was inaccurate, the two other employees that assisted, made the effort to make things right, which was very much appreciated!

I’ve been here at least 3 times in the last 3 months and there’s never anyone to help you. I wanted to get a few fish so I go back to the fish tanks to look, and never is there anyone wanting to help. I’d suggest hiring a few more people or having the fish available for people to help themselves.

Love petco. Most generally they have what i need. Havent been there in a while, so when i visited yesterday and was charged for a bag to hold my purchase, i had no words. Rolled my eyes and shook my head. Reallyy? Is it going to be like the self checkouts and all stores will be charging ? Omg.

I enjoy going to Petco up at the Highlands! Grooming is always a pleasure and my dog Zeek enjoys visiting as well - he loves everyone he meets and has a great time there! Every time I have been there the staff are always helpful if I need assistance and I don't feel like I am bothering anyone when asking. And the store is always clean and shelves are stocked.~Amber

Really good staff. I have gotten fish from them several time and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. I am handicapped so the staff willingly carried my stuff to the register and out to my car. The only thing I might say is a set back is the fact that they don’t have any motorized wheelchairs. This makes it difficult to shop if you are disabled

I went in and payed $30 for 150 CRICKETS and left with 50-70. So I called to see if I could get the rest and was told they would replace them. I go in today and the manager said he was only giving me 50. I am disappointed at the fact that if I pay $30 I think I deserve all of them. Don’t you think?

In and out with our girl's nails trimmed and buffed. A bit expensive, but worth it for convenience and easy accessibility. Groomers were friendly, professional, and good with our nervous senior dog.

Amazing pet store I got my first hamster here back in may. She is the cutest friendliest most social hamster I’ve ever seen. My friends got theirs from pet supplies and they are very scared of everything. Employees are very helpful too.
