Love this store. The staff are so very attentive and knowledgeable. The prices are extremely competitive and often better than the competition. Another positive is the wide selection of products. They always have ample selection of like products to choose from. We really love shopping here.

Had a large amount of remodeling needs. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Helped me locate and choose the best products for my needs and never once was told " it's not my area". Every time I asked for help, I was taken to the product and introduced to a staff member who could provide the best expertise. Placed order on the floor and picked up at the rear of the store. They loaded my purchase as I requested, and I was out quickly. It's a bit of a drive, and I drive past a similar store that provides no help at all. Very satisfied

Had to buy a generator today because of a power outage, heavy ice. Guy who helped me was very nice and answered all my questions. Two of them loaded the 200# plus box in my truck. Everyone was very nice considering not many probably made it to work because of road conditions.July 12, 2022As always, friendly, knowledgeable staff and a vast variety of products for all your home and garden needs.January 16, 2023Very friendly and helpful lumber yard associates.Took me directly to what I was looking for and loaded it in my truck.

Let me start this review by saying when we first found Menards we thought it was a fantastic store and recommended it to many friends. Imagine how disappointed we were to later find out and have to tell all those same friends the customer service is absolutely terrible and we will never spend any money in that store again or recommend it.We spent quite a bit of money as we built a garage and decided to buy the garage doors, 3 total as well as two man doors there. We also bought many other items but the issue was with this purchase. We picked these doors up and as you can imagine there were many parts associated with them. We thought we had all of them and took them home to store as due to some delays with our project we could not install them at that time. Well fast forward to when we started installation we realized we had a vertical track and mounting bracket missing. We reached out and got in contact with Menards management as well as provided many pictures. After no confirmed date for several weeks I reached back out on the app and was provided a number to go directly to Ideal doors (the manufacturer) which I did and they were very helpful. Again pictures were provided as well as the order number and all requested details. We were told it was in, only after we called, and my husband went to pick it up. Upon arrival it was not the correct piece it was only a portion of what we were missing. Apparently we required the “vertical track assembly” and only the vertical track was provided. I trusted that the “professionals” would see the pictures and provide the correct thing especially considering when we picked up the doors these were not two separate pieces, the pieces were pre assembled. Again it was another headache to get the corrected piece on order and another 5 weeks. When I called and spoke to the store with the GENERAL MANAGER, who was incredibly rude, it was implied that as the customer it was my fault we didn’t check our order was complete when we left. What a joke! The only thing I’m at fault for was ever trusting that store and the so called “professionals”. Refusal to ship to our home while we were risking our new radiant heat getting frozen and ruined by freezing temperatures and three separate 4 hour round trips to the store for their mistake is another sign of poor customer service. No attempts were made to provide any compensation.Save yourself countless headaches, multiple trips to a terrible store, several months delay on your project, and talking with individuals that don’t value customers time or business!Addition to review 1/5 based on response:Luci- I have submitted multiple emails to the Menards customer service team with very poor responses that also seem like the customer service team there does not care and does not value customers or their business!To others that may be reading, communicating with the customer service link provided seems to be worthless. It simply continues to highlight the poor customer service of this company.

Just came home from Menards at the Highlands in Triadelphia, WV. I do admit that thier prices are lower than Lowes and all of their staff are very knowledgeable and know which isle and bay every product is at but I shop on their website and take screen shots of what I know I'm going to buy before I get there (I live 3 miles from the store) and also take note of how are in stock. I got to the store this morning and (3) of the products I was gonna buy wasn't in stock.They really need to keep up with their current stock on their website. This has happened numerous times now. I still shop here and always will. I used to tell friends/family Menards can't be compared to Lowes and Walmart. I've changed my mind about that now. And I have told them about the discrepancy before but it continues.Fabulous store and, products and staff.In stock store products and in stock website products need to be the same.

Absolutely love this place! I live in PA and we have no Menards. I was driving 2 hours to Warren Ohio to shop at the store. Best way I can describe it is that Lowe's Home Depot and Walmart had a baby. I discovered this store an hour and 15 minutes from my house. They have such a good selection of everything. I think they're lighting far surpasses Lowe's and Home Depot. In addition regularly offer 11% rebates. This store opened October 2020. If you never been I highly recommend a visit you will get hooked! It's up on the hill where Cabela's is.

Wish we had a Menards closer to us! They have anything and everything you would need. They have great prices compared to other stores, great deals. We love to stop and just walk around, never leave empty handed.

This place has it all. Any kind of building supplies, seasonal items, toys, pet food. They even have a section of food items. Store is always neat and clean. Workers are very pleasant and very helpful. We couldn't find the insulation and when I went to the front for assistance the check out person, actually told the others that were checking out that she was going to show us where it was located. It was outside in pickup. Prices are similar to the others around the Washington area, but you get an 11 percentage rebate when you send in your slip. Wished there was one in the Washington area!

This is "The Home Improvement Center" where you find anything imaginable and other things you wouldn't believe ever existed. From simple to sophisticated items and projects, anything and all you need is available at Menards onsite and online. No other home improvement center can be compared to Menards.

Menards is a regional home-improvement store that sells appliances, cabinets, countertops, light fixtures, electrical and plumbing supplies, tools, lumber, paints, flooring, blinds, etcetera. The store even sells some other categories of products such as pet supplies, hygiene products, and groceries.I visited this store to view cabinets in person before I special-ordered them through the website. I also purchased a can of primer and several cat treats. I interacted with a few employees, and they spoke politely and helped me to find products in the aisles. The cashier thanked me for my purchase. I like that Menards sells brands of products that I cannot find at other big-box retailers.

Horrible experience with Menard’s staff with Larson door we picked up as an on-line order, it was defective, no cutout for hardware for handle, talked with department manager and he said to bring it back in tomorrow would be good and that he was working to ask for him, the girl at the return counter insisted he was not working when we arrived, until someone else spoke up and said he was in. She was giving us a hard time about returning we had receipt and she was searching thru the entire contents of box instead of trying to see if the department manager was in like he said he was going to be. He had been very helpful on phone the day before and was going to help us order another door, until the manager stepped in and said we had to cut a rectangle in the storm door to insert hardware and proceeded to join that girl going thru box and then looking on line for instructions. Manager reprimanding department manager stating that he should have contacted Larson to order another door instead of having customer return, what a three ring circus until my husband and I finally walked without getting our storm door. When we got home found that husband had inadvertently packed a brand new closer that was ours with our return, I had called to have them put that aside so that we could pick it up later, but Menards claimed to not have it! I’m not sure why they wouldn’t have noticed , although it was in cardboard box the way they were going thru things should have notice it was a totally different color and didn’t belong with return,,,, so unprofessional, with no concern of customer throughout the whole ordeal.

Menards doesn't value a customer such as Home Depot. I say this because if you go to Menards and try and get a product at the Home Depot price they will find a way not to match it. Now go to Home Depot with a Menards price and they will match or beat that price. I have spent thousands at each and HD is a better store.

If you prefer your shopping experience to be paired with little to no customer service this is the spot for you! Also, have you always wondered what it is like stocking shelves? Buy lumber at menards then try to return it and you’ll know what it’s like to stock shelves. Let me explain the process: go to customer service desk tell them you need to return an item from the back yard. They will give you a carbon copy sheet of what you’re returning, you then drive to the back (don’t forget to go to the delivery gate) if you go to the incorrect gate they will not open it, you’ll have to go to the correct one. It takes an act of Congress to open the incorrect gate. Once you’re in you need to return your items to their places in a neat and oddly fashion(don’t expect help here lumber guys are strictly employed to stand by and watch you). Once this is done it’s time to return to the front of the store to get your money back. Be aware if you spent one cent with menards rebates you will get your entire return in store credit. Your money is never returned. Long story short if you’re looking for cheap stuff cheap with a side of terrible service then come “save big money at menards”!

All I can say is Menards is the best place to shop! I am a contractor and their prices are way lower than home depot. I drive an hour away just to shop here! Can't wait till they build one in Washington, PA, I'm told its coming soon. Thank you Menards!!

The greatest home improvement center you'll ever experience. We were excited to visit and it lived up to our expectations. We saved so much money and got such amazing products we're happy to have one within an hour's drive.

First time at this one. I went to another one not too long ago. Both set up exactly the same. Very clean and open. Prices are very good here. And they are able to order stuff if you need it. There is a food sections and a pet section as well! There is pool stuff too which is seasonal. Camping stuff. A nice selection of patio and fire pits. There is a section upstairs too that has off season stuff like toys and Christmas. And then there is another room full of appliances. The only thing about the upstairs area is I'm not sure if we were really suppose to be up there??? It was a little confusing. None of the patio sets or appliances upstairs were priced. So it was hard to tell what you were looking at. There was other furniture upstairs too like couches and recliners. They have a lot there to look at.

WHAT A STORE!!!! Spent 2.5 hours in awwwww with my bf! We have never seen such an amazing store with so many helpful items at great prices! It was a 45 min beautiful ride there and back but we'll worth it. We definitely will be going back!! Great place and Staff!!

Customer service has definitely declined. You call ahead to ensure a timely transition from store to customer and get u or they can do it when u get here. May I'm mot understanding how to move 68 bundles of shingles by hand by calling ahead asking for it to be ready for me.

Went there to get topsoil, grass seed, and some hardware. I found the hardware I needed on my own. I next passed through the outdoor furniture section and saw a chair my wife wanted. I asked an employee there for help and he jumped on getting me the chair I wanted from upstairs. While he was getting me the chair, I asked an employee in the garden center for help, and he dropped what he was doing to help guide me to what I needed. He was an expert on grass and trees and gave me the advice I needed. I went back to the outdoor furniture section to meet the other employee, and he had my chair on a cart waiting for me. He even carted it out, walked it through the cashier lane, and helped load it in my truck. It was a very pleasant purchasing experience. Highly recommended!!!

I describe menards as the wall mart of home improvement stores. They have good prices. Their selection is remarkable. They have multiple options for every product you could want. They stock high-quality lumber. They also stock longer lengths of wood like 20 feet long and some longer and longer length of plywood and drywall. The lighting gallery is huge. They also stock a wide variety of home goods and appliances.

I needed a yoga mat, to start physical therapy today. I was with a friend who stopped in for a 25' tape measure. I went in just to look around. WOW I was amazed, what a store. Got a mat at a great price and seen a lot of future purchases. Helpful and friendly staff. I'll be back for sure.

do your homework. compare prices with lowes. you will find the rebate is a joke use the gutter section for an example. i took on building a house myself this year and have spent ALOT of money with menards. electrical and plumbing went smooth the products they offer for those are acceptable. the insulation they offer is sub par. it is not made well and adds time to installation. install a brand lowes carries and you will notice the difference. all the siding i purchased from menards must have been left overs from multiple yards around the country as we all know menards owns all of thier inventory. It was all discolored and smashed in the boxes from fork trucks running it over. thankfully menards has one good manager named mike and he made it right. When it came time to purchase shutters the sizes i needed was in stock. except for when i took them home and opened the box i found 2 of the 4 smashed and broken so i go to return them. guess what. they are considered discontinued and no return! once again thankfully a manager with a brain understood the situation and made it right. i had every intention of purchasing my kitchen cabinets from menards but they have lost that sale. I also had no intentions of leaving a bad review i was just not going to ever go back. but the final straw for me was the dehumidifier i purchased last weekend. It failed and leaked water all over my floor. i do wonder if they sell second sourced items. I've had nothing but trouble with almost everything, even my ceiling fan had a broken globe when i opened the box.I have over 2k in rebates im half afraid to buy anything else from this store due to the issues with product and lastly the helpers they have hired to help you spend more time avoiding you or playing on thier cellphones than actually doing work** your response is generic like the product that you sell

I like this store, but you really have to watch the prices. A lot of things are very overpriced. However, a lot of things are good deals too.Also, always watch your items as the cashier scans them because at least one item on every trip rings up wrong. Then the cashier has to get someone to check the price and then there might be some back and forth and so on. Its all very annoying. Like just today I had an exterior screen door handle ring up wrong and had to check out and wait at the desk for them to actually find the item way in the back of the store. So my $14.99 item was really $18.49, but I didn't buy it not just because the the price, but also because I didn't want to wait in line again to pay.So I just went on Amazon and got the same item for $13.90. So it worked out for the better anyway.

Huge offering of home improvement items. I was in search of ceiling fans at the time. I'm not sure of the exact number of available options but there plenty to choose from. Prices were very good. Extremely clean and organized. I'll be back.
