Our dogs wa so sick and being 20 years old we were very worried . The vet and staff explained everything hospitalized her over night. She is doing great. They stayed late to treat her and make sure she was doing better. Thank Dr Sara and staff for all your TLC. Would highly recommend the office

I was hesitant to select a veterinary clinic that is so newly established, but I have found that Dr. Sarah Nelson and her staff to be knowledgeable, caring and compassionate for all of my dogs and cats. Her fees are also reasonable. I highly recommend her.

I had never used this vet so I called for an appt for my Chihuahua. He's been coughing lately. I asked for a price for initial exam. The girl said that he'd need x-ray so expect to pay about $170. She also thought that since he's over 10 yrs old he probably had heart worms and would need medication.( Again she's never seen my dog) She told me to at least be prepared to pay$225-$250. I chose to go to the Alderson vet. where I only paid $54 for exam and prescription for Allergies!!

Dr. Nelson has several years experience and her Vetenarian knowledge base is immeasurable. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and I’ve owned many dogs. Throughout the years I’ve met many Vetenarian’s, who had all excelled in their field. I grew up in Summers County but moved away after high school to attend college. I retired in 2012, and I few years later returned to my home town. I was concerned about the Vetenarian care in this rural area. To my amazement, I found Dr. Nelson and her care surpasses all Vetenarian’s from my past. Last December Dr. Nelson discovered a heart condition and lung tumor in my 14 year old Cockapoo (Sammie). Sammie lived for 10 months following the diagnosis. Thanks to Dr. Nelson and her staff, Sammie was able to enjoy her last 10 months with me. Dr. Nelson prescribed several medications which really improved her quality of life. Her staff are true animal lovers and do their best to accommodate their clients. Dr. Nelson was available for Sammie 24/7........I will be eternally grateful. You will never find a Vetenarian clinic that surpasses Brookfield Vetenarian.
