Would definitely stay in this hotel again. Loved it! Everyone was so kind. The rooms were very clean. Price was pretty reasonable. The kids love the indoor pool. It was heated. Great for the winter. The only thing that I would probably recommend would be to have either pancakes or waffles for the kids for breakfast. But adults love the biscuits and gravy, fresh eggs, sausage, bananas and apples some cereals, bagels and yogurt. It was free for hotel guest.Rooms: The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of pillows I know they have bigger rooms that are considered hotel suites. Our room had a refrigerator, a nice size TV but no microwave. The microwave was down the hall.Nearby activities: The green monster museumđź‘˝, there's things about Bigfoot, and the Haymond haunted house. I was even towed that you're in the summer. There are a lot of places you can go to. Canoe and swim.Food & drinks: There are several fast food places there's an Arby's ,McDonald's ,KFC, and a Walmart,

This is a very nice place to stay on our journey back home to Canada. It's a very relaxing and comfortable stay. It's very nice to be able order dinner from the hotel restaurant and enjoy it in the room.We would recommend this hotel to all our friends and family.Rooms: The rooms we had over the years have all been very comfortable, quiet and clean.Food & drinks: We enjoyed ordering a little dinner directly from the hotel restaurant. The breakfast is included and plenty of choices to eat.

I traveled to Flatwoods, WV this summer. This is the hotel that was recommended. I was very impressed when I arrived. The building and grounds were modern and well kept. The parking lot was spacious & well lite. The front desk staff were very helpful & pleasant. My room was very clean & comfortable, it was very inviting & I was able to relax. The hotel also had a pool & fitness center that I was able to use. The hotel also had a nice restaurant that had a wonderful continental breakfast buffet. I also enjoyed the spectacular views from the hotel. Its sits up on a hill that overlooks Sutton/Flatwoods. I had a very enjoyable stay here, I recommend this hotel & know that you will have a great stay.

After an amazing family trip we stopped here on our way home. While having dinner at their restaurant we saw a heavy storm was headed to us so we packed up and left very early in the morning. We didn’t realize our toddler left his brand new dinosaur in the room until it was too late. The amazing staff shipping the toy to us! My son is so happy. Thank you so much ! ♥️♥️

Location of this Days Inn is in the center of the state which is the best location when bringing people from around the state. It is easy access from interstate 79. There is ample parking with two major entrances to the hotel. One entrance takes you to the main lobby and restaurant. The second entrance gives access to the conference center. The conference center and main lobby are connected by an inside hallway. Once you're there you don't have to go outside to move between the two areas of the hotel.

ATTN: PLEASE READ.If I could give zero stars I would. Me, my husband and our 1 year old daughter had been staying there for about a week. We had a house fire and have been moving around to available hotels since October. We were turned in for a vaping complaint by house keeping and a few days later the manager and owner of the hotel showed up and spoke with my husband about the vaping and we was told that even though signs don’t say no vaping that it is still not allowed. Along with the vaping complaint house keeping also told that our room was a disaster with stains all over the floors and such, when the owner brought this up we asked him to come in and see because it was not true and he denied. Me, my husband and daughter left for the day and returned around 10 pm, we was there for maybe 15 minutes and 3 state police, a manager and a security guard shows up at the door while me and my daughter had run to the gas station. We was evicted from the room and made to get our stuff out within an hour as we have a crying tired 1 year old, with no where to go. This security guard also goes around the parking lot writing tag numbers down and running peoples tags and also walks the hallways armed. The rooms are incredibly small and 1970s retro style. Housekeeping only came in to take our trash out and never once cleaned. Our room was priced at $250 per night and it wasn’t even worth $50

We come here every year for Christmas to visit family. Place is always clean and friendly staff. We had an issue with our A/c not working and blowing nothing but hot air. The room was 78 degrees and climbing. They sent someone immediately to fix it. Took them about 5 minutes and had it up and running again. I didn't get his name, but thank you for coming to fix our issue so quickly.Rooms: Clean.

Everyone that works here is top notch! I recommend this hotel to anyone!I had a reservation at a nearby hotel during the week of Thanksgiving, but because I had booked online with a third party they couldn’t honor my reservation. Luckily, the Days Inn in Flatwoods had availability, AND went out of their way to accommodate a special need I had. The employees here were extremely understanding and kind. They helped me with every inquiry I had and were genuinely good people. Seriously, so much smiling and kindness! During the holidays?! These folks were rockstars!A few other nice things to note are that the lobby area is beautifully decorated for the holidays, the free breakfast buffet was on point, and the pool and fitness center are in great shape (cardio equipment only).Keep in mind that this is an older hotel and is a little outdated, but the comfort, care, and cleanliness are 5/5 stars! This hotel is also a conference space, so their property and parking lot are large and well lit. The hotel is pet friendly (one dog policy; no cats), and has a bar and restaurant. The beds were comfortable, and the front desk had small, free toiletries we had left behind.I WILL stay here again when visiting family in WV. Thank you Flatwoods Days in and Conference Center for an excellent stay!

Sounds like others reviewing this hotel had similar experience. I called the hotel direct to book the room. Was told all in order, but then when I arrived, I was told someone cancelled my reservation?? What the heck ! I told them, I did not cancel it ! They said, not a problem, we've got a room for you. It was the same kind of room I originally booked. I liked everything else and for the price, I can't say much. I use the hotel to shower and sleep pretty much as I'm on the go most the time so don't use many of the amemities. Although the restaurant was nice and I enjoyed the breakfast and evening meals. I'll use this hotel again, but will make sure I have a confirmation number before I hang up. I would be quite upset if I got there and a room I had booked was no longer available. Will give them another chance.

The hotel is very large and contains a conference center. There is a restaurant onsite, operating again. The food is good and the breakfast is the best. The rooms definitely are showing their age. You can feel the broken concrete floors through the thin carpet. The bathrooms are very small. The balconies are a really nice feature though. There is a pool outside and it's clean and maintained. It's not very large but great for kids.Nearby activities: Plenty of recreational areas nearby surrounding the Sutton Lake. Bigfoot Museum, Flatwoods Monster Museum, Centralia (geographic center of WV) are all nearby.Food & drinks: The Mexican restaurant in the plaza across the interstate is really good. The Italian restaurant, Stancatis, south of the hotel on rt4 a few miles is good and delivers (not open late though).

Centrally located in the middle of WV. Stopped here on the way back from the northeast for a quick overnight rest, even though we were close to home.Booked a double Queen room via third party and arrived to the hotel. Large hotel with 2 towers of rooms and a conference center in the middle.Unfortunately, our double Queen room was sold out and the only options were a double full or a suite. We asked for the suite and to pay the difference and the front desk refused to do this and instead downgraded our family of 4 to a double full basic room. Not happy about this, at all.The rooms are very dated, but clean. There is a pool and fitness center in the south tower, and a restaurant/bar in the north. The breakfast buffet was good, but avoid the eggs. Can’t explain the texture, but it wasn’t a good one.Likely we would stay here again, but the customer service experience at check in and being downgraded was not ideal. We likely wouldn’t return and would leave for elsewhere if we had a similar check in experience.

The place is nice but could use some attention to details, big and small.1. The room did not have a DO NOT DISTURB sign in the room.2. The room was not cleaned during our stay so we had to call for towels.3. The indoor pool was not clean. The water didn't look clean and when I jumped in it the floor of the pool was slippery, slimish.4. There were no towels at either pool.5. Lots of fast foos restaurants just down the hill from the hotel but no short path to make it a short walk. You have to walk it as if you're driving so it's a longer walk. Not to mention that everyone in the area seems to drive a big pick-up truck and they drive like they're on the speedway. So it makes it more dangerous.

I stay at a lot of hotels for work all over the east coast from Maine to Florida to about Missouri and I have to say this is the overall best hotel that I've stayed at the past couple of years.1. The shower pressure is great!2. The beds are comfortable and the comforters (blankets) are the perfect, on the thinner side but still warm enough to keep you warm with the AC on max cool.3. THE BISCUITS!!! They are baked to a buttery and crispy perfection!4. (Continuation of point 3) Breakfast as a whole has a nice spread with lots of options from eggs, sausage, sausage & gravy, home-fry potatoes, waffles, cereal, poptarts, fruit, etc.5. There's a restaurant in the hotel on the lobby floor where you can order dinner.6. There's a firepit on the backside of the building with lots of seating and a killer view of the beautiful West Virginia landscape7. Unlimited parking (basically). The parking lot is HUGE. My company was able to pull six 53' trucks and trailers all side by side in this lot with ease.8. I've listed a few reasons why I think this is a great hotel overall if you're in need of one in the area, so I'll say two things that may be a con for some people.A. There are no microwaves in the rooms. Each floor has one microwave across from the elevators.B. There are no cameras in the hallways.

Very impressed!! The rooms were IMPRESSIVLY clean. The night and morning desk employees were extremely kind. The breakfast was DELICIOUS. Even the view from the dining area was really pretty. They even had some sitting area outside!! 10/10 would stay again. Fantastic foe the price.Rooms: So so clean. It might be outdated for some. But it was impressive how clean it was for it's age.Food & drinks: The breakfast (which is complimentary) was really good! I was thinking it was going to be some sad pile of eggs but they had DELICIOUS breakfast sandwiches and fruit and all sorts of things!Noteworthy details: The night front desk employees were very nice. I find that surprising because normally they tend to be cranky in my experience.

Place was booked. We had booked through a 3rd party for 2 queens but on arrival found out the only available rooms were a suite, two fulls or one double. The front desk registration refused to let me upgrade to the suite even with offering to pay additional which wasn’t exceptional customer service in my opinion. They had the room available and easily could have upgraded us but instead downgraded us.Rooms were meh. Parking was good. Location was good. There’s a lot around compared to other exits off I79. We will most likely be back and hopefully we get the room we paid for.

A reasonably nice place. The internet was horrible and I ended up using my own data to do anything on the internet. The room wasn't well maintained. It was comfortable, but had issues with the safe not working the shower curtain rod about to fall off of the wall and a light in a dimly lit room with no lightbulb. When I reported these things they did send a maintenance man, but I am wondering why they didn't catch these things before my stay.

They were able to provide a 4 night stay for me after their "step -sister" hotel (Microtel) down the road over booked. I had reservation's that I had booked and paid for it full in March 2023 they would not honor. But Days Inn saved the trip. I wasn't given the discount for the event but I didn't have to sleep in my vehicle. Staff were friendly and Inn was clean as well as very comfortable. I drink a lot of coffee so it would have been nice to have more coffee available in the room. Had a very nice stay. They also get a gold star for having a Bible in the room.

The entire staff that we came in contact with were professional, friendly, & most helpful. Kudos to the wonderful ladies on the kitchen staff. These ladies made our dining experience excellent (breakfast & catered lunch for a conference). The staff pay attention to detail and even assisted with dietary restrictions. The premises including the rooms were clean.Rooms: The rooms were clean.Safety: I felt very safe while I stayed at this location.Food & drinks: The breakfast that was served was hot, fresh, and delicious. As well as the luncheon during the conference I attended.
