We had the pretzel bites with beer cheese and they were DELICIOUS 🤤 best cheese I’ve ever had. Also had the bacon cheddar fries they were pretty good also. For our entree we had the grilled chicken sandwich with pineapple 🍍 and teriyaki, may have been called Hawaiian chicken sandwich and it was mouthwatering good! So juicy and delicious. Also had the chips and chicken bowl. It was very good also could have maybe used a bit of cilantro 🌿 for a more authentic taste but it was still pretty good. Service was TOP NOTCH! Our server was fabulous. We came in after a day on the lake midweek and had no wait. Family friendly dining with delicious meals. Craft beers and tasty appetizers.

As someone else mentioned, it seems like a bit of a dive bar from the outside, so when driving by, don't miss it.The food is fabulous. Best Hoagie Ever. The burger is pretty fine as well.Staff are friendly and courteous. Greeted right at the door, and welcomed.If you are looking for something local, this is certainly worth a stop.

As me and my daughter were Driving down the interstate starved, we googled restaurants and this was the first place to pop up. Pulling up into the small parking lot it kind of reminded me of a small mom and pop place. But WOW I’m so glad we stopped here! The restaurant was clean with great vibes and the menu was simple. I ordered the street corn and trash can fries to start, then the napalm burger and Mac and cheese burger for the entree the food was absolutely delicious!!!!!! I was so amazed that such a small restaurant could send out something like we got. This place was on point! Would definitely recommend and eat here again!!

My husband and I were visiting family and we always like to try out new restaurants. So we ended up at The Local 805 because of its Google Reviews. This place did not disappoint. I had the veggie burger with fries and it was of the best I have had eating out. The French fries are crispy and perfectly salted. My husband had the all beef hot dogs that also come with fries. He said the hot dogs were delicious and rate at the top of his list along with Hillbilly Hot Dogs in Lesage, WV and Dirty Franks in Columbus, OH.Vegetarian options: The veggie burger was one of the best I have eaten.

This restaurant is always improving. They have pool tables. Chess boards and Giant Jenga! Karaoke. Good drinks and good atmosphere. My husband and I were passing through and decided to stop for a bite based on the great reviews. I ordered the Chomp Chomp Nation burger with garlic fries and it was the best burger I think I've had in my life. The beer cheese was incredible. The garlic fries were amazing too, with real roasted garlic! They had a great drink selection and our server was really sweet as well.

Stopped by here for lunch this past week. My first visit in several years and as the new establishment with new owners. What a surprise! Nice and clean,, brightly light and a definite improvement from my viditvyears ago.Lunch was awesome, I got the WV hotdog with garlic fries and grabbed a WV craft beer. Service was awesome, friendly and informative. Cassi was excellent, kitchen staff pleasant as well. I will definitely be back! ( and will. maybe bring the grandkids for lunch!)

Yummy & wonderful service! Don't let the outside fool you. This place is terrific. Very dog friendly with hidden outside seating. The cook even made some bacon for our pup ❤️. Bartender/ server was the sweetest! Burger was delish, bacon cheese fries with ranch were beyond expectations. I'm raving, which I rarely do in reviews, but we were just so pleased with the food & friendly service.

If I could give more I totally would! We travel full time and eat at a lot of places I wish would be easier to do more often and so far this place tops the list. From the amazing food and the amazing service, down to the head chef allowing my picky self to sample the most delicious thing ever… bacon Jam ( don’t worry no gelatinous stuff inside for you vegan folks!). This is a must stop on your list! Get to it.You’ll not regret this decision like you did your wedding… kidding. Lmao!!!!!

When I arrived I sat at the bar. There were empty drink at multiple seats, signed checks etc.Bartender was at the bar but didn't notice me for a few minutes. It was not busy.Once I was noticed she was fairly attentive, though my beer was empty before I was offered another.I ordered a burger with fries and it took an hour. What? That's a long time. When I mentioned it to my bartender she said they were catching up from an earlier rush. She was kind and apologetic, but did not offer any reparations. The fries were great, the burger was a solid standard burger (not special, but solid).Then I got the bill. $8 drafts... on a Tues night... ok... this is WV not NYC.Plenty of other places serving good burgers and fries even in summersville... and they don't take an hour to arrive.

I was in town, for work, and Googled "Best burgers in Summersville". The Local was on the list, so I figured I'd give it a try. I ordered the Chomp Chomp Nation and have to say thatcI was definitely satisfied. The atmosphere and staff were both very friendly. I'll definitely put it at the top of my list, the next time I'm in town, looking for a great burger, cold beer and a game of pool!

We were vacationing in West Virginia, trout fishing. After a long day on the rivers, I googled restaurants in Summersville, and The Local popped up with good reviews. We were not disappointed. The server was great, and the burgers were so good. The fried pickles were in the top 5 I've ever had, and their secret sauce is excellent. Thanks for a great meal, and being a part of our first West Virginia vacation!
