I'm always worried about staying in a motel versus a hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Damian, the guy who checked me in was absolutely amazing. Wonderful personality and very knowledgeable of the local area. He gave me a great recommendation for dinner. Every Hotel should have somebody like him working there. He is definitely an asset to the company. The rooms were clean, extremely clean, outside of the hotel was quite clean. I will most definitely stay here again next time I am in the area

Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, in general, but the linens were less than acceptable. I rejected one pillow with a brown stain that may or not have been fresh. Another pillowcase was very yellowed. Bed sheets were fine. ALL of the washcloths were stained--one was clearly stained when flipped over (a brown stain the color of shoe polish), the other two at first glance looked white, but as soon as you wet them the gray showed up across the entire middle of one, a great brown streak across another - stains were not on the surface, but embedded in the cloth of the fabric itself. Not encouraging about how deeply the laundry is cleaned. How about some chlorine bleach, folks?I would not stay here again, because of the laundering quality.Pets are welcome here. We asked for a second-floor room since pets are generally housed on the first floor. Our room did not smell of pets, but did have a stale odor like that you get when you walk into grade-B thrift store. The A/C didn't clear out the smell.Breakfast very plain - toaster waffles, plain bread for the toaster, cold cereal. Coffee acceptable.

The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The bathroom is a bit run down, and the heater sounds like a jumbo jet taking off every time it turns on. It made it very hard to have a solid sleep. If you are a light sleeper, good luck. The room beside us had an even worse one that whistled. The beds were pretty hard but not the worst I've slept on. The pillows were like cinder blocks, so bring your own if you're going to stay here. There is a "continental breakfast," but it's super basic. Cereal, things you can toast, apples, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice. There is a Dairy Queen in the parking lot that is convenient if you like Dairy Queen.

Right off the highway.Booked a king but they had no clean rooms available (they claimed the cleaning staff was off). Had I known I wouldn't be getting the room I preferred I would have gone down the street to the competitor.Front desk was friendly, room was decent, had a slight cigarette smell but not too bad.Pet friendly and the fee was better than most."due to inclement weather that day"I never said what day I was there and the hotel staff told me the cleaners had the day off. Don't lie to costumers, just apologize and do better. Take responsibility.If i was able to drive 1000miles to get to your hotel, there was no inclement weather.Noteworthy details: Pet friendly (I think it was $10)

We had a room with a king bed which worked for us do to a walker was being used, giving plenty of room to move around. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well stocked. Check in was easy. The staff both at night and in the morning were friendly and helpful. When traveling by car will definitely stay here again. The breakfast satisfied our needs.

Our stay was for 2 rooms for 2 nights. At the end of our first night we asked for more towels and were asked to gather the used towels and trade them for fresh towels. We decided to wait until the next morning (8am) and when my husband took the used towels to the front desk he was only able to get ONE towel! Housekeeping wasn't in yet. We found that very odd. The hotel could really use an update as well.

Excellent customer service, very clean room, great area with tons of stores 6 miles down the road to grab food and Starbucks coffee. Room was so clean even my wife who has bad OCD was even impressed. They also have an elevator at this location to get to the upper floors which is a huge kudos. Would recommend if you are in the area for great rates, great rooms, and decent food this is the place.

Better breakfast 😋 then super 8 and a rest full nights sleep and the staff is nice and so sweet everything is new also cleaner then super 8 the woman that's head house keeper really knows what she's doing for all the back brakein work she has to do I thank she needs a raise 😊 but this place is so peaceful this place is where u can kick back and enjoy the peace and quit and in joy the little things 😊.

The gentleman at the front desk when we arrived was wonderful! That's where it stopped. Our room was alright but the toilet, coffee maker, and freezer were all dirty. The woman at the front desk our second day never seemed to wanna work. Everytime I walked by the front, she was sitting outside smoking. When I needed additional towels, I called down and asked for them. Surprisingly, she was there and was even sort of nice on the phone minus the fact that she told me I either needed to track down house keeping (who told me the day before she didn't have any) or bring all my dirty ones down to her....I'm sorry you want me to do your job?!?! 🙄 Any other hotel would have figured out a way to accommodate that for the paying guest. We did track down HK and that lady was terrific! She didnt have any on her cart but went above and beyond to look for them and bring them right to our room. Breakfast was okay; cereal, waffles, yogurt, English muffins with a toaster. It is pet friendly which was helpful because we could leave our pup in the air conditioning. I also liked that there was an elevator since we had a 3rd floor room. Overall, I wasn't impressed and the only thing going for it is the low price. Which, I guess this place is proof you get what you pay for.Rooms: Nothing stands out. Dust on the picture. Stain on the sheet. Way to much brown and it makes the room dark even with the curtains open and all the lights on. The sink is so low that a 5 year old would be able to walk right up to it and be the perfect height. The safe didn't work.Wi-fi: Wifi exists. No password which made getting on easy. Didn't stream or game on it but basics were handled easily.Food & drinks: Vending and Ice machines are only on the first floor which is only convenient if your on the first floor. They have coffee in the office 24 hours which is nice.

After a long day of driving, my husband and I pulled into the Sure Stay Hotel, uncertain since the name was unfamiliar. The staff was pleasant, efficient and very helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and attractive. Carla, the manager, made a fresh pot of decaf coffee just for us. Breyer, at the desk, had us checked in very quickly. We had stayed at this property previously when it was a different company and it was very disappointing. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights. Price was low; we got what we paid for. The beds were clean and pest-free. The air conditioner and refrigerator worked. The receptionist was very friendly.But the iron was hazardous, and the replacement was barely serviceable. Water drained so slowly that I thought my shower was a bath. Doors fit poorly in their frames, such that opening and closing them was too difficult for my mother. The phone did not work.

The staff was friendly and helpful; the room was large and clean, with good blackout drapes and nice carpeting, comfortable underfoot; the bed was very comfortable; shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure; breakfast was simple but plentiful, with enough variety to meet our needs. Overall, a nicely kept hotel that was excellent value for the price.

The room was clean. Not a fancy room and could use an update. We paid $90.00 after tax for a room with 2 queen beds with a AAA discount. The air conditioner was very loud and hard to sleep. The only way it shuts off is if you turn the unit completely off. I accidentally turned on the heater and it smelled like dead animal so bad with opened the door for a while. Besides that the staff was VERY friendly and helpful! I feel like they do the best they can with what they have to work with. I can't say one bad thing about the staff! So I would say it's over priced for what you get! My experience was horrible so I'm giving it a 2 star. Only because of the loud AC unit and being a bit over priced.

Horrible place, horrible people. Do not stay at this place. Quality inn about 3 or so miles up the road is a much better and friendlier place. Called them 9 pm told them driving from nc will not get there til middle of the night. They took my card number and was suppose to keep a room for me. Got there 230 am but they gave it away do I had no place to stay, it was middle of yhe night and my 77 tr old mother was with me. Oh they knew she would be I told them when k made the reservation. The woman did not even cRe that we were not go naked have a place to stay. Spain horrible place, horrible service do not stay here. If I could leave them a 0 star that is what they would get.
