Great location and service. However, there were safety and health concerns:1. The back door of the hotel is left open all night long. As a result people who are not guests of the hotel can easily enter the hotel.2. When we got our room key, we found the room door slightly open. Basically, we entered a room that was open to the public.3. There was a truck on the parking lot, left with the engine working all night long, producing noise and heavy diesel fumes.

The room was clean enough and the front desk staff was pleasant.They don't have breakfast as advertised, just granola bars. The toilet seat was stained, bubbly and looked like it had been through a fire. The toilet ran all night, and it was loud, so it was difficult to sleep. The staff frequently smoked outside the front door so be ready to walk through smoke clouds as you're coming and going.

The hotel staff like to lie and keep your deposit. When you have a noise complaint they will tell you that they've gotten complaints on you. The manager will even come to your room at 1 am and wake you up to tell you they got a noise complaint on you. No towels for 3 of the 4 days we stayed. Housekeeping never came to the room to change sheets, empty trash, or bring towels.Thankfully I always pack my own. The staff was extremely rude and unfriendly.Rooms: Nothing but sheets and pillows, on the beds. No blankets, no towels or toiletries. Window had tape and paper coverings it for 3 days due to renovations but they workers were done in a day and they wouldn't remove when asked.Safety: They back door was never kept locked due to a rock holding it open.Noteworthy details: The staff is extremely rude.

A very clean room. But the sewers back up in the toilet and bath tub the 2nd night we stayed in our room. We tried to call the front desk with no answer. We went to the front desk to find the man asleep with no way to wake him.. Then the next morning we tried to reach him again from 5-6 am calling the front desk. With the same result . so my wife walked down to the office and the was out side smoking cigarettes and playing on his phone.. We have stayed here before many times. Even know the owners but I think they could use a better night shift employee..

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK YOUR ROOM!!!!On July 23rd, I checked into room 211. At first, I was pleased with the service provided by Vickie, the front desk clerk, that was more than helpful throughout my and my family’s stay. The rates for the room were fair and the room/check-in area was clean, as I was walking in, Vickie was vacuuming the check-in area. However, the trip took a sharp turn that violated my and my sister’s rights to privacy, and the noise disturbance was unbearable throughout the stay.First, I will explain how the Super 8 staff violated the contract of my stay. While on July 24th, at approximately 11:00 a.m., my sister, who shared the room with me, heard a noise rattling on the electronic lock outside our door. As she grabbed to open the door, a man, who claimed to be a hotel staff manager, was trying to unlock our door just as she opened the door to explore the noise. He asked her, while I was still in bed from the night before, if he and 5 other men could work on our bathroom because of the remodeling that is going on within the Super 8, which we had no idea about before we checked into the room. My sister felt intimidated and chose to let the men into our bathroom when we were both in our room. The worse part is that the man would have entered the room either way, and our privacy was invaded upon.Also, while checking out on July 26th at 10:00 a.m., a man that worked for the hotel manager was on a hydraulic machine outside of our window peering into our room, smiling while he was putting blue tape on our window; I have a video of this incident that I can attach if needed. There are many other things that I could mention but aren’t in direct violation of the contract: rude cleaning service, the mini fridge didn’t work, the bathroom didn’t lock, the safe was broken, the toilet had a leak, etc. But I chose to focus more on the violation of my contract for one main reason: I and my family did not feel safe at this Super 8.Next, the not-so-serious situation was the noise of construction, which I had no idea about before or during my stay, it was so bad that me and my sister, who has a 2-year-old daughter, could not get a wink of sleep. We heard a beeping noise that stayed consistent for hours, the noise was coming from the same hydraulic machine that the man who was taping our window was using. Also, there were noises of hammering, sawing, and yelling orders from as early as 7 a.m. without any kind of warning beforehand.

People were nice but pic of room looked bigger. We 1st arrived we asked about extra towels and wash rags they said they were all out check back tomorrow. We did but no extra linen, the room service only comes around every 3 days. If just you and your spouse it's OK but not family oriented, and there was no parking, we had to park next door at auto zone, and there was no elevators, had to lug up luggage up stairs. It's ok to stay try it out for yourself but I will not stay here again. It would probably be ok for you just not for me and my family. Room we stayed in didn't have a closet so luggage was in floor and walk way.

Very friendly staff. Helpful and nice. The motel itself was horrible. Very smokey even for a non smoking rooms, the entrance was smokey, the hallways, it was everywhere. We walked out smelling like we came out of a bingo hall. Burn holes in covers, sheets were dirty, covers were stained, carpets were stained. No main light fixture, had to turn on all the lamps and washroom light. Them realized how bad it was and checked out immediately before off loading the luggage. I am struggling to understand all the "good reviews" (except for the front desk staff)

This is a good place to stay. For the price, it is good. The rooms are not the newest, but they are clean and comfortable. I have stayed there several times traveling from NY to Florida and will continue to do so on future trips. The location and staff are what makes it all worth the price. The staff is super friendly, and it is right off the highway on Merchant's Walk, close to places to eat and shop along the way to wherever your destination might be.

When I first entered my room all I could hear was Mexican music blasting from across the halls in like 3 rooms. It smelled very weird. Like old food or idk weird.. then as the night for later people were knocking on doors and yelling in the halls. They had no respect for other people there. I was very uncomfortableRooms: It was a little dirty had long black hair in the shower.

When our vehicle broke down in West Virginia ,we were forced to stay in a hotel for three days . We couldn’t have gotten any better hotel to stay in. The complete staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would like to give a big Canadian shout out to two of the employees. Taynia and Leslie these two ladies made us feel right at home felt like we had known them for years. I would definitely drive out of my way to stay there again

One feature that is not mentioned on the website is that there's no elevator. It's also not disclosed that suites are only on the 3rd floor. The room needed vacuuming, the sink had toothpaste in it, the toilet had urine on it. The mattress was uncomfortable, the bathroom door did not close without a piece of paper in the hinge, and a dresser door refused to stay closed without a piece of paper tucked in it. Their cleaning aerosols leave a weird odor that creates congestion. Parking was ample. Cleaning staff were friendly. Front desk staff were not so friendly.

I am frequently at this location due to business travel. The property is currently in the process of remodeling and the upgrades are nice. The staff is friendly, and the property is well maintained. The internet works well, and the property is kept very clean.I hope they return to a full breakfast offering soon and ditch the grab bag offerings they were intimidated into over the past few years.

Front staff was super friendly and checked me in promptly being as though I had just traveled 16 hours so that was much appreciated. The room was super nice and clean in my opinion. The only downside was they are remodeling the hotel so it wasn’t pretty in the hallways but the room looked great. Will definitely keep this in mind the next time I’m in the area.

All depends of what you are looking for, for a cheap bed is good enough but beds are not bery comfortable, the rooms are clean enough but smells like people were smoking inside, the bathrooms were not working and no one was able to fix it because there is no maintenance person after certain hours, so we requested another room. The receptionist at the front desk was nice and very polite, she switched rooms very fast.Lots of parking, the gas station is right next door and the hwy also.

I liked four of the staff and it's a nice place but not as clean as it could be and there ant really a breakfast I would not even call that a breakfast my two favorite staff one was steven and the other her name is Natalia she's so sweet and awesome 😊 Steven is fun and helpful the last night I was there both me and the gentleman next to me was hearing sounds coming from one of the rooms up from us sounded like some one falling off the bed but when Steven came up to check there was nothing it went quit every time he went to check it out it went silent but other then that I had a great time there I made a lot of friends I am going to miss them and the gentleman next to me was really sweet could not ask for a better Neighbor.

Very affordable, front desk person was very nice. Room was clean, very comfortable beds, had a safe in the room which is a plus. The only downside to the room we had was the commode ran all night long. So if you are given room 111 ask to see if commode problem was resolved b4 staying in that room. Unless your someone that sleeps heavily and it doesnt bother you.

Clean rooms VERY nice staff!! I have stayed at quite a few different hotels and motels in many different places and the staff here was more pleasant than any other staff I've ever encountered. The beds were high end quality hotel comfortable. Hair dryer in the room as well as a microwave and refrigerator. Good cable tv too. The only downfall? The carpets were very old and filthy. So filthy that they felt wet and/or greasy! Oh, and this is a big deal actually and needs fixed asap: black mold in the bathroom on the walls at the ceiling in the shower. That's not healthy at all!!

Room needs to perhaps be upgraded by removing the carpet and replacing with laminate or something similar. The wifi is a concern as there is no password option, the use of a VPN is strongly recommended if using wifi. It is a convenient location, the room was comfortable and the staff were excellent. Recommended when needing a room when travelling from point A to point B.

I would not stay at this hotel again. It was fine until I had woken up in the morning to the smell of urine on my clothes (and it was NOT mine). I was mortified! I had pulled down the sheets and mattress pad and found a large yellow dried stain on the mattress that smelled horrible! It had obviously been there before my stay. I didn't smell it the night before because I had strong scented medicated cream on my recently dislocated shoulder. When I complained to the front desk, the manager was very nice and said she would speak to the owner about my situation. When I hadn't heard anything a week later, I called. I was appalled to hear that they accused ME of peeing on the mattress!! Pretty interesting considering my clothes and mattress were NOT wet that morning. If I had done it, I would had left the hotel in shame without saying a word, NOT complaining to the front desk. I should have had the manger walk up with me to check my room BEFORE I left. Lesson learned... always check your mattress before getting in bed at a hotel (especially Room 208).
