We rented a boat from them. Very easy check in/ out. Very friendly staff. Note, if you rent snorkel/dive equip & rent boat, double check hours for the dive shop. We had a great time exploring, swimming in the lake.

Beautiful we rented a pontoon and spent the entire day there and had a blast. It was chilly in the morning but around 4 it warmed up really good. If you go in June bring a hoodie

My family and I rented kayaks and spent a few hours in the morning on the lake. The gentleman who assisted us was incredibly kind! The prices to rent the kayaks were fair. We had a blast and the emerald green water is so pretty! We will definitely be back.

Great Lake to have a relaxing weekend with family/friends, Marina has a nice little shop to get basic necessities for the day on the lake. There’s basically 2 ways to go from the Marina one way is unrestricted for speed and fun, the other is a no wake for great swimming and relaxing.

Summersville is a beautiful lake and the people who worked at the marina were very nice and helpful! There are so many fun rocks to climb and jump off of and there is plenty of parking. You are allowed to bring your pets with you so your dogs can enjoy the lake too! They will search your coolers for alcohol if you are renting a boat from them. It's a great place to spend a day at with the whole family!My only complaint is they have a untrained (rescue) pitty dog running around. The owner had very minimal knowledge of dog safety. She is able to run up to any person and any dog on the dock with minimal supervision. I wouldn't mind if she came when they called her back but she didn't. I'm glad they rescued her and she gets to have a great life there, but it is unsafe to let a untrained dog run up to anyone who comes there.

I always love coming to this lake & stopping by the marina gift shop.I feel like they always have something new & different.The employees are very very nice & are always helpful.They are very welcoming of dogs & that makes me like the shop even more!

My experience with Summersville Lake Marina's transient spot reservation system was utterly frustrating and unorganized. Not only was the website difficult to navigate, but it also lacked any clear confirmation process. After attempting to make a reservation, I never received any communication from the marina about whether my spot was confirmed or not. There was no acknowledgment or follow-up email, leaving me uncertain about my reservation status. When I tried reaching out to their customer support for clarification, they were unresponsive, which only added to the disappointment. The lack of communication from the marina made planning my trip an anxious and uncertain process. I wouldn't recommend this reservation system to anyone due to the complete lack of communication and customer support.

We rented a pontoon boat for the day and the entire process couldn’t have been better! Everyone who worked at the marina was so nice and helpful, the boat was in great condition and was ready right when we arrived first thing in the morning. The boat ran great and we enjoyed a beautiful day on the lake! When we arrived back to the marina we were met at the dock with more great service and a seamless checkout. Thank you so much for a wonderful day. We will be back for sure!

Absolutely gorgeous lake with the clearest, cleanest water we have been in. The staff at the marina are friendly and extremely helpful. We were able to get a pontoon boat quickly and we had so much fun. Absolutely recommend! Boats are new and spotless and the lake is fantastic!!

Great experience at Summersville Lake Marina! This is the 2nd time my family has rented a pontoon from them. From making the reservation to checking out they did a great job. The boat was nice and fully equipped with life jackets and all the safety equipment needed for a day on the lake.

A must do for families! The entire rental process was super easy, and every employee was safety focused and friendly. The water was perfect with several places to tie up the boat and swim around and jump off rocks. Epic family adventure! Bonus points for the most friendly dock dog that has ever existed. We love Petey!

Boats are nearly brand new, very comfortable and well equipped. Just what you need to cruise an unbelievably beautiful lake. Staff was helpful and price was reasonable. Wish they had an online waiver. We will back!
