Brooke in the breakfast bar is absolutely amazing! She keeps everything fresh, and clean. She even went around pouring coffee for everyone one morning. The room was clean. Our morning breakfast with hot food, was very nice and clean. And Brooke our breakfast host was on the ball keeping everything filled and cleaning at the same time for it was an extremely busy on Sunday morning. She even went to tables and refreshed coffee's and getting peoples trash. BROOKE is definitely an employee that goes beyond with her customer service!!!!

Had a pleasant stay for one night on our way to Florida. Clean room, friendly staff. The lady taking care of the breakfast room was very nice...made a fresh pot of decaf coffee for me. We would definitely stay there again.Rooms: Clean and comfortable.

So pleasantly surprised! Don’t be fooled by the 2 rating of this hotel. It was super clean, hospitality was awesome, breakfast was delicious (and free) and the beds and pillows were so comfy that we took pics of the labels so we could buy them for ourselves! Not sure how the official rating system works, but in my opinion it should be a 3. And based on reviews I’ve read, I think others agree.

So here is what you get for your $. A shower that has no handle to open or close the door, walls that need painting as the pain is literally peeling off the wall and the walls look like they have been pissed on. I believe it is actually urine as it is yellow and looks as if someone stood on the bed and pissed the entire length of the bed down the wall. As for the manager last night that was clearly smoking weed, your door does not cover the scent. The location is great and convenient if you are going to the Gorge for the many outdoor recreational opportunities. Stayed at Hampton Inn last year and it was MUCH better than this, just couldn't get a room this week as they were full.Safety: If the staff is smoking weed at night makes me wonder what else they are allowing....

Stayed here in light of the favorable reviews and my visit did not disappoint. It was very quiet, felt safe, and had genuinely kind staff. The room was clean and fresh. The shower had great pressure and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed with a pet and had plenty of space to walk her. It was a very nice stay. I will be back.

Rooms are clean, daytime staff is very courteous. Nighttime staff could care less, do not count on breakfast unless you want dry cereal, no milk, bread, waffles, and that’s about it, if you’re lucky one type of fruit that may or may not be fresh or non-spoiled. They could get a 4 1/2 stores if they could bring their breakfast issues up, but as I said, the night guy could care less. Really good hotel, for the price.Rooms: Clean rooms, there are a few items that have issues, such as desk, chairs, being broken, but that’s to be expected, it is a hotelSafety: Good safety, great sleepWalkability: Near restaurants thank God, she comments about breakfast.

It's been a while since I've had such a great experience with a hotel. Everything was VERY clean, the halls, lobby, breakfast area, room. The customer service was fantastic from calling in advance and having a real live person answer, to getting in late and last minute, to the front desk and women working in the kitchen helping and being super welcoming. Absolutely a top notch experience. I've stayed at much more expensive hotels that were no where near as clean and friendly. The hot breakfast was free and great. The pillows were so comfortable, so was the bed. Cute leaf shape soap, plant and nature themed decor, modern and updated. I would 100 percent recommend this place to even the pickiest traveler. Thank to the staff you for helping make our family trip memorable! Y'all are absolutely doing a fantastic job!

Paul, at the front desk, was a pleasure speaking with. He was very hospitable. I have to say that we were shocked when we saw a Christmas card and candy canes on the bed. Who does that??? It was awesome to see that they took the time and effort to make the gesture. Little things mean a lot and will always set you apart from the rest. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were comfy, and the coffee was delicious. We didn't eat the free breakfast only because we had a big homemade meal waiting for us in a few hours, at the end of our journey. We're CHOICE MEMBERS and will be staying here every time we pass through. It's nice to find such a welcoming place along our route! We're looking forward to seeing you guys when we return in a few weeks. Merry Christmas!!!

We had a Pet friendly king bedroom was clean, newly decorated. Separate toilet (with the good toilet paper not the cheap thin stuff) and a good shower, no bath. Sink is in the main room, working fridge. Really comfy bed.Breakfast room nice, lots of usual items, scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits, gravy. Friendly lady looking after everything. Would definitely stay there again on our way to Florida

We stopped here as a halfway point from Myrtle Beach. Very nice rooms and value for the money and the service was fantastic. We did hit one issue where our original room smelled like stale hay and tobacco smoke, but as soon as we brought this issue to the gentleman at the front desk (I believe his name is Paul) he promptly moved us to a much cleaner room. The breakfast included was very generous considering what we paid for the room and the beds were very comfortable. Good selection of channels on the tv as well, and along with a pool for the kids to swim, this was a very good place to spend the night.My only wish, which is likely outside of the hotels control, is that there was a sidewalk so that we could safely walk from the hotel side to the other side of the highway where the restaurants are located.

Have stayed here twice in the last three weeks while traveling from GA to WV for skiing. Nice location close to a lot of restaurants and stores in case you need to grab something. Plenty of gas stations around as well. Rooms are efficient and comfortable with room to get some work done if you have your laptop. Staff is friendly and the morning breakfast station has plenty of excellent options and great coffee!

The good news: Sleep Inn is very conveniently located off Hwy 19. The property is exceptionally clean- sparkling, as a matter of fact. I'm not much of a breakfast person, but there was more than plenty and a great variety. The staff is very hospitable and believes in prompt service with a genuine smile. The bad news (and the reason for 4 stars: the key cards are "iffy" at best; during our two day stay we saw the folks at the front desk often. The walls are thin. So very thin- I know way more than I want to know about our neighbors. I finally clicked on a YouTube video promoting sound sleep. Paired with the bathroom fan, it worked.

We are snowbirds heading south and stopped for one night. The hotel was very clean, well cared for and very quiet. The breakfast was most likely the best hotel breakfast we had ever had. The lady that looks after the breakfast bar makes excellent scrambled eggs and sausages. We look forward to maybe staying there again on the return trip north. We highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I travel back and forth between NY and SC. 7 times last year alone. We have certain places we stop along the way. That all changed last week. On a whim we stopped in Summersville WV, about the halfway point. We have never stayed at a Sleep Inn before, but that is all about to change. This hotel was AMAZING. It was very clean, quiet; set back off the main drag but very close to many stores and restaurants. The staff there is perfection! Paul Witt at the front desk and Miss Terrie the breakfast attendant made us feel so at home. The atmosphere and professionalism, combined with good prices made us decide we will always alter our route to stay at the Sleep Inn from now on. Thank you for a wonderful experience.Rooms: Smaller, but very neat. Great beds!Nearby activities: Good variety of stores and restaurants within a 1 mile radius. There's even a small movie theater across the street. Also, the lake, hiking and sightseeing trails are nearby.Food & drinks: The Sleep Inn offers 24/7 lobby coffee service, and has a full, hot breakfast.

POOL CLOSED. Family and I booked this hotel for the pool. It’s 90 degrees outside. Air conditioning in the room shut off at 1am. Staff did find us another room with a broken light but had to pack up and wake the kids up to move. Breakfast slim pickings. Due to booking on Expedia, hotel states nothing they can do about it. Won’t stay at a choice hotel again.

First stay at the Summersville Sleep Inn for an overnight while traveling from SC to PA. Location was very convenient. Nothing fancy but rooms were very clean and staff was warm and welcoming to us and our puppy. Plenty of storage with room configuration. Only wish would have been an extra chair to relax in after a long day on the road. Breakfast offered more than just coffee & rolls but was a bit lackluster. Overall, it was a positive exprience and we'll likely be back for a future trip.A special shout out to the gentleman at the front desk (evening of 3/23 and morning of 3/24) who was one of the most professional and nicest hotel folks we've encountered!

Very busy hotel, parking lot seems to be taken up by alot of large trucks occupying serval spots.The room was musty smelling. Room wasn't cleaned during the stay. Side entrance are not accessible from the outside by keycard. When asked at the front desk was told they were damaged in a storm.Pretty disappointed in my stay.

This place charged my debit card fraudulently for $117.50 four different times in 24 hours and then refused to admit fault and promptly refund my almost 500 dollars. I now am going to have to pursue my money back from them through the local authorities. The facility manager was nothing but rude and unhelpful. I think he should be fired immediately. DO NOT STAY HERE FOR ANYTHING.. . EVER... THEY ARE THIEVES.
