Have had all of my work done here for the past 8 years never a problem with any of my tattoos. Very clean studio and work! Have multiple tattoos from Melanie, one from Spencer and a few piercings too, also have one tattoo from Valerie! Such a great family owned business!

A friend and I went to get piercings.. the staff was friendly. But the selection of jewelry is very small.. also due to my own ignorance believing a professional piercer would know to place jewelry that would allow room for swelling.. I received nipple piercings.. I seen the staff member who I believe was named Spencer.. take the nipple bars out of fresh packaging.. but after making an hour drive.. my swelling had increased to a point that the bars are almost engulfed.. I’m currently applying ice to help bring it down.. but please.. be aware that these particular piercings require extra space for swelling.. I hope the shop will see this and take into consideration to purchase longer bars to prevent something like this for future customers and also for the shop to keep in mind, many woman have larger nipples.. which means larger bars as well for increased swelling. Especially since it’s $90 dollars for both nipples..Service: Piercings

The ink pit is a great place to get work done. The artists are great people and they do awesome work. I've had 2 tattoos done there. The sister done one and the brother done the other and I would refer anyone to them. I will definitely go back.

SO I am a client of going on two years, iv spent over 2grand , and I cannot stop. I have over 60 tattooes. We are a family of 3, my husband. Myself and my daugter have all had work done. If your an ink lover, and your tired of shopping around for talent, I'm telling ya, rest easy at, next gen ink. Everyone always asks me about my best pices, and they came from this shop. Wanted a cover up done. Didn’t get what I wanted but was explained to the reason why and working on a budget, I ended up getting a very beautiful tattoo that exceeded my expectations! The wait time was 6 hours (if we lived in summersville it would of been no issue at all) but that’s my only complaint! I absolutely love my tattoo and plan on going back for more work! The best tattoo shop ever. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent customer service. Spencer did my tattoo yesterday and he was professional, Friendly, Easy going, very courteous, very gentle not rough at all and takes his time and most definitely a wonderful tattoo artist as is his Mom, Dad, and Sister. I'm very Happy and absolutely loving my tattoo Looks just like my Dog I couldn't be more happy about my tattoo than I am right now I'm so in love with my tattoo and so amazed how he took a pic of my dog and draws him out perfectly and the end result is absolutely fantastic. Potential customers beware, if you have a service dog you will be turned away at the door. They are not willing to talk to you or reason with you. I went in to price a touch up, and didn't even get to say why I was there. I walked in and all three artists turned to me and said no dogs allowed. I tried to explain the law concerning service dogs, and was promptly cut off saying that it didn't matter. Who I assume is the owner or boss said that it was a sterile area and so it didn't matter what the law was. He then came to walk me out the door that I was maybe two steps away from. I would suggest they contact the ADA hotline or even just read on the website. Turning away customers due to having a disability and needing medical equipment is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I got my tongue pierced. Spencer did an amazing job explaining everything and how to care for it. I was nervous, but this is an amazing place with amazing staff and amazing environment. It was fast and easy service at a good price.

I received a tattoo when I was a teenager. I had a couple questions about darkening my tat myself or having them fix it for me....I called The Inkpit hoping for some answers but the lady I spoke with was extremely rude and then hung up on me. Angry place to call if you have any questions about your old tattoos.

Best service with piercings I've ever had, wonderful employees that are eager to help and are neat and clean. It you are hesitant about getting pierced here, don't be!As for tattoos, I do not know personally (yet haha) but I've heard nothing but good things as well.

I dont even know that I'd give them one star.. we went out of our way to make 2 trips their last Friday, 1st trip they told us to come back by 4 so we we early 2nd trip and my husband waited in the shop for 3 hours without much of acknowledgement other than when he first walked in the door.. so next day we went to Artistic advantage in Charleston and it was an enjoyable experience and we're both overly pleased with the work they did for us

Great job with the tattoo only problem was with the long wait, however for piecing the wait is a lot shorter.
