Great Food made to order. Outside made us hesitant, inside was roomy. People were nice, service was good. Hamburger steak, and mashed potatoes and pintos were excellent. My wife loved the chicken livers.Parking: 1 location for yearsKid-friendliness: Small town diner friendly for adults and kids

There was only one waitress and she was working so hard, but we needed refills and ketchup and never got it.The food was so blah. My companion had hot turkey sandwich and I had a BLT club that was so thin. Best thing was the fries.Definitely not handicap accessible, especially for a wheelchair user. The restroom is so tiny you have to sttaddle the toilet to turn around.

The ONLY waitress they had was running drive-thru, dining room, bussing, doing all jobs alone. Another young lady came in after we waited in drive thru line 25 min behind one car, then inside waited about 15+ more. The two girls were doing excellent jobs, never stopping!Poor management was the problem I saw. IF they can't get anyone else hired, AN OWNER SHOULD get in to help. It is, after all, their/his/her business! And I'd give the two girls there a raise for handling so much alone!Dietary restrictions: Need more gluten free menu items!

Love Fran's, food is always excellent. Service was incredible. Atmosphere and southern food takes me back so many years. Wish there were more mom and pop diners like Fran's.Vegetarian options: Excellent variety, love the way they are cooked.

We ordered the Smoked Brisket, which was their special. Took a while for the food, but the waitress was very friendly. When we got the food, the Brisket was so dry and tough it literally tasted like leather. I asked for extra sauce (which I never got) to cover up the dryness. When it came time for the bill $40+ for 2, the waitress saw that I hardly ate anything, I told her about the food. She apologized and gave me the bill. So I paid $40 and left hungry and feeling ripped off.

Came in for breakfast. Corned beef hash and hashbrowns were cooked just like I like them. Pancake was okay. My husband's french toast just looked like fried slices of cinnamon bread. Definitely not like any french toast we've ever had. Waitress was okay. Would not come again if we're in the area.

Food here used to be good but now it's bland and tasted like canned gravy and frozen microwaved food. Also, it was over $30 for one adult and 2 kids for breakfast food. I gave 2 stars instead of one because our server was very sweet and did her job well.

Food is decent, staff is very kind. Atmosphere was old diner style with the exception of the guy with the realllllllly loud cell phone. Bathroom is tiny, not wheelchair accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom is not wheelchair accessible, seat is very low and not enough space in the room for a person, let alone a w/c.

Me and my wife stopped by to have breakfast this morning. Started off with coffee and had to ask for sweetener to which we got 4 packets of sweet n low for both. Ordered sausage gravy over biscuits and home fries with a side of bacon. Biscuits sucked and not sure what we got for home fries. Looked like a big potato pancake. Worst breakfast experience ever. Stay away! You've been warned!!!0 stars

The home cut fries have always been amazing. I've never been disappointed by my order here and the coffee is pretty great, too. Very clean. Very efficient.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options and some vegan.Wheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible.

Took 15 minutes before they even asked what we wanted to drink, the silverware had old food on it, we had a drink that had small black specks of dirt in it, the food took another 40 minutes to get delivered (sandwiches), food was good, but after we didn’t tip for poor service, a worker came out and threatened us (in front of a baby too). Definitely do not recommend!

We ate at the bar/restraunt in the back and my wife and I had both really good sandwiches. My wife had a chicken sandwich and I had a beef sandwich with a dipping sauce that was fantastic. The fries were pretty good and service was excellent. The manager came over when were finished and we talked about the meal and he gave us some really good travel tips.

We discovered this place last year while traveling and oh gosh! It's amazing. It's real home cooked food! The service is always excellent, and even though we are from out of town they treat us like family. We now go there every time we are traveling by this area. They also gave us free cake!!!

I ate there today and my waitress was absolutely amazing. She’s new there however hands down the absolute best thing to happen to the restaurant. The girl working with her wasn’t doing hardly anything. Kayla was our waitress I didn’t get her last name however I have never had such an amazing experience with an other waitress. She knows her stuff. Frans has a valuable asset in this girl. She will do nothing but great things for the small restaurant with little structure. I’ll continue to eat there if she’s my waitress.

The bacon & cheese fries were awful, ranch claimed to be made "in house" but that's false. Very run down,awful food,service was okay..do not recommend unless you'd like to leave disappointed. Will not go again. I tried to overlook the dated decor & dust and give this place a chance but definitely not worth it,the kitchen from a glimpse looks like a garage.

Was very amused.... The reviews I read now it sums up why it has a one star. It's a shame that one star is an option if there was Zero stars that would be the option I would give it... I wonder if there is a health department in West Virginia.??.. The bathroom was pretty amazing if you were in a movie that Quentin Tarantino wrote.. there are things I saw on there that I would probably never see again... I think I may have snapped a picture.. I pretty much a donated money to this place because the food was not edible yet the selection of coffee flavors amazed me... But I'd be afraid to even have the water that goes in the coffee... Good luck....and hope you make it out alive.

Was greeted promptly after we chose our booth. The server was polite and curteous and made a fresh pot of coffee, which she kept our cups filled. It was also nice to be able to into a restaurant at 3 in the afternoon and have enjoyable breakfast food served. The food was hot and the sausage gravy had just the right amount of spice. America needs more little diners like this.... And the prices, so very affordable. I'll take full service or fast fat food any day.

Sunday morning breakfast was delicious. The staff is genuine and very nice. I had a eggs & bacon plus a biscuit with mozzarella, grilled green peppers and onions, covered with brown sausage gravy. For most everybody, one biscuit is enough. My lady ate her biscuit with butter and jam.Only reason I listed as four stars, not five is the building - not the most attractive.
