I always take picsof what is offered on the shelf to compare what rings up... the manager refused to give me this sugar for the price that was labeled on the shelf instead wanted to charge me over 6 dollars a bag This is a problem with all Walmarts prices say one thing product rings up another more expensive price.. So frustrating when most the management has no customer service skills andis uneducated in their own system I constantly am taking pics and verbally debating prices when checking out Buyers be ware its not bad enough inflation is through the roof but to have to surveillance price gouging is just so uncalled for .... Like Walmart doent make enough money completely despicable

The store is fine the only downfall is that every time you go in there, they like to harass and follow people around like your only reason of being there is to rob them or something. Not very happy getting followed while i shop. I never spend less than $100 every time i go there so why pick me to follow? Every time i go in there.

I actually enjoyed shopping at a Walmart for the first time in years. The people are super nice, the store was tidy and organized. I'm adding to my review. I actually really like this Walmart. It's always clean and well faced. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. I haven't had any bad experiences.

The pharmacy personnel was great! I was pleasantly surprised. The store was actually a pleasant surprise, too. Helpful associates, easy check out, ease worth finding what we needed.

This is about the Pick-up Service only! Until today, I would be giving 5 stars. All previous visits using the pick-up option have averaged 11 minutes from leaving home until returning home with order! Today, the app didn't notify the store employees that I was parked and ready to receive my order. In all fairness, there is a phone number on the pick-up parking slots to call inside. I have never needed to do so, and I have never noticed the phone number. The loading employees are always friendly and efficient. I prefer the pick-up service to in-store shpping by leaps and bounds. I love people, I do not love Walmart shoppers or employees in the Spencer store.

Worst pick up ever. I've been to many this is the absolute worst.... They are slow and because they are so slow you have to put your orders in way in advance...i definitely would be going somewhere else if there were more options for pick up in that small town.

I was really disappointed today, 5 days before Christmas and nothing was on sale and not much was out to see. I assume their sales were probably down, I always loved Walmart... Just not this close to Christmas.

Changing my rating from a 4 to a 3 for the simple fact that if you plan on going to Walmart, you better make sure you plan with plenty of time because there is no running in and outta there anymore. Trying to get someone to assist you gets pretty annoying. You can never find a worker anywhere near where you need their assistance. You gotta go clear to the other side of the store most times. You're lucky if you even find someone then... Use to be pretty nice with the self checkout, but that's no faster than goin through line anymore really.

Very nice shopping experience, everyone was friendly and helpful. I was riding in one of the handicap carts, the workers and the customers would ask if they could help when I would be looking out of reach. Just love Spencer Walmart.Shout out to the Pharmacy also.

The Walmart in Spencer WV has a smaller store interior like the one where I live, but it seemed to have a better selection. The store was very clean, and this cleanliness carried into the Mens room. The staff that I encountered, during my visit was very polite and helpful. The only reason i did not give this Walmart's location a full 5 stars actyally had nothing to do with anything particularly about it. I deduct one star because of a personal pet-peeve of mine,.....i dont understand why all the Walmarts cant have the exact same layout and design for their products? I know that not every location has the same amount of building space and the products differ from reagion to reagionI just think that the basic layout should match throughout. That way everyone would be able to find everything they need or want without any hassle, and wasted time no matter if they are visiting their hometown's location, or yours, or even mine. I can't speak for everyone but I definitely know I don't want to spend any more time than I have to inside a Walmart.

I shop at walmart at least 5 days a week with my kids and I love how polite the workers are to us every time.Just customer service is poor sometimes when they don't have enough people working.

The Store Manager is extremely understanding and deserves a raise. When I went shopping with my daughter, I didn't know that the store hours had changed and we got locked in after hours, even though the night shift said they had looked for us and couldn't find us. We were just shopping away! Needless to say the manager handled it perfectly, and were sorry you had to get out the bed to let us out!

If we are social distancing or still supposed to be. Why are lines so backed up. Managers need to worry less about controlling labor hours so they get bonuses and more about trying to keep things moving along for their customers.I would use the no contact pickup but there are too many complaints of people getting awful substituted products. And they can choose items of 'greater value' to substitute as well, no thank you a lot of folks shop on a budget.

My experience at Walmart was excellent I had a problem with one piece of merchandise switch I've brought back and the folks were exceptionally nice and exchanging it for one that was okay my experience at the Spencer Walmart is always been very very positive have never had any kind of negative feedback from any employee there recently bought a cell phone and the young lady that handles at was extremely helpful and showing me some of the various features and how to use it we are all just very happy to have Walmart in Spencer West Virginia

The store is laid out in a user friendly manner. The personnel are friendly and helpful! I get my prescriptions filled there and they are timely with that. The store is clean and the items are stocked. They always have fruit and vegetables.

Lazy workers, told a worker that there was no paper towels she said I know, I reported 2 times, service desk denies being told 2 times. Workers not knowing how to work the cash register and openly saying they wasn't taught how to do certain transactions. The Manger with long brownish blonde hair and skinny is very lazy and from what I've seen cut throat to the workers.Any of them see you walk up to them they take off to get out of work, last straw doing a small online order taking hours when they are not busy and rarely get an online order. They aren't equipped to do much there.

What a great store. We like ours in PA but this one was awesome. You can actually find friendly employees to help you! They had everything we needed and the big surprise was Chick-fil-a sauce in squeeze container. Big size! Yay!! Great store!!

Restrooms could be cleaner,most of the associates are friendly. Not very customer centric though. You get the feeling they're only occupying space for a paycheck.

It was clean. Not very busy at all. We went in after he got the traer unloaded. we used the restrooms.which were really nice actually. Friendly. ppl had no problem fi di g amyyhing. Tje displays were nicely done. Thank you Spencer West Virginia its really cool outdide sowhen we walked in the warm air from inside felt great! 👍

When you call the store nobody answers the phone. When they do answer the phone you ask for sporting goods they don't answer the phone. When you use soap check out which I don't like but I never take cash. Upstood right in the store dialed the phone they do not answer even up at the cashier department But I can hear it ring and I just ignore it This is the same in Ripley West Virginia and Spencer West Virginia. Seems like the bigger the store gets the worst of services is. A lot of other people have the same complaint

Well I know with all that is happening in the country today. Hard to get people to work, but thus started before Covid. On 2 check out lines opened with several customers lined up. Walmart Does Not Care about the customer only the bottom line PROFIT! Not the stores, but the Corporation.I know I don't have to shop there, but I believe in supporting the people who work there. I also shop at another nationally brand grocery store that is has the same practice.

Don't try and buy NBA cards at this location. The manager calls his buddy and let's him know when their truck runs so no one else can get any. What happened to one per customer. Not let them have them all!! The manager needs fired!

Walmart supercenter is a very helpful place to shop! Never had a disappointing visit here....they really care!!I visited Walmart in Spencer today, although they are rearranging the aisles, it was still a very good experience. I have not ever had a bad experience there.
