I would usually give 5 stars but on my last visit it was very noticable that the fruit section had been neglected for a while. Found 2 bags of lemons that had mold to the point it had dried some letting off a cloud of mold dust that almost made my daughter sick. I immediately took it to a clerk up front. I seen them over by the fruit and produce about 10 mins later looking.

The management and staff are top notch, and everyone is eager to help. The prices are not like the big box stores, but they aren't unreasonable either. If you are shopping and want a reliable store with great staff, this is where you should consider going.Oh! And they have one of the best gluten-free selections I've seen in the Greater Beckley area.

I'm a food lion fan and always have been. This store is always stocked, smells fresh, looks clean, huge selection of foods, has great customer service and the prices are good, especially if you have the food lion shopper's MVP card. They have cashiers!! I never go to Walmart anymore and food lion is the reason why.

Like foodlion right price and friendly staff always helpful. I was just there 5/25/20, i would just like to say this store is so clean, friendly, and welcoming. I am truly a happy customer. I have shopped at this location fir nearly 20 years and i will always come back. Thank you management and staff, great job!

I was having an already stressful day when I dropped a gallon of milk after paying for it. I offered to clean it up, but the manager Tony Addams was having none of it. Told me not to worry about it, and even refused to allow me to pay for the second gallon. The kindness received was beyond appreciated.

Went there tonight and the manager was very rude to me over my service dog. He's registered online as a service dog for emotional support for my anxiety and for comfort for my autistic daughter. On the way in The door said service animals welcome but he kicked us outta the store.My dog doesn't have it's vest yet but still that shouldn't have mattered and it's just a little chihuahua we carry in our arms. I found that very rude and it upset my daughter's.

You can get in and out quickly. They have all the groceries to keep you supplied. Fast, good customer service. Kroger across the street closed so they are a little busier than they used to be.

Nice place to shop usually not to crowded. A little more expensive but you dont have to fight the crowd. And look close most of the time you can find some pretty good deals. And most of the employees are friendly and helpful.

I love this store the manager is always helpful,talisa cuts our deli meat just right,I'll only order it if shes working. All "cheaper" ground cloves were empty,except the $9.79,but its pumpkin roll season.

I really don't like Food-Lion. Had a bad experience with a manager at Christmas over a Christmas tree. Guess he really didn't like his job cause he sure wasn't nice so figured they let folks like that work there that talk to customers the way he did me. I dont need to give them much of my business. I just happen to be with a friend who stopped there lol

Food Lion is one of the few old fashion supermarket's that has a butcher on duty.Shopping at Food Lion is a relaxing experience. The store is clean and neat and it's shelves are always stocked.The deli is excellent and they also do birthday cake's and party tray's for your special occasions.If you're tired of crowded mega stores and lack of customer service you will really love food lion.The only reason this store isn't rated 5star is it's price's aren't quite competitive enough to suit me. Their pricing is somewhere between Kroger's and Walmart, and I'm a bargain hunter.

Clean, well stocked, just need to keep and eye out for certain employees I was in the bathroom and a older blonde with mid length hair came out of her stall and left.. didnt even wash her hands went up front to see she was a cashier def. Avoided her line

They have deals on some things. Overall things there are a little pricey. (I think) I try to stick to Walmart. I do have to say the foodlion brand has so many things and the price is lower but it is good quality and very close to brand name foods for the most part.

Scary thing to see people at the produce section with out a mask, even when the sign on the door says mask required. The store should crack down on this to help stop the spread of Covid, but they won’t because there pockets are to fat and they don’t care about their customers

Lester sq foodlion has a beautiful meat department! Love this store wish they had a abcc store I'd never go to Kroger again
