Don't bother doing pickup orders here. Manager made a belittling comment, while performing an advertised service (curbside pickup.) Then when my wife and I called and complained to him about his belittling comment on the phone, he maintained that he "wasn't rude." He eventually did apologize, after several minutes of arguing; but a person in a position of management should know their policies and procedures, as well as knowing how to properly speak to others.Making assumptions about others from what you can see while sitting in their car is wholly unacceptable, and then having the GALL to say "we usually only bring out for little old ladies" is. WRONG. If you offer curbside, you offer curbside. Learn your policies, and learn how to speak to people.Walmart pickup and Kroger pickup have never once failed to be polite and appreciative.

Awful management during the evening! Went into the store and the line was backed up all the way to frozen food! They called the “manager” to help on the register and he was absolutely clueless! He couldn’t do anything! I feel so bad for the employees to be under this horrible management. that man needs trained badly, or I feel as though this place will fall apart after 3 pm.

Produce is always rotten. Milk is often expired. Bought a can of Chilli from here and it was full of maggots. Prices are insane compared to every other store in the area.

Small town grocery store that doesn’t carry a lot, but it’ll do in a pinch. It’s not a Wal-Mart and definitely can’t touch their prices but who really can today? It could definitely use a produce department and a little expansion wouldn’t kill them. But more or less it’s got what you need just ad long as your needs are basic and a little overpriced. They do have a great selection of pastries and a few items that you can’t find anywhere else, so there are definitely some pluses. Along with fact that you don’t have to trek it cross country just to get to the only next grocery store

Good for a local market. Usually find good deals on meat. Happy that they carry Fresh Pet refrigerated dog food. Will go back.

Such a sad store! The cashier and bagger were so kind, but so many items were expired; I lost count! There were fried pies in the back end of the store with mold on them, every fried pie. I let the first store employee know that I saw. They said, " Every one?!" I told them yes, but they just shook their head. From what I witnessed the pies weren't pulled. So wonderful that they were taking money for food pantry meal bags, but when many were purchased, they weren't marked, nor was the board. Who knows? Hopefully they were processed correctly and the food pantry receive quality items. I feel bad for anyone who can only make it to this supermarket. Everyone deserves better.

A hit and miss on price. Some items are a steal while others are outrageous. Could use some updating on flooring and shelving. Wonderful staff and service. All and all a decent hometown store to use if you don't want to drive to the city.

Grants iga store is a god send for the Montgomery,WV area it is the only supermarket around. There meat prices are the best around. They are well stocked,so you can find most everything you are looking for.The atmosphere is great.Friendly people willing to please. The only reason I gave grants a 4 star rating instead of 5 star is because I had a run in with a smartelic cashier, but she doesn't work there anymore. If you are from out of town enjoying the area, grants is close by kanawha falls and the new river gorge national Park.

Selections are so so, service is always given with a smile. As with anywhere, comparison shopping is always your best friend.Update 10/31Prices are horrible, selection is poor, employees are.....we'll, less than motivated. Spent 176 bucks and barely got a half a shopping cart, and only about $10 was meat. Sad.

Honestly, the store is really the only option in our small town unless you want to drive 45min to the next nearest grocery store. It has some great workers but the store itself sucks. The food is always out of date or rotten. The prices are almost doubled when compared to the same exact products at Walmart. A carton of eggs is over $5. A small container of berries is $6 (the same container at Walmart is $3). Overall I don’t recommend shopping at this store, stretch your dollar and go to the Quincy Walmart instead.

Clean as a pin. Fast and friendly personnel. Prices are very competitive with other stores.Just came from there again and it is a great store. I reccomend it very highly. It is no pricier than any other store and their meat can not beat anyplace.

I love this store and the meat prices are unbelievably low for the quality given. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because some of the employees keep saying Kroger didn't sell this or stock that but the last I checked Kroger left our community and Grant's proudly opened a new store in their name not their competitorsI asked numerous times to stock X brand that they carry in all of their other stores and I have yet to see it and in the coffee section they have a coffebeen grinder but no coffee beans and every time I ask if they will stock it I get told Kroger never sold it either but Kroger never even stocked their shelves unless you begged and the way I see it if Grant's employees want to run it like Kroger then Grant's will be filling bankruptcy soon. I visited the Oak hill store and everyone there tries to make their customers happy all of the time and none of them say that I'd be better off going to Kroger or Walmart.

Love my local Grant's grocery store. Please if at all possible can you try to get some more vegan and vegetarian options. I would love to see some meat replacement items available that are fresh. If you are looking for a good place to shop for groceries check them out.

I like Grants. It's great to have a local grocery, and they provide nearly everything you need. But my on-line ordering experience THIS TIME was terrible. The saving grace was the manager, Debbie, who is just great! Keep Debbie, give her a raise, and hopefully get a new crew that will stay and work.

It's no Krogers for sure. But overall it's okay. Prices are definitely proof that there is no other grocery store within 10 miles except the dollar store. Staff is always friendly.

The workers are incredible but that doesn't make up for the fact that their prices skyrocketed during the pandemic and they still haven't lowered them. The produce section leaves much to be desired, the potatoes and onions are often going bad. I stuck my finger through several onions and the prebagged salads always have brown lettuce in them. They sold out their pharmacy business to C.V.S. which disappointed SO many folks. I don't think Grant's will be open for another to years, greed will take them down.

This store used to be a Krogers for decades.Grateful to have it as a Grant's, otherwise this area would be considered a food desert.Just wish it would have more variety in the frozen produce, dairy, and meat sections. Also, to only have one checkout line open at 6:30pm with a line 7 deep, just not customer friendly.

Compare to Kroger's and other grocery stores nearby. In my opinion their prices are marked up at least $3.00 higher; which includes cheaper price of their same products at their sister store. Most recently I shopped outer isles 4 bags ( not full) over 60.00. My income I can't afford to do a full monthly grocery list.

If you like small local grocery stores and not large corp stores this is a good place , prices are slightly higher than what Kroger or Walmart would be
