Never have we been so happy to arrive somewhere and have it be nothing like we expected. We were looking for a flower shop for fresh flowers (something Windward actually does, but that’s just a sliver of what they offer).This place was quaint and adorable, and just perfect for the family. Our little guy got to feed ducks, pet goats, and sit on a tractor. The farm store with gift shop has really great, unique gift options.We enjoyed chatting with the owners. They’re super nice and love their farm, which just makes the experience that much more enjoyable.We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area, and will be sure to recommend to others!

This little farm store is so unique. If you in Shepherdstown area you have to visit the store. The scenery is like from a movie, it’s so charming and guineas and ducks greeted us. You can find gift items, lotions, soaps, wreaths, flowers, eggs, fresh meat, etc… we bought duck eggs, lotion and soap. The soap and lotion smells wonderful.

BACHELORETTE GOAT YOGA PARTY! Yep, mimosas/ tea party in the beautifully decorated bin and goat yoga! Definitely the most unique Bachelorette party I've ever been to. Misha was worried because it rained that day, but honestly we were having to much fun to care. It was a: It's raining and I'm slightly cold but I'm tipsy, hanging out with goats, laughing at my friends until my sides hurt good time! And just for the record there was an option for the barn but we were having to much fun to go in. Definitely recommend. Misha was awesome to work with and I will definitely be back!

Windward Farm is magical and the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding. Misha & Reed provide stellar and unparalleled service. With the bulk of the wedding party geographically dispersed, most of the local coordination fell on Misha, and she handled all requests with grace and compassion to help my son and new daughter-in-law realize the wedding of their dreams. I cannot accurately describe my gratitude for her work and attention to detail at Windward and the reception venue.I would absolutely recommend holding any event at Windward!

Quintessential Countryside Bliss at Windward by Lost AcreI had the immense pleasure of spending my Sunday at Windward by Lost Acre for the time-honored tradition of the Blessing of the Hounds, marking the opening of the season's hunt. It was a heartwarming and spirited event that brought together the elegance of tradition with the vibrant community spirit. After watching the magnificent departure of the hounds, horses, and riders, we were treated to an extraordinary hunt country brunch.The catering by Alma Bea was nothing short of exceptional, with a selection that delighted all the senses. Moreover, the open bar was stocked with a fantastic array of beverages that perfectly complemented the meal. All of this was set within the historical charm of the James Marshall Byron House, whose ambiance is as rich in character as it is in history.Windward by Lost Acre has truly outdone themselves, offering an experience that felt both luxurious and warmly familiar. It was an unforgettable day that celebrated not only the traditions of the hunt but also the joy of community and dining. I am already looking forward to the next event at this splendid venue. Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in a unique and upscale country experience.

Misha and Reed were amazing, with a limited timeline to plan a wedding and even more limits on time to meet in person, they were able to pull off our dream wedding! The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, with its historic house, large fields, and beautiful driveway, I could not recommend Windward enough for hosting weddings and other special events.

We went for a visit to chat about rabbits and goats... we ended up leaving with 8 bars of soap and a bottle of lotion. All the soaps smelled so good it was hard to pick just a few for gifts and of course ourselves. The kids had to each pick their own too, we are loving them so far. They don't dry out our skin, and haven't gotten all soft and gummy like so many bar soaps I have tried. We will totally be getting more.

Finding Lost Acre Homestead was one of the brightest parts of my summer! Michaela packages everything beautifully, and picking up my eggs from her beautiful porch is a fun little experience/outing for me and my kids. The eggs are big, beautiful, and boast brightly colored yolks.... All at an affordable price! I can't wait to get a bottle of their lotion!

Lost Acre Homestead is a little hidden gem in Round Hill. They have a nice variety of items like homemade goats milk lotions (which my family from out of state asks me to send them), beautiful bouquets, delicious veggies and of course fresh eggs. Honestly the best (gigantic) radishes I’ve ever had. I love everything here!

I love the Lost Acre Homestead soaps!I have purchased the Plane Jane and the Coal (peppermint) soaps. These soaps are very refreshing, make my skin feel clean and smooth and have a lasting foam over time. The scents are mild and pleasant and not overwhelming.I have been purchasing artisan soaps for many years, and have determined the quality of these soaps to be some of the best soaps I have ever purchased.These are highly recommended!Donna

Misha, farm owner, is absolutely amazing. She makes the most wonderful jewelry, lotions, and soaps. I’ve been getting the bounty box from her fame and everything is outstanding. The lotions and soaps added to the box are such a lovely treat!

The owners recognize that, besides the product, customer service earns and maintains patronage. they want to share their love for their farm with you!Price / selection: 5 out of 5. Beyond eggs and vegetables, there's always a wide variety of products, including baked goods, but are excellent. Prices are fair and, oftentimes cheaper than what you would pay for artisanal, small farm products that you purchase at the grocery store.Product: 5 out of 5. All of their food is delicious! We have yet to try anything that wasn't excellent!Long story short: if you want to support a local small business who genuinely wants to share their love and passion with you, look no further than Lost Acre Farm!
