Oh my goodness, I had no idea this place existed until a friend and I visited today with our children! Excellent customer service, wonderful welcoming environment! Loved the food and desserts display! I bought the coconut cupcake, lemon cupcake, the sausage & mozzarella roll and 2 bottles of chocolate milk, everything was DELICIOUS! Absolutely DELICIOUS! Fresh and DELICIOUS! We will definitely be back!

Was my first time experience visiting from out of town and was not disappointed one bit! Very nice selection of sweet and savory baked goods along with some hot and cold beverages. The staff member was very nice and sweet, helping explain the most popular options, along with some of her favorites. I opted for a blueberry cream cheese Danish and a coffee cake with buttercream and ate even the crumbs since they were absolutely delicious! I cannot wait to return and try some of their cakes and savory treats, like a yummy looking quiche I spotted! A must try!

Very cute bakery. Extremely busy, and for good reason. Their cinnamon rolls are delicious, and I also enjoyed the glazed croissant. The place was very busy and hard to tell where to line up and who was in line already. Prices were great. Highly recommend.Parking: Had to park on side street, no open spots on main drag on a Saturday. Paid meter street parking Monday thru Friday.

I called this bakery to celebrate a birthday. When I called I asked for a very specific cake, and it was re-told SEVERAL times how many people it would be feeding. 8. It had to be said at least 4 times as well as all my other information as she didnt seem to be understanding. I emailed a picture as requested, got no response back or confirmation. This bakery is an hour away from me, but I wanted to go as i prefer mom pop businesses to support. I was told it would be ready by 9am, but didn't get a call until 11. When I arrived it was about the size of my fist. They said they charged me the right price, but "wrote the wrong size" and I would have to wait 3 hours to fix it. Now I'm left scrambling on someone's birthday.DO NOT order over the phone OR email them. It's a DISASTER.

Service was very friendly. It is a cute bakery. I’m a little bit picky when it comes to bake goods. I question the cannolis and danish were fresh the day we bought them. It didn’t bother my kids, they loved them anyways.

We love to try out new bakeries on our weekend adventures. Unfortunately, this was a big let down. Stopped by on a Saturday morning and the shelves were almost empty. The pastry case was approximately 1/3 stocked. Ordered an assortment of danishes and cookies. The cookies had zero taste, no flavor at all. The danishes, well, the grocery store has better. I'd be a little skeptical on these 5 stars reviews.

I love the Sweets Shop!!! Their confections are perfection!!! My honey & I go to the Shepherdstown Sweets Shop every time we go on adventures in their area... it's a ritual. Their triple chocolate cake is beyond delicious & my honey took great delight in their chocolate glazed doughnuts. They also have local sodas, milk & freshly brewed coffee on hand, among many other drinks... as well as a plethora of delicious treats & food. If you're in Shepherdstown you've got to check them out. I'd give them 10 stars if I could 😁

We recently purchased 4 dozen cupcakes for a baby shower. They were absolutely fabulous and a big hit with the ladies. The best cupcakes i have ever had. Thank you so much !!!! Yall never disappoint . Your cakes are great too

Wow. Come on when you hear “good” things but then you get “great foods” you’re like WOW, but it wasn’t WOW it was TWICE the wow that you could ever expect from tasting baked goods. How do they make it taste that good? A shout out for their specially made Carroll’s stout cheesecake to be found at the Bavarian brothers brewing( Bavarian Inn) nearby but made by The Shepherdstown Sweet shop bakery. Kudos to that creation.

The Sweet Shop made my wedding cake, and I have to say it looked AND tasted amazing! It fit our winter wonderland theme perfectly and there were less than 10 slices left by the end of the night. Everyone loved it! Thanks for helping to make our day memorable and perfect!

Very 'sweet' place to visit due to choice of bakery items. Outside seating available. ( I am a slight 'sensitive' so the history of the building did affect me so I couldn't spend much time inside ) Employees are friendly, place is clean.

Absolutely love this place! Been going for the last 10+ years and the service is always been great! The food is delicious, my favorites are the eclairs and egg salad croissants. Definitely one of my favorite spots to grab lunch and/or a sweet treat for later!

I asked Megan to recreate my parents wedding cake to celebrate their 50th anniversary. We were so pleased with the moist almond cake and white icing. The details were perfect having only been given a couple of photos of the cake. The icing was perfect--not too sweet, which often happens (mounds and mounds of sickening sweet icing--ugh). Thank you so much for making this delicious cake for their special day.

It is the best place I found. I put on muscle at 61years old. Lost 10 pounds .down from 165 to 155 since last January when I joined . Have not missed a day yetI have classes everyday except Sunday. My diabetes is gone no meds my blood pressure is under control for the first time. Also in the next month I plan to. Accomplish my weight goal of 145 from 150,which the Fitbit scale says I currently weigh. My morning routine is one lap around the track,a half hour of rowing ,weight lifting,another run around the track a half hour of exercise bike at level ten, shower go to exercise class walking and repeat ever day except Saturday.

Rude staff, would only offer plan cakes and cup cakes for my wedding. When I called to check on the order, they stated that they made them more than 24 hours before I was scheduled to pick them up. When I did pick them up, they tasted awful and plain! I will NEVER buy anything from them ever again! What a waste of money!

So, today I ate the best stollen that i have ever had in my life. I do not personally know anything about your bakery ,but someone from my church brought one in for us to have with our coffee during fellowship time. We all devoured it quickly. It was sooo good. I snatched up the card that was laying beside it in hopes that you all ship to Missouri.

Pam and the team at Shepherdstown Sweet Shop made our wedding cake and it was absolutely phenomenal. Incredible flavor and a perfect match to our decor and wedding feel. The communication was easy, we knew what to expect, and meeting with Pam in person and tasting the different flavors confirmed that we made the right choice for our wedding. The guests loved the cake too and we were able to offer dairy-free, gluten-free, and various flavors.Great bakery to work with and would recommend them for any wedding.

I was so excited to go to this bakery. I wanted to love it.I purchased an assortment of baked goods for my family.First my husband tried a lemon coconut bar he said it was ,”okay “.Then my daughter and I tried the baklava, it was soggy. That was weird, It should be sticky not wet.Then my daughter and tried a cupcake with an Oreo cookie on top. She was immediately disappointed and said it tasted like a box mix cake and the icing tasted like shortening.I tried the cinnamon crunch cake and it tasted like a box mix of spice cake.There was more to try but I wasn’t even interested.
