**OCT 23 UPDATE**Rude staff, as always. Refused to honor the sale they were having. I responded to the worker with “I’m not paying $12 for apples.”As usual, this place has the worst management I’ve ever witnessed in the first world.**OCTOBER ‘22 UPDATE. I really hate this place**Rude employees lying to me about what time the store closes (they kicked me out at 11:30pm; they’re open until midnight) and unwilling to help in anyway. Figure your staff out. Or hire more competent management. Terrible experience.**MAY ‘22 UPDATE**I emailed a formal complaint via the Kroger website about the plant issue. The site said I would get a reply in 48 hours. I didn’t.I got an automated email saying they were behind on responding to complaints.A couple days later I was emailed and asked to complete a survey.I told them in the first email that I would rather address this problem directly than post a public Google review.>>But they never responded! So here’s the review! -You have a floral department. It’s Spring.Why do your plants look like the ones I posted here? Obviously understaffed. Still.I am not the only person with this complaint. You obviously opened this store, that’s twice the size of the old one, and didn’t hire more people. If you did, it certainly wasn’t enough. Things are messy, disorganized, poorly stocked, placed incorrectly, and now you’re torturing the houseplants you sell. WALMART HAS HEALTHIER HOUSEPLANTS.Now that’s embarrassing.(Original review, after store opening):If someone is coughing their head’s off then maybe management should suggest for them to wear a mask or leave the store.TL;DR: I wish I could give this Kroger 0 stars. Pitiful management on all fronts.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I cannot tell when walking in this store if I am in a Dollar General or a Kroger. The store is dirty and unorganized. Shelves are always empty, customer service is nonexistent, and the last six (6) visits there hasn’t been a single shopping cart inside the store. I’ve had to go back out to the parking lot each time to fetch a cart. I do not understand how a brand new store has let the standards fall so low. As bad as I hate it - I do the bulk of my grocery shopping at WalMart now. Only shop this location for last minute items for dinner. I would love to see this location turn around. Could be such a nice store if it were ran properly.

Just another place added to the watch list for added charges. Yes, it's pennies compared to the cost of groceries these days, but the fact remains that I was charged more than the posted price. Yes, I used my Kroger card for the discounted price. I did try going to customer service to no avail. I waited over ten minutes with employees all around the area, some waiting with me and one other guest. I gave up. They won the tip money today.

Generally well stocked, friendly staff, clean store. Big shoutout to Kevin at the self checkout. He assisted with bagging my groceries as I scanned them and did a superb job. Attentive, competent, and fantastic,efficient customer service. Give that man a raise!

Came here to return some milk bottles. But their all was available when they want to take my money but never one. I want to get some back. Their customer service counter is closed... At 4:00 p.m. on a Friday.... Very disappointing Kroger. I guess I'll continue doing most of my grocery shopping at Walmart since you guys suck so far

I went to the pharmacy via the drive thru on 2/14/24 at about 530pm, and the lady that waited on me was super helpful, and had a friendly smile. Thank you for excellent customer service. I was in here this past Sunday and the man behind me was allowed to ridicule me. Starting that i was fat and did not need groceries only because he was in a hurry. I was bagging my items after doing the self check out and not one person tried to diffuse him. Shame on you, Kroger!

What can I say? It's a grocery store. Excellent produce, deli/bakery selections are good, there's a Starbucks and pharmacy. It's one of the newer Kroger stores in my area and I shop there weekly

Well of course I missed a digital coupon and the self check outs kept having problems and one clerk trying to take care of several of them running him to death I think there was only 2 clerk ran registers I guess we have to learn to live with it would not want the executives to do with out anything.

Amazing! What other grocery store has a mural?! This store is like a small city, the biggest grocery store in the state perhaps. Loads of items in every conceivable category. Not nearly enough staff to handle the amount of shoppers, though. Otherwise I would have awarded 5 stars.

Just walked out after waiting in line for 20 mins all because the cashier had screwed up checking a guy out. They refused to open another register and there were at least 10 people behind me. I had 2 full buggies and there is no way I'm gonna self check out that much stuff. They need to hire some people and managers.

I'm not bagging my own groceries or using the self checkout. I am not an employee. Ridiculous they only have one register open. They need to hire more cashier's (that aren't elders). Also fruit and veggies aren't any good.

Of ALL the Krogers we go to, this is the MOST unfriendly place ever!! I hate going to customer service. If they would stop making errors and change the sales tags on time, I wouldn’t have to visit that service desk. SMH

Here's the thing about the Kroger Deli. Their food is decent prices. But, it closes super early sometimes. So, it is good for lunch and picking up a few grocery items to be efficient. But, if you are going for dinner, the food is just deli sandwiches in the evening. The difference with lunch is that there is always fried chicken and sides to choose from. It's a good price for a meal too, in addition to being delicious. The fried chicken reminds me of mom and pop restaurant food. Likely the sides are just those items from the grocery, but still good. Overall, if you can catch it, get the fried chicken meal. But, there are always some leftover fired chicken to take home from being made earlier in the day! ;)

Store can't keep up with population. On weekends you can never get sale items as they are always sold out and can't restock items . Update the store continues even of Friday evening to not have a high percentage of the items they advertise

The fancy kroger done went ghetto. No toilet paper in any of the women's stalls... so when the putnam psd has issues, make sure they know kroger is providing brown paper towels in the stalls and no actual toilet paper. Tammy really needs to get it together over there!

The pharmacy doesn’t answer their phones. Produce is molded. I shouldn’t have to ring up my own groceries. I don’t work there. I also don’t think that a 75 year old woman should be working the cash register especially when they could hire younger people. This place is really sad. Disgusting actually.

Not very busy at this time of night, & was able to go inside & select the items I needed in a quick fashion, without any incidents, & use the self- checkout registers, with no wait time & exit the store in less than 15-20 minutes.The only issue I found problems with, was while checking out, at the near end of my transaction, I had 4 coupons, & I had to wait about 6-8 minutes on a cashier to come to the front to manually apply my coupons credit to my subtotal, because the self-checkout registers do not allow the customer to enter in coupons or any type of discount code, which I found to be time consuming.

Deli guy was super nice and helpful,it was closing time for the deli and the worker could have said sorry come back tomorrow but he didn't do that. He had already cleaned up the machine and area but he still helped me out and cut my meat and cheese for me. I didn't get his name but Sir I am very greatful to you for your kindness and your help that evening...folks try out Kroger of teays valley WV
