Salem Apple Butter Festival

I was a member of the festival committee this year. We had a great time! This year we had a 5k, bicycle poker ride, cornhole tournament, horseshoe tournament, a carnaval, a greased pig contest, tons of vendors, a pet show, live entertainment, a parade, a quilt show, a baking contest, and, of course, the pageants and plenty of good old fashioned Apple Butter! Best of all, it's great community of friendly people having fun together.Btw, we were voted best festival of Harrison County in 2022.

It was a beautiful festival nestled in a great little town in WV. My Girfriend and I had a great time loking around and she even got to stir the apple butter being made on site.

Lots of fun activities and amazing local art. The food is expensive but that's expected. The kettle corn is amazing!!!

The Apple Butter Festival in Salem WV was the best thing ever to go to this year 2022.Way better than the Mannington Fair in Wv.The Apple Butter Festival was affordable, great venders of all kind. Meeting Jim Cambell from the festival that was walking around was very nice.The Mannington Fair needs to take some lessons.A special thanks to everyone that coordinated the festival.

There is No Admission Charge to the Festival and it is a Drug and Alcohol FREE EVENT featuring Spicy apple butter slowly simmered over an open fire, Canned to take home right on the spot.

Great community event,good programs,Apple Butter is great.I would add a children's carnival to add fun and memories.The volunteers are awesome and very hard working to benefit the community .

Large flea market but highly entertaining and a quick way to kill a few hours and get some food. Entertainment is free and mostly good.
