This is my beautiful baby boy I got the other day from Doddridge County humane society. He is the most affectionate little sweet face on earth at 8 months old!!! I am so glad I have him in my life and he is like a kid curious about everything!! Thank you to the great staff that worked there.

Dogs and cats are all spayed and neutered. Dog adoption fee is $75 and cats are $25.

This is a poorly run business and have had many rude encounters with them. Most recently, was told a dog would be held for me since they dont take cards for deposits and they did not have any applications for me to fill out when I came to see her. I left my name and number for them to call me if they had any questions. I was told I couldnt take her anyway because her stiches needed to come out in a couple days. Got a call the next day, 24 hours before we were going to get the dog, saying another family is ON THEIR WAY to put a deposit down on her at 4pm. I was told I needed to be there before 3pm to put a deposit because they close at 3. Being a college student my classes wouldnt allow me to do so driving 1.5 hours. So insted of calling me to let me know they need a deposit to hold her or this other family would take her, they denied me the common courtosy of giving me time to put a deposit on the sweet girl. Insted they called me to tell me that they were giving her to another family, although "first come first serve" is what I was told. So I was there first and and the other family got served. Besides the monetary loss I encoured buying all the dog supplies. My heart is broken not being able to take care of the sweet dog they had. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. VERY rude people running it and working there.
