Ok, first off I want to say I was skeptical of going here cause it's a little off the beaten path. But I am glad I did. They have a great selection of hair bands and heavy metal albums all being vintage mixed in with a large selection of new. The staff was nice and the record shop cat(Joker) was beyond helpful in assisting me in going through the records. Awesome place I will be going back.. I want to go through the back room and sift through all the boxes of records I seen stacked back there.

Google maps had a odd location listed for the store though the street was correct. The store is in an old repurposed church.It is a decent sized record store with a large backstock and a HUGE online inventory that is different from what is available in store. The couple that owns the store is extremely kind and more than happy to make recommendations or talk about records in general. They host area events from record swaps to painting old unplayable records as art.This place will definitely become a frequent stop for us.

Nice to have a little shop in Morgantown. It’s about what you’d expect, probably a little better. Selection is OK, prices are fair, owner and his wife are super friendly and very willing to help all customers. Great shop. Wishing you guys the best of luck. Thanks!

I have always been treated very well there. I am not sure why anyone wouldn't absolutely adore this place. You don't go here if you're expecting all of the new stuff in every genre. This isn't what this place is about. This is the place where you find that hard to find album you've been searching for. There have been a few times when I walked in there and the owners recognized me and my quest to find Ah Via Musicom. They are looking for me and I know I am in good hands. I am always happy to make a trip down there to see what new items they have. They have an area where you can check out the albums before you by them with supplied cleaning solution which by the way works pretty well. I always feel welcome there and it is fun to introduce new folks to. If you're looking for a good place for vinyls to get that crisp sound, this is the place for you.

This is hands down the best place to pick up records. They have an unusual collection that makes it almost impossible to leave without finding something you can't live without. Prices are reasonable, and everything is in wonderful shape. The owners are personalable and amazing to work with.

I am a power wheelchair user and much to my dismay, I cannot get in. But muy husband went there forRecird Store Day this year and was very impressed. He is a major record collector and knows his stuff. This is a hidden gem in the tiny town of Reivesville, WV. If you like records GO!

I like this store a lot. They converted and old church into a record store. They do cool music and record related events in the area. It's a real gem of the community. Check it out of you are in the area.

Assumption has a great selection of records from Dollar bin cheapies to reasonable used records and new remastered/rereleased versions. Be sure to ask if you do not see what you are looking for as the have a huge collection of lps in the back.Only minus is their lack of Leo Sayer records.
