Enjoyed lunch at Asbury’s following our cavern tour. The sandwiches were really good as well as the homemade chips and sweet potato fries. Kimberly was our server and she was awesome. Kimberly, although she was extremely busy never made us wait and was friendly and very attentive.Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t believe the restaurant or the Cavern tour is handicapped accessible.

We got there and wasn't sure if it was even open. We had the place to ourselves. Very beautiful scenery. I took some awesome time-lapse of rain coming over the mountains. My boyfriend ordered the trout and I the pheasant. Both were delicious. I have never seen pheasant in a restaurant before so that was different for me. Charming place, although I do think it is closer to 5 miles off the main road and not 3.5. 😁🤙

This is an absolute must go when you are in the area the drive will set you in the mood and once you get there and experience the view and the flavors of the food nothing can stop you from coming back. The Black Angus steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'm not talking about a premix seasoning you can taste fresh herbs and vegetables that are not over or under cooked. The salad that comes with the meal was phenomenal nothing beats a good fresh crisp mix lettuce bowl with cherry tomatoes cucumbers red onions and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.

Great Place to eat near Seneca CavernsThis restaurant is only open from Apr 1 - Oct 31. This site is located along WV 9 several miles down two lane roads. There is a fairly large parking lot around that is the center of a family style restaurant, a gift shop and a restroom building. The caverns tours are seasonal so check their site and the date to make sure that they are open. We were lucky and got on one of the last cavern tours for the season on Halloween. We had to wait a while before the tour started. At that time the tours ran about every hour and take about an hour. You leave to go underground on one side of the restaurant and come up on the other side of the building. There are some other activities but we decided to try the restaurant. It is a lovely place with real silverware and great staff. The view out the main window was across hills covered with the beautiful fall colors of the changing leaves. We ordered 2 drinks and snacks while waiting for our tour. I am glad we stopped by to try this place for the food, staff and view. Service was a little slow but the food was good and the staff were exceptionally nice. I enjoyed the restaurant and recommend it for my fellow travelers.

This was a gem of a find!!! Their menu is so unique to find in the middle of nowhere!!!! Thomas, our waiter was great and very knowledgeable about the area. Portions are large and delicious. Amazing view. We will definitely be back when in the area.Parking: Parking lot

Food was surprisingly quite good! We were the only customers in the whole restaurant and we actually weren't sure if they were open but they were. We had fried chicken sandwiches, homemade chips, fries and catfish poeboy. Only complaint was the chicken was a bit dry and a big chunk of breast which was awkward to eat. After a hefty hike this was a nice treat.

We waited 40+ minutes in a near empty (very warm and stuffy) restaurant, had to ask for more water (was not offered) and didn't love the food. We finally recieved our food with cool soggy fries, cold chicken wings (that had sauce dispite asking for them without sauce) and the most awful looking, bland and disappointing Bleu cheese burger! (2 people in my group had good food-not great but good).The views were beautiful and the restaurant was very cute and very clean feeling (just not air conditioned).

Tucked away near Seneca caverns, this unassuming restaurant doesn't have the look or feel of a nice restaurant. Greeted by an ice cream case and plastic tables, I wasn't expecting much, but with limited options in the area, figured why not.I had the steak with wild rice and Brussels sprouts. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection, the Brussels sprouts crispy and flavorful, and the rice creamy and delicious. My husband had the pheasant, and my son had the pan seared chicken. We all left full and very happy.Don't let the ambiance fool you: this place is the real deal.

So glad we came here for our after hike dinner. Highly recommend the local trout dinner! The onion petals and their sauce were very good. We shared three desserts and they were all fantastic! I will say the gravy on the baked steak and mushroom meal was a little odd. But all the other foods were awesome!

The fryer is hot, the oil is clean, the location is gorgeous. I wish they served beer, but what are you gonna do? We had a nice lunch here while waiting for our cave tour, which was also very cool.

This place has the best homecooked food! Our waitress was so kind. The food is absolutely delicious (especially their fried green tomatoes). Inside the restaurant is very well kept and inviting. If you have the chance, eat on the front porch. The view is unbelievable.

Great homecooked food in a peaceful and gorgous setting. We always stop in after a long day of hiking. It's tucked away nearly hidden in the Germany valley. Sweet staff, and hearty eats. (I recommend the roast beef and some of the best sweet tea.) Also relax with a game of cornhole or horseshoes to let your food settle. On your way out stop and pay your respects to a fallen hero, Clinton Headrick, who posthumously recieved the Medal of Honor during World War II. You won't forget your time as Ashbury's.

I was expecting this remote restaurant on the entry road to the Seneca Caverns to be bad, but I was happily wrong. Unassuming and friendly, Asbury's offers great comfort food - great burgers, onion rings and sandwiches.

Had some coffee with low expectations, and it was okay, tried the peach cobbler and it tasted store bought. The waitress came off as rude, didn’t really appreciate that.
