After calling all over Parkersburg and surrounding areas with no luck of getting my kitty looked at my sister in law referred me here. When I called the sweet lady that answered which I later found out was Dr. Shockey’s wife was willing to stay open late so my little guy could be seen. Upon arrival Dr. Shockey immediately got us in and out professionally and without breaking the bank. Highly recommend this place, very sweet and genuine people.

My furbaby was sick and they did everything they possibly could to save her. And when there was no hope instead of continuing and causing her and my wallet to suffer he told me with deep apologies that she was tired and ready to go. It was hard but they handled it so well. I got to sit with her alone in a side room and hold her and talk with her just her and I and I said my goodbyes and when I was ready to end her pain he very gently yet quickly gave her a shot and she instantly went to sleep. The tech and the secretary and all other employees were so kind and comforting to me. I will take all my animals to Shockey. They love what they do and they know what they're doing. And they won't drain your wallet like others I've been to. Highly recommend.

Good vets and they keep an open schedule for their customers. I've had bad experiences in the Past trying to get into see a vet for an emergency in the entire tri-state area and finding nobody so, this factor is very important in my consideration. They're nice people too. A nice little homey vets office. Totally recommend.

Our vet had retired and we were worried about finding someone as good to replace our recent.. This Vet at town and country is the absolute best!!. I was so thankful to find him. He's the best!.Very few if any Vets left like him and his staff. God bless.

When our regular vet seemed indifferent to a severe health crisis one of our dogs was experiencing Town and Country made time to see her. They continued to provide care whenever necessary and helped us through the difficult process of losing her. I can't say enough good things about the way we and our dog were treated and the empathy they showed through a difficult outcome.

I love my vet! They always try to fit you in as soon as possible when you call. They will call you back if you have tried and didn't get your call answered right away. They have done wonders with my elderly German shepherd. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else!

Our dog fell off the couch and wasn't eating, drinking or moving much. I didn't know what exactly he injured cause he was just lethargic. I called and they could see him in an hour. The visit was seemless and I have neverbeen so impressed with a veterinarian's observation and immediate attention to every detail. All I could say when I got back into my car with my son and with our sweet "Teddy" was Wow! Thank you from the Wilkes family to yours.

I needed a place quick to take my cat. I called everyone in the area, including my regular vet and no one would even attempt to get her in. I called this vet and they got her worked in later in the evening. They provided great care and were so kind. Absolutely recommend them to anyone that needs a quick, component, and kind vet and staff.

They were nice enough to get me a trash bag and a box to put my puppy in because she passed away as we were pulling in their parking lot. But me and my daughter were bawling historically and they made us put our little guy in the bag n box by myself. So tht REALLY upset me!!!

Courteous and fast. We have taken several pets here for surgeries, checkups and illnesses. They are considerate, kind and very informative of what they are doing. The costs have been much lower than I expected normally. Update: Took another 2 cats in, my original review still stands.

Unfortunately we had to put our pupper to sleep. However the vet here is very straightforward in helping us to make the best decision for our dog. Do you ever want to have to do this? No. But unfortunately you have to eventually.

I didnt know about this vet until I was trying desperately to find someone to take in My dog that had been ran over after being turned away by all the other vets I found town and country Vet and I am so glad that I did! They were very comforting and honest at the same time! Our outcome is not what we wanted but Dr. Shockey did his best and they were very comforting when time to put My boy to sleep! They are wonderful people and I'll definitely be taking my other furbabies to them as well!
