They never have sale items that are advertised and when you approach the employees they are either too rude or lazy to help in any way. I would not recommend using this Kroger. Save yourself the frustration and use the Kroger in Athens

The staff are professional and always helpful. Prices are good on many things. Better meat department than Walmart for sure. The deli meats are always fresh

The Delaware Krogers always has fresh produce and usually well stocked. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful when needed. The prices are competitive during mega event savings. Overall good place for your household needs.

The guy at self-checkout was a really big help. He helped me with getting the Kroger App on my phone. I didn't know anything about the app once I installed it. I ended up saving $11.00

The only place I like to shop for food. But, they run out of things too often these days. Kroger brand food is better than the name brand foods. The best meats in town.

I use to really like Kroger until I stopped by today to grab a couple of items quickly on a whim. The couple of items I got had digital coupon signs marked on them and I didn't have them downloaded to my card yet when I went to self checkout I showed the cashier pics I took of the sales tag saying it was marked down with a digital coupon and she replied I can no long take those off but u can step out of line and download them to ur card if u would like... 🤬 since when did they not fix a price for their customers 🤔 my thoughts... that's rude I'm a paying customer and things are expensive enough these days and what if i was an elderly person or handy-capable person that didn't know how to download digital coupons. What is this world coming to where you're local FAMILY ORIENTED grocery store that refuse to help their customers save money but they want us to come back to their store and spend our hard earned money. B/S

I was stranded at their gas station after locking my keys in my car and two of their employees literally saved me! I didn't have my phone (it was locked in the car) and the police only offered to smash my window out to retrieve my key. Instead, one of the women who worked there called around, found a company to come unlock the door, and even offered me her jacket while we waited because it was freezing outside. Their staff was so nice, accommodating, and got me back on the road within an hour. If I hadn't been for them, I wouldn't have been able to find someone to get my keys, and I honestly have no idea what I would've done. I cant say enough good things about how well I was treated by Ashley and Ethan.

Wonderful staff everything is fresh and the environment feels very welcoming. The store seems a bit large and lower traffic comparatively to other Kroger stores. Also I would have to say that their Clicklist team does a very good job getting your orders to you on time and they are very friendly, Courteous, and genuine.

Their new parking lot configuration makes it aggravating to get in, parked and back out for vehicles over certain sizes. I honestly don't stop there as often as I did because of the parking situation. I don't want to shop very long there because I'm worrying about my vehicle getting swiped because it doesn't fit in their spots and 3-4 ft, is sticking out of the allotted space.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful at Kroger. The store mainly sells food and products that are for food. Such as ingredients, whisks etc., cooking sprays etc., and foil pans and some real. They also sell gifts, make up, and some lawn ornaments. Their Deli is nice and clean. Good place to shop.

I usually have no problems , my meds are ready, and they have a good selection of things ,but they can't seem to keep certain kinds of bottled pop, sodas, on the shelves . We like the black cherry bottled pop, but they don't have it , so I have to go elsewhere to get it .

I feel like a fool wearing a mask when so many didn't wear one.I paid cash but yet they had no coin to give me? A huge store like Kroger can't find change for business dealings? I smell a rat!I will make sure to buy my stuff before my many visits to the area.

😡 I don't think I'll EVER come back to Kroger's in Ripley, WV and shop again! The guy in the meat department cut 4 steaks for me since I didn't like the few that was in the cooler and I decided not to get them and laid them back in the cooler since I didn't like those ones either. About five minutes later, here comes that same guy walking past the aisles looking for me. I was almost at the end of the baking aisle and he was at the beginning of it and yelled at me; 'change your mind on the steaks' and I politely said yes. Then hatefully he says 'so I just cut them for nothing'(keep in mind, another customer was standing in between me and him in the middle of the aisle) and then just storms off. The steaks were mostly fat and what looked like gristle and I decided I'd just get them somewhere else. I wasn't about to give over $20 for 4 really fatty NY strip steaks when I knew I could get better looking ones. I wouldnt have said yes (he offered to cut me 4 new ones) if I knew they'd look the same or that he was going to be hateful when I didnt take them. Not only was it embarrassing but it also pissed me off and hurt my feelings that someone could be so hateful and rude! 😡 I normally don't say anything but I asked to speak to the manager and told her what happened and she went back and talked to him. He did apologize to me but it felt like it was one of those, 'I'm only doing this to keep my job' apologies. Still... 😡 It should've NEVER happened in the first place! As a customer, I'm aloud to change my mind. It's not like they were cell phones and I was locked into a contract saying I HAD to buy the steaks. Anymore if Kroger has good sales, I'll drive an hour or hour and a half to shop at the one in Athens, Ohio. I honestly don't think I'll EVER go back to the Kroger's in Ripley to shop again! I understand that bad days happen, but the employees' frustrations should NEVER be taken out on the customer!!!! 😡 SMH.

We have rented the Rug Doctor from the Ripley Kroger store twice a year for over 10 years. Today my husband went to get one and brought it home without the attachment bag with the hoses and hand tool in it. Calling the customer service I am told we now have to rent the hoses and tools seperatly, you've got to be kidding me. The machine rental total is 31.79 plus extra for the hoses. Talk about a scam.!!

I would like it better if they were better with sale items. Either they don't have them or they take the signs down early so that they can change them for the next sale. It is so confusing to shop there.

Love Krogers. I love that when you forget your coupons there are some on your card. They have so many benefits for shopping at their store. Everyone always is so nice to you and treats you with respect.

This Kroger could use a better cleaning crew. Its a little nasty. The price is more money than what you'd pay at walmart, but the plus side to that is you don't have to deal with the people at walmart. Crowded parking lot, but overall a good place.

Not a large store. The Ripley Kroger has a very small selection of natural foods with no non-dairy cheese, no gluten free bread and little for those with food allergies. Today there were no Simple Truth roasted chickens. Hopefully Ripley will get a larger Kroger soon.

My Kroger's seems to be very well ran. They have plenty of workers to take care of the registers. I always shop there for my groceries as they are cheaper than my Wal-Mart.
