This place use to be amazing when Dr. Gentry was still there! Now all this place cares about is how much money they can suck out of pet owners! Recently got a new puppy and took him here for his 1st appt ran test (parvo was negative) was told he had hookworms and they sent us home with some meds. He started feeling better a couple days later then he started acting like he was before so he went back on his 2 wks weight check and sent him home with same meds. And for whatever reason started his parvo vaccines all over again well he got really bad again on Wednesday 2 days ago and I tried to get him in everywhere but was not successful and kept his Thursday appt. I take him in and he seen the same doc as he did the 1st appt who gave him the parvo test and she literally sat there arguing with me about him never being tested for parvo until she looked at his chart then she pipesup and says oh I see that AKC pet insurance requested his medical records so that tells me you have insurance on him! I said his insurance is no concern of yours and she said well I am going to do a full blood work panel, x-rays, lyte 4. I said that I needed an estimate of how much money they are wanting to suck out of us so I can call my husband. When I called him we decided that I would just pay for the service he had received and take him to the emergency vet. When I went back in I told them our decision and that doctor came around the corner and said that she would go ahead and prescribe the drontal plus and the interceptor plus as I requested when I got there that they argued with me about that he didn't need. Anywho got him back home so we could take him to an emergency vet and my husband went ahead and gave him those 2 pills before we were finished making arrangements for our children to stay while taking hom to the emergency vet the pup had a BM (1st one in 2 days) and it was nothing but a huge clump of worms!! He then started eating and drinking on his own and this morning he is getting back to his spunky self!!! I honestly would NOT recommend taking a dead animal this this money pit!!!JACKSON ANIMAL CLINICDO BETTER!!!

My 2 year old GSD had to have several staples removed after emergency surgery for GDV. I came here because Dr. Blankenship had seen him at KVVEH and was amazing. My dog is quite difficult (animal aggressive & very stubborn) but the staff was phenomenal with him. The patience and genuine care they showed while hiding their frustration (he was not a very good boy and some staples were hard to get out) was above & beyond what I expected. Hopefully he will not have any other issues but if he does, this is where I want him to go.

Had to make a very hard decision recently to have our 15 year old dog euthanized. I was honestly amazed at the caring and compassionate nature from start to finish.I could barely talk when I first called in (I’ve never had to do this before and I was crying non stop). The lady on the phone was very patient with me and extremely nice.I feel like given the circumstances they really go above and beyond to be caring. I could not bring myself to go back I needed to just remember my girl and the good times (I don’t deal well with passing human or pet). They understood completely and met us outside handled the paperwork and everything with us. We donated/told them to keep our carrier even because we’d not need it any longer. The two ladies were very comforting and compassionate and made sure I knew that it was painless and they understood my emotional state.They went above and beyond and sent us a card with my girls paw 🐾 prints. And words of sympathy.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a veterinarian or having to make the hard decision we did to let go of our elderly dog and let her go over the rainbow bridge.

The staff is always friendly. We had to put a member of our family for 18 years to sleep. My daughter and her 3 kids was with me since they had no experience with the procedure Dr. Gentry explained every thing that was going to happen. They also gave my daughter a foot print in clay. That was so nice of them.

Love this place. At first I was sheepish, but after a few visits with rescued and my own they have proved over and over how great they are. They saved my cat's life, no words for that! It's worth every penny. These ladies are amazing. Very blessed.

I've used this Vet Practice for several years now enough that I have lost track. They have been upfront with what they recommend and estimates and alternatives. The Vets, Vet Technicians and other Employees have always treated me and my pets with respect and caring. They do through exams and only recommended tests or procedures relevant to the problems my pet needed. The one time I've had to say goodbye to a cat they were very compassionate.

I needed to have my cat put down because she got really bad over the weekend. They opened at 730 but their vet doesn't get in until 9am. That info should at least be posted so people can better take care of their pets. Very sad

I love how they take time, to do all my pets vital’s, before they start what you are really there for. They answer any questions that you may have about your pet. They are all really nice. I have been going to Jackson animal clinic for years. They really care for your pet, even when time to cross over the rainbow bridge. Would like to thank all.

They have been so nice and polite for my Cheeko and Moo Moo. We had to put Moo Moo down and they sent us a card and a little picture/quote stating their condolences for our loss. I would 100% recommend anyone to take their fur babies here!

I travel from charleston just to bring my dogs here!! Super friendly staff, all four of my dogs absolutely love everyone there, including my grumpy chihuahua! They schedule appointments, and they have Saturday morning walk-ins. I highly recommend this veterinarian!

They are amazing, they saved my Sheltie, she suddenly had rapid progression of paralysis, rear legs up, sudden onset, no trauma, would have gone into resp failure if they had not diagnosed problem fast, & found the one nasty tiny tick hiding in all her fur that was the cause. Full recovery!!!

We visit the farm everytime we visit Amish Country. We always get baked goods, freshly popped popcorn. Visit the animals. We've saw goat being born . We also visit the gift shop. Every one is always so nice and the farm is very clean.
