Little place off the beaten path with so many 5 star reviews, we had to try it. Its a historic building with a cool story the owner shared with us. Food is all fresh and super reasonably priced.We had 2 of the specials, the reuben and the steak & cheese. Each $8.99 including a choice of fries (several cuts).The inside is lovely with tables & booths in the back. There are picnic tables outside also.You order up front, choose drinks from the coolers. Then sit down, they bring the food.The food was super fresh & delicious!Parking: There is a row of spots right in front and i think I saw more parking around the side.Kid-friendliness: The had at least one high chair, a nice looking one at that.

Let me tell you folks... This little place deserves more than a 5 star review.. The staff were super friendly and the food.. well.. FANTASTIC.. everything was super fresh.. we ordered burgers and fries a seafood platter and a large pepperoni pizza.. that pizza OMG that PIZZA.. Fresh HOMEMADE dough hand tossed by the way fresh grated cheese LOADED with pepperoni and the sauce another OMG THAT SAUCE!!!! HOMEMADE a recipe that has been made the same way for over 50 years !!! The BEST pizza I have EVER EAT... if you're ever in Rio West Virginia this is a MUST because if you don't you're missing out !!!

I can't say enough great things about jjs everything I've ever tried is absolutely delicious 😋 the workers are so incredibly nice . The whole place is super clean and well taken care of even the bathrooms were remarkably clean. It's mine and my family's favorite place to eat. If your in rio wv do yourself a favor and go get jjs for breakfast lunch or dinner you won't regret it ..Kid-friendliness: They have plenty of kid friendly food

This is simply the best , BEST of it's kind. This place is an all around ringer! Great food , amazing food.... Great people ... The atmosphere is relaxing and feels warm and rustic... Feels like you're hanging out at ur family's country home .. very cute, quiet... And peaceful. The portions of food are perfect for a hungry family. The variety of food is outstanding. Never visited a place that had quite the diversity of food and preps. For example. , Jjs offers I believe 7 or 8 different ways... Maybe more like 10 to 12 , to have ur french fries prepared ! Lol superb! Serve everyhring from pulled pork, to salads, to pizza, to pasta, mozz sticks.. fish... Pork n ham.. breakfast... I mean it's insane ... The food is amazing. A MUST TRY. FOR SURE! Never crowded and the staff are extremely pleasant ! If ur ever in RIO WV, DEFIENTLY stop by JJS!

Cool little (clean) restaurant and deli. We were on a job here locally and this was the only place within a reasonable distance. The wait staff was super friendly and JJ himself was also engaging and grateful we stopped in!The food hit the spot; tasty, hot and fresh! If I’m in the area again I’d love to make another visit. The food met/exceeded my expectations, the service was very good and the price was reasonable!Nice job staff and JJ!

Just average Deli in small country town. The food and selection was average but not exceptional. The BBQ sandwich and homemade pies are at the top of my list. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Handicap parking spaces available outside with a very little distance to walk.

Very friendly staff. I saw a whole cherry pie as I was leaving...a young lady that works there told me her Mother made it...best cherry pie I ever had...not too sweet but really delicious...the family I was staying with all loved it too. Will continue to return here.

I just moved to this area from northern Virginia and I tried this place for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. I’m a vegetarian and I know it’s going to find places that can accommodate but I able to find things I was able to eat. They have their pies displayed which all look delicious and I’m not even a dessert person but I want to come back to try some. The staff is all super friendly and knowledgeable and patient because I had a lot of questions. Definitely recommend

Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Can eat in or grab to go. Good variety of food, snacks, and drinks. Also has home made pies and ice cream, etc. good customer service and reasonable prices!!!

If you are shopping at the Rio Mall or just passing through don't miss stopping at JJ's. You will never eat anywhere else around there again. I've had lots of different foods and everything was perfect and very generous helpings.

Great food, good friendly people. Just a great down to earth place to eat.Vegetarian options: They fix your food how you ask for it. They have so many different types of food. I've had lunch an dinner I've eaten in the dinning room an taken home my order. They have great specials. Just ask about the specials when you call or go in.Dietary restrictions: They prepare your food how you want or need it.Parking: They have a nice big parking lot with handicapped parking. Also have picnic tables set up outside in the grass.Kid-friendliness: They offer kids portions. They are understanding of children Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they also have handicapped parking
