Just passing through, glad we found this cute little place. People were really nice, and prices are unbelievable. I tried their spicy chicken sandwich, it was great but not spicy and had mashed potatoes and they were bland unfortunately. Husband ordered a bean soup special that came with a grilled cheese and he also got another dish that he ate so fast I can't remember what it was and we still only paid around $25. Overall we were happy and would visit again. Loved all the pictures from the beautiful lake and scenery.

If you are ever in Richwood, West Virginia, I HIGHLY recommend this place! We stopped for lunch on our motorcycle trip and the food is amazing!! Chicken tenders with white country gravy for an appetizer and I had the Spicy Jalapeño burger with a toasted roll...SO good! They say the best places to eat are the small, hard to find ones. well this one is DEFINITELY worth it. And very great and friendly staff as well.

I try to eat at The Oakford Diner every time I go up to trout fish. All meals are great. The deserts are always good. I love the blackberry cobbler it is always great.

I called on a Thursday around 6pm to order some hot dogs and I stopped calling around 730pm and walked up the road and what did I see the workers standing out front smoking so no wonder noone could answer the phone to take my order. Well also my mother n law order some food down there and it was only half there when they got home so she called down there and they said they would make it again. Well when they got there to pick it up they told her she had to pay for it. Now in my eyes this is not very good business for your local customers to be experiencing. I even posted this on Facebook and still have not recieved any response from anyone there. What a shame they had good hot dogs to.

Food was delicious and the waitress was really nice. We had burgers and the spaghetti dinner and we didn't wait more than 15 minutes. It was ready really fast and was cooked fresh. I highly recommend trying them out.

My family and I came in for a 4th of July dinner, EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. Despite only having one waitress she was very attentive and helpful. The food was awesome, I recommend fried green tomatoes and fried pickels- pinto beans and cornbread (a generous helping too!) was quite spectacular! And of course their bbq sandwiches were AMAZING! This place is amazing!

I love the food here. If your in tje mood for down home cooking that makes your tastebuds do a yippy-ki-aa yahoo, this is the place to eat. N if you are a pie person they have these OMG daily home made pies to die for that will make you want more and more. The amount of food you get is even with the price you pay but the quality of the taste of the food is priceless

This is my family's go to spot in Richwood WV. I bring my out of WV friends here to over feed them after several days on the stream. My kids however have their papi bring ice cream and pies into the campground each night. Love to stop for great milkshakes if I'm in town. This place isn't about the ambience it's about the food and the price. Make sure you get the biscuits and gravy at least once. Great food at a remarkably affordable price that will have you, or your kids, coming back for more.

My wife and I was treated very kindly by the waitress, she did a really good job serving us and the cooks did a really swell job cooking the food. I highly recommend trying this place out. You got my props oakford.

Good hot dog. I visited Richwood alot when I was a teen in the early 80's. It was a vibrant, bustling little town back then. Hurts my heart to see it in such decline.

One of my favorite places to eat. They will accomodate any unusual requests. They make a sandwich for me that I love that isnt on the menu. Great staff. Great food.

First time visit yesterday at lunch.Had a long wait to even be waited on, then waited on the food.Unfortunately, the silverware was forgotten, had to wait on that as well.I understand it was lunch rush with only one server.The food was very good and I did return this morning for breakfast,service was much better.Yes, will be back
