The beds were really hard. There was all kinds of hair in both beds look like dog hair so the beds hadn't been changed. The room were so grimy it looks like the room has not been cleaned other than the trash being taken out for months. There's somebody else's toothpaste all over the mirror in the bathroom from visitors before. There's a hole in the ceiling where it looks like a lake had been coming in. The drywall tape is peeling in the corner where the wall meets the ceiling. And there's a trash can outside the door that is completely overflowing that smells like a dead animal is in it. The staff was very kind and helpful. However I was charged $20 more than what I was told it was going to be when we left on our journey The place needs a serious deep clean and some repairs. It does have beautiful view this could be a very nice place I'm sure it was at one time. It is a convenient location to some very good trout fishing catch and release and catch and keep.

There are slim pickin’s for lodging in these parts, and the folks running this establishment should be praised for keeping it afloat through COVID and on. Motorcycle groups favor this place for its fairly central location amid roads favored by motorcyclists. The hotel is tired. Carpets are long past time. Long ago decisions about construction make the rooms noisy. This is particularly the case for the “up top” rooms facing Rt 39, which is a truck route with significant truck traffic. Strongly suggest foam ear plugs when staying here. The upper rooms do have a nice touch with a small balcony that overlooks the parking lot below and the valley beyond. A small table and couple of chairs make for a pleasant spot. Dorm refrigerators and tiny microwave ovens, coffee maker provided, as well as DirecTV service. It rained while we were here, and a drain in the parking lot was not working. The place is run with minimal staff, which means waiting sometimes to reach someone. Reservations are responsive. The location by a stream is pleasing, and they provide firewood for a fire pit with several picknick tables. This is what it is, and if you need a place to lay your head and take a shower around here, it’ll do. Times are hard in the local community of Richwood, with more boarded up than not, and food is sustenance only. One would do well to have at least a substantial supply of snacks, if not outright camping.

Beautiful place and amazing atmosphere. Good place for your dogs to roam around, just beware of the lodge kitties running around with your dogs. Fire pit with plenty of seating around, gorgeous view from the balconies of the river. Definitely a place i forever highly recommend, feels incredibly welcoming for you and your fur babies!

I’ve never myself spent a night at 4-seasons but have however visited many friends and more often the falls that give this place the beautiful outdoor views. Any room I’ve been to during a visit has been very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend this spot to many tourists to the area as well as friends visiting.

Well, its not the Ritz. It is nice though. Was able to sight see nearby areas with ease. The town is nice with a couple of good places to eat. My favorites were the Oakford diner and Rosewood coffee shop

This place is a quiet little motel against the Cherry River. I stayed hear for several months while working in the town, it has beautiful scenery and great fishing right out the back door. It is a bit old in some aspects but overall the staff do what it takes to try and make you feel at home.

I didn't stay here our crew did. Drove down to bring them some stuff for the site, and walked down to the river. Very Beautiful, and the sound of the rushing water was very calming.

This is a smaller Lodge and the room was very clean. They also have 2 apartment style rooms that can accommodate a small group. I recommend it to anyone wanting to be closer to the river as you are right there. Beautiful place to stay

Friendly staff, great view. Not the cleanest or quietest rooms. Sheets were stained, shower curtian had pink and black mold and fridge smelt like something died in it.

It is a so beautiful location. The handicapped room was great! Everything was very nice. Surprised they even had wifi in this rural setting, right next to a wonderful swimming hole & the national Forrest.

Stayed once before they accomodated our three kids and two dogs in a small apartment, awesome people, clean place, very accomodating. This time on a wing and a prayer I called to see if they could accomodate us again in a moments notice and they did. We had a bad experience at super 8 and left within minutes with knowing no where else so pet friendly and accomodating except here at four seasons.

I am so glad i got to stay their even in a bad weather. Everything else was closed. Its a beautiful little place in a town called Richwood. There is not much to do but that place keeps you busy with its natural beautiful surprises. I was not looking for a luxury stay I was on a cross country trip so i liked every bit of it. I would love to stay their again.

It’s a retro little inn in a beautiful location. The owner was nice and will let you just rent a shower if there’s availability. Clean and cute.

Nice lodge with clean, inexpensive rooms. The rooms have wifi, a microwave, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. Pro tip: ask for a room down by the scenic Cherry River, which runs right behind the lower building.

Stayed here summer of 2019. Trail right outside our room that led to the falls. Grilling area we used when we had family over. If you are coming to Fenwick or Richwood stay here!

These are some of the most beautiful condos and rooms resting against the natural beauty of the Monongahela national Forest. The constant sound of the cherry river to sooth you into rest.

Beautiful location is the only thing going for this place. Tv didnt work, smelled like mildew, just overall uneasy feeling. Could be very nice with a little work.

Wonderful atmosphere and beautiful place. Needs updates of course to the rooms and with internet offerings, but with the place and location you cannot find anything that gives the views like they can.

Clean, comfortable room for reasonable rate. Great place for base camp if hiking, fishing, hunting or just exploring the Monongahela National Forest.
