One star is been generous if you ask me you can’t even shop in this store I was looking at a hair brush after purchasing a drink and I didn’t purchase the hair brush I was stop at the front door and questions by brandy “the person in charge” that doesn’t understand basic questions and outside smoking on company time milking the clock and we all wonder why family dollar is mess this is why we got people like this running stores lazy people that shouldn’t run a store or work retail the store is nasty and has allot of items out of stock due to staff not working but instead smoking cigarettes and making the front of the store smell like cigarettes smoke so we can all get 2nd smoke as we go to spend our money

Literacy, drug use, and the location of this family dollar greatly affects the customer service bar provided by management and employees at this location. Because customer service isn’t a priority here, when there are at least 4 employees plus manger working at all times. If you ever stop by the store, you will definitely find a number of employees sitting out front of the store, sitting on crates smoking, accompanied by the so called manger. With at least one car full of friends or family loitering in front of the store. These are a few of the things that are prevented by traditional mangers, because they all equal losses to operating cost. I would ask if you see something or have a bad experience with this location , please report to corporate, and post on reviews. Because this community definitely deserves better from this establishment. And if anyone needs verification of statements made please contact me and look-up the statistics for area.

I love this store but it definitely needs to have a shelf check a few times a day. Employees are always super nice.

I hate to give any place a bad rep but sadly this establishment is very poor in customer service. It's been years now since I was told by store managers/employees that I wasn't allowed in their store and to this day I'm still trying to figure out why I was told to go. I respect the fact they can refuse service to anyone but I couldn't even get an explanation on why I can't shop at their store. Downright disrespect. Doesnt deserve one star

I've never been dissatisfied with the service. The people that work there are all nice and very helpful. Today they were going thru redoing all the planograms so I can understand the shelves being empty in spots. I'm sure in a few days it will be back to normal. Not a problem for me.

Slow service, terrible parking, understocked shelves and the A/C & heat only work half the time. There's never anyone at the counter to check out and the merchandise is always sitting around the floor in boxes rather than on the shelves. Much prefer the Danville or Van locations.

They refuse to let me in the store. I haven't done anything wrong. they've mixed me up with someone else. It's really an inconvenience. and if I don't want to go over the hill, I have to pay double at the gas stations or the Country Store.

Clean and the staff has a low turn over rate that allows the customers and staff to participate and exchange that home town store by getting to know both.
