Tried to call and speak to someone in the Garden center at the Princeton WV Lowe’s, the phone rang for about two minutes. Finally I was auto transferred to customer service. The lady tried three times and the call kept going back to customer Service. On the third transfer back to customer service, she answered and just hung up on me. I guess I’ll go somewhere else and spend my money. Good luck Lowe’s!

We are a Lowe’s Pro Member and spend an incredible amount each year and this store in Princeton has the worst customer service. Twice this year we have already ordered large quantities of product for pick up and each time none of the products are ready when we have arrived after receiving notice “Your order is ready for pick up” They then send someone to collect the massive amount of items which has resulted in us spending 3 additional hours just to pick up these orders. Today, after opening a large shower wall kit that was damaged I called this store to inquire if they had a replacement - I was told two were in stock. I asked if they would put their eyes on it before we made the 30 minute trip there and after being on hold for 14 minutes a rude employee gets back on the phone and says “We don’t have any” I question this due to the first employee telling me there were two and he aggressively states this time “WE DON’T HAVE ANY”. At that point take his name to be able to talk with a manager about his conduct. Two hours later we call this same store back because we are convinced the product is there to be told by a different employee- “Yes, we do have one in stock”and they pull it to the front for us to pick up!! If you want a good customer service experience please travel to either the Bluefield or Beckley location. They have their act together and it shows!

This lowes is an amazing store. It is walking distance from my hotel. The battery in my vintage Casio PQ 6 alarm clock went dead and it is an odd ball battery. This store has the battery in stock and reasonably priced too. Now thanks to this store I will not be late for work because my alarm clock will now work. Store was very clean and the staff is friendly as well

I was in lowes the other day looking for items to repair a water line at my home. The gentleman in the plumbing section was so knowledgeable and very helpful in assisting me in finding everything I needed. He took time and answered all my many questions. The customer service was amazing. Thank you again sir.

I was looking to buy some foam board insulation. My local Lowes's never has any in stock. So, I went on Lowes's website to see where I could find some. The website said there were 8 in stock two days ago, and seven in stock today at the Lowes's in Princeton, WV. So, being I didn't want any more to be sold before I got there, I took off work and drove an hour to get what I could. When I got there, there was a mixture of foam board in the spot where the item was supposed to be with none of them being the correct stuff. I talked to 4 different associates trying to see if I could order some. The guy at the pro center said they had a huge amount on order, but he didn't know when they would be there, and he couldn't order them because they already had a huge amount ordered. I went to customer service, and the girl there said she could get the manager to order some. When she came back to talking with him, she said that he said it was discontinued, which I believe to be a lie being they were telling me of other stores that were hours away that had some, and the previous person I spoke to said they had ordered more. I am convinced that no one there has any competence in their job, and no one really cares to put any effort in.

Bought a pallet of concrete and the operator busted up my tailgate. I tried multiple time to get a manager to help me with damage but none of them would call me back. After a couple months of this I went inside the store and employee there laughed about it bc I didn't say anything b4 now but I had been trying for 2 months. That's Bad business. They even had the video of what had happened.

Good choices in Refrigerators.BUT. had an issue with purchase. They gave me $106.00 credit. On my next purchase, they used my credit card and not my $106.00. Long story short. I used scissors and cut my Lowes card in front of them. Spent $14,000.00 in 1 1/2 years there. Not a customer service place. Stand up what is right.

Went in bought a washer i was told itcould be delivered the next day in the evening. Delivery called i told them it had to be the evening and they said they can't deliver that late in WV!! They canceled my order. Then I was told the store can't order them to be picked up in store!!!! Had to call 3 times before I could talk to a person and was given the runaround!!

We went to Princeton lowes and picked up a couple solar birds that were marked as on sale for $4.98 that were originally $17.98. They ran up as regular price at the register and when we politely showed the manager the price they were marked as, she acted as though it wasn’t her problem and refused to change the price in spite of them being marked as on sale. She claimed it was mismarked and was very unapologetic and rude about the whole situation.

I purchased a water heater over a week ago and asked to have it installed. I was told I would be called to schedule the installation. When I didn’t get a call my Saturday, I called. I was told I’d get a call on Monday. When that didn’t happen, I called again today. I was put on hold for 20 minutes before I was disconnected. I am currently on hold for the second time and it has been 8 minutes.

Reason for 3 star rating is lack of assistance when shopping and never enough registers open for checking out, they only want you to use self-checkout and reduce overhead by automating, not customer oriented.

You guys lost out on a high value purchase in tools because after 30 minutes of standing there waiting on somebody to unlock the cabinets. We gave up and went to home Depot. And while we understand the need to lock up all your high value items I highly suggest you get something like Kmart used to have, where customers pushed a button and a big blue light came on until an associate came and helped. And as for the wood that we just purchased I truly hope it's better than the stuff I bought a few years back to build a fence with and is now rotting out and needing to be replaced and yes it was all ground contact wood then and now.

Love the store, hated the cashier. Honest to God is it to much to ask for people to just do their job???Purple hair, no acknowledgement that we were trying to check out. Never even looked up at us...not once through the whole transaction. She was to busy looking at her phone. No hi, bye, have a nice day, kiss my a**...nothing.But the store itself was nice, found everything we needed and the bathroom was clean.

I have had multiple issues with Lowe's Princeton WV store. The biggest problem seems to be a lack of knowledge and training. I can tolerate this at department stores, grocery stores, craft stores, etc., however, when people are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars to improve their most valuable asset, employees need to be knowledgeable and helpful.I recently had the run-around on some vertical blinds I purchased. After having my windows measured, I went to pick out my blinds. Three people who were working in the window treatments department could not help me because they had no clue what they were doing. Finally, the fourth person was able to help me order them.I paid for the blinds, the delivery, and the installation in advance. When the blinds arrived, I did exactly what the employee said. I tried to call her. I sat on hold for hours. I went to the store and spoke with her. She said she would be in touch with me Monday morning. When I hadn't heard anything by Wednesday, I called another number I found. They should've given me this number to begin with.Nothing had been put in their system about the delivery. The installation company had never been notified. I would complain to the manager, but no one answers the phone there. I really hope we get another home improvement store in Princeton.I'm giving 2 stars because the installation people are very kind and the lady I spoke with at the last number I tried did in 2 minutes what employees at Lowe's couldn't do in a week.

By far, it is the worst public bathroom I have ever seen. I have seen cleaner portolets at the track or a campground. Truly horrible. Not 1, but ALL OF THE STALLS were unusable. They obviously had not been tended to all day and it was just after 7pm when I arrived. I told one of the cashiers that work the self checkout, but she did not seem to care either. I would have added photos but I imagine they would have been flagged and taken down by Google.

Went in for safety bar. Ended up getting washer and dryer. The salesman was ok at first. Then he made mistake said we'd call main office when done. After done I asked him about the call. He looked at me and said "they won't tell me anything you have to look at your receipt and find customer service. " Then he left. I almost stopped at service desk and returned everything. But I needed a dryer.

I want to thank Jeannie from the Mill work Department for her help in me to work out the details of my purchase of a stove.Now that might sound strange but I called and called and the phone rang and rang and she picked up the call and organized everything for me as today was the last day of the sale of the stove I was buying. Things have really changed especially in these covid times, but she made the time ( I know she was really busy) to go over everything and assure me the discount was applied and the delivery arranged. My vote is to make her Manager (only if she wants to be :) and Merry Christmas to you!!!! Karen O
