My fiance and I found the owners to be very pleasant, friendly and helpful. They let us know first thing that prices were negotiable and to let them know if we needed any help. The store is nice and clean with lots of good finds. Prices are comparable to most antique stores you’ll find in the area. I’d recommend it to friends.

I had a great time looking and shopping in this mall. I had read some pretty bad reviews about the older couple. Let me tell you, I enjoyed them as much as the shopping. He was a hoot. And we got some big laughs in and lots of joking around. She was just as kind and pleasant of a person as you could have asked for. Will definitely go back the next time Im out that way.Visiting from near the Chesapeake Bay

Great place with friendly owners. Large selection of antiques from different decades and categories. Found some vintage books I just had to buy, along with a slide ruler. Most definitely would go back.

What a nice, large store, VERY clean (no antique store smell, if you know what I mean), and easy to walk through. Great variety, and the owners and one clerk I met were all just so friendly. I will definitely go back. 😁

After our party of four spent an hour browsing through and complimenting them on this beautiful antique store, we asked at the desk if there was a restroom. The man right away says "sure you come in here looking for a bathroom....are you going to spend any $$$....unbelievable". WOW. I stated we have been in here an hour already and still haven't finished looking. The woman at the counter was just as forward asking if we were buying anything. We may have until then. I spent $2, wished them a better day and left. Lovely store, customer service not so much.

July 24, 2023: Would not recommend this store. My grandmother, sister, son and myself browsed for around 15-20 minutes. We didn't make a purchase. As we left, we told the elderly lady at the counter that we were appreciative to be able to browse. She rolled her eyes and sighed really heavy without any other response. My suspicion is that she was offended that we didn't make a purchase. Do not plan return to this location for a while.

After reading some of these negative reviews, I'm not surprised by poor treatment from the cranky older couple there when we visited on10/20/22! We arrived at 4PM, OPEN sign was still on, door unlocked. While my wife wandered, I asked how they'd survived last couple of years; old man & I agreed it'd been hard on every business. We wandered for maybe 20 minutes, nothing struck our fancy, and told them to have a nice evening as we left. My wife was shocked that the older woman said "it would've been nice if you bought something. " The old man followed us to door saying "you wasted 30 minutes of our time, we were closed, and you could've bought something!" Had they said they were closed, we wouldn't have stayed! We got in our car at 4:27, website said closing was 4:30! We're from Chicago area, visit WV every few years, have been to this place many time--these people weren't there at our last visit and we'll NEVER visit there again. Rude people! If people sell on consignment there, this couple is doing a great disservice to them! We told all of our family who live near there or visit not to waste their time here. If I could've given 1/2 star or negative star in rating, I would have.

Nice size and may find a few odds/ends; however, last time I was there the elderly man that sits in a chair next to the counter in his booth went off for no reason when I was speaking to the cashier and she recommended I ask the grump about a piece I was looking for. Without provocation whatsoever, I was taken aback as he started shouting for no apparent reason. Because of this person, I will never return.Wanted to update; after reading multiple reviews after I posted this one, it seems many of us have the same and similar experience. Just because I walk into a store does not mean that I automatically must purchase something. The old man was belittling, and he is not joking as one would think initially as I did feel the same way at first. Also, it doesn't matter what time of day, I was there just after they opened that morning the day I went.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Walked in and immediately accosted by elderly man sitting behind the counter. He told me to leave the second I walked through doors. Couldn't tell you what his problem was but not going to take the time to find out. I don't know how thier doors are still open treating people like that. 0 stars. Very Rude

Very very rude I took in some items to sell the elderly man asked for a price I gave a very low price he said immediately take your stuff and leave my store. Now I'm a firm believer in small businesses but not a believer in being rude. That is not how to run a business. They don't deserve a star

After reading some of the negative reviews, my wife and I decided to visit this Antique Mall. upon entering we were greeted with a smile and warm welcome from the couple who were the owners. The Mall has very nice antiques, well above average, and we found some very nice items which were fairly priced, including a pair of what appeared to be hand carved figures of a turn of the century railroad conductor and railroad fireman. We were still looking around at closing time and the husband locked the door while we finished shopping. I asked the husband if he was the grumpy old man that got the bad reviews, He admitted that he was and we laughed about it. He then said to my wife and I that it was customers like us that made their business fun and enjoyable.Funny when you treat people with kindness and respect, you might just get the same in return.John

The couple who own this store were very rude to my associate and me when it became clear that we hadn’t found anything that we wished to purchase during our visit. They advised us that their shop was not a museum and that they had to pay for this stuff. I kindly apologized for any inconvenience our visit had caused them and left the store, NEVER to return. This was the most uncomfortable shopping experience that I have ever had, antique store or otherwise. If you go in that place, plan on buying something.

I giggled reading through Google reviews of the brazen remarks that the owners had "supposedly" made to other customers. Until the same rude comments were made to me and my husband (We didn't purchase anything. I collect swung vases and he collects vintage watches. They had neither.) I wasn't offended, but definitely surprised! Be wary shopping here if that type of behavior bothers you...

Stopped by after our trip to WV. Didn’t see anything that really appealed to me or my wife. When we said thank you and have a nice day, the owner began to berate us for not buying anything. Odd business practice. Maybe have better stuff? I wouldn’t recommend stopping here. I’m sure they’ll be out of business soon with a horrible attitude like that.

What a great find of an antique shop. Loved the owner “Cali the cat”. Lol. She let me carry her the whole time I shopped! It just made my day! The family that owned the shop was so pleasant and friendly.

First time there. They do not like it when you don't make a purchase.If you use the restroom they absolutely expect you to make a purchase and if you don't they make a comment on your way out saying they hope you enjoyed using the restroom. Why have a restroom open to patrons if you don't want them to use it? Will not be going back.

My wife an I love this place.We always find a couple of items to purchase to add to our collections.It is always a walk down memory lane when perusing the aisles for hidden treasures.The place is clean and organized, owners are helpful.We stop here a couple of times a year when antiquing from Pittsburgh to Blacksburg.

This is a wonderful place to shop for gifts for all occasions. I always find something unusual that is just perfect. One of the owners Bonnie is so welcoming and helpful you will just love her. Richard is so knowledgeable with wood and how to fix old pieces without taking their value away. It is a lot like your own private get-away to shop. Trust me you will love it.

Yikes! AVOID THIS PLACE, unless you enjoy being treated badly. My experience mirrored many of the other one star reviews except when the man asked where were we were from he gave us a disgusted look when we answered him. Maybe we would have been treated better if we had bought something, but we didn't even feel welcome to shop there. Maybe he'd be happier to charge a cover to walk through the door. I don't know how/why they stay open for business. I have bought more things I didn't need from people who were nice than I have bought things I've wanted from people who were mean.

Returned to purchase an item that I had passed on several weeks earlier. During my previous visit, the owner's husband had quoted me a price of $20 on the item. I offered that ammount this time and the lady huffily refused and said that no one would ever quote that price. She asked who had given me that price and I pointed to her husband who was sitting beside the counter in the same spot as he was on our last visit. He wouldn't make eye contact with me and said that he didn't remember. Rather than argue or take offense at being called a liar, I said that I would pass on the item. At this point she slammed her hand down on the counter and yelled that "she was sick of pepple wanting beautiful things for free!" I will never return and do not reccomend this business to others. Additionally, the item was miss labeled as"Blenko" when it is actually a piece made by "Viking".

KEEP DRIVING!!!!!!! My wife visited this store last weekend. She spent several hours driving there in hopes of having a nice shopping day. There were three people at the store who weren't very friendly. She shopped for a while but didn't purchase anything at that time because she collects "invalid feeders" and didn't find any. Upon leaving, she simply asked if there were other antique stores in the area to visit. The older man asked where she had driven from to visit his store. She answered Staunton VA. He stated, "you didn't buy anything. This is not a museum." He then said, "if there were other antique stores around, I wouldn't tell you, now get out." My wife stated she stood there shocked - thinking at first that he was joking - but he wasn't. She has never encountered a more bazaar and rude antique shopping experience. She tried calling the store several times a few hours later to talk to another person & ask if she had done anything wrong. No answer. Needless to say, she will not be back. Hopefully they won't stay in business long treating people so rudely.

We had a splendid time perusing the diverse antiques available. And to enhance the shopping experience, a small kitten scampered around the store to greet the customers. The owners of the shop were so kind and welcoming. When my uncoordinated friend caused a ruckus after knocking over an item, the owner very kindly helped cleaned up the mess. (We of course purchased enough items to make up for the damage.) I'd love to come back soon!

Staff was not friendly during my visit. Listing for company on Google stated closing time was at 5PM however when I walked in at 4:13PM the operator stated closing time was 4:30PM and that we should leave. We just walked in and he was rude so we just turned around and walked out. Maybe if you go earlier in the day the staff are friendlier and you can get a better experience? Based on my experience I will never know.

The woman that owns this business with her husband was amazing. Her husband however was very rude. He told us he wanted to leave by 5 it was 4:30 he makes a phone call and says "Well be late we have people in the store and they don't look like they're leaving any time soon"They have a bunch of great antiques but I will not go back because of him.

If you aren't going to buy don't bother going. He yelled at us and another party.. the hours on the internet are wrong. They close at 4 pm. Don't go close to that he will yell at you.

Rude , act like better than u , most unwelcoming ever ! I don’t know how they even get people to buy from them. I’ve never felt so pushed down to the ground in 30 seconds in my life . Wow ! If you go here your wasting your time . It’s sad because I was going to look through their store but was shot down immediately on something I was trying to sell and didn’t even want to buy from them after. I can’t get over how rude , I was already taught to respect my elders but I’m sorry it took a lot of strength not to say what I thought .
