the go to place for certain items that save a lot doesn't offer and the only place in town that will assist you with cashing a check frfr a lot easier than going a the way to Mercer county

I've been shopping there my whole life. And I've always had a pleasant time. They are always there for those that need help. Also you don't hear cussing & other such trash when you shop at Goodson's . Oh! And my mother & grandmother loved to shop there also. This is a pretty good place to shop for certain things. I bought 7 bags of potting soil on sale and some flowers and vegetables to plant in my garden.Plenty of room for parking and decent size store.

If you find something you like to eat at this store and you buy said item several times, they then raise the price of the item to where you go elsewhere to get it or just can't afford it. Also on the on-line app you get charged 4.99 just to come pick up your order. That is very sad.

Well, I finally shopped at Goodsons yesterday because Save a Lot was out of cat food and little did I know I was in store for a real treat! I asked to use the ladies room and was shocked to see two people having s3x in the bathroom!!!! I was horrified!!

Great staff and cashiers, high mark-ups on reselling Sams Club merchandise. Semi-high groceries. Relocated from an expensive city yet this store is actually higher priced than most stores back there. They do have the monopoly on name brands in the county, that's for sure. Over all, I enjoy the shopping experience.

A perfectly adequate grocery store. Has a large enough selection of items to keep a healthy variety going, and is worth checking in a couple times a week to see what may be on sale. Parking is adequate, although a large dip in the center of the shared parking lot is dangerous.

They have a great variety of food to offer for our community. The only downside is their prices. Otherwise, good place to shop in an emergency without having to drive to Beckley or Princeton.

Their prices are a little higher than other grocery stores, Their meat department is good. My only complaint is that they don't get new products very often and they could have better sales being that they are only one of two grocery stores in Welch.

It's an ok place to shop, I give it 5 stars on everything but their prices I give them a 4.4. The store is clean, organized, the workers are friendly, and i love the layout of the store, but in saying all that, their prices are very high.

The prices here are through the roof. During the pandemic they drove their prices even higher. The manager gets an attitude with anyone who has even a minor complaint with the store. Avoid this place at all costs.

Love goodsons I’ve bout made it a priority to go at least once a month to Goodsons especially if I’m buying a lot of groceries.prices vary.They are better than anything around the Hanover Area!! Ready to go back again.Hope freezers are stocked up!!
