Stopped at The Coffee Grinder for day 1 Mothman Festival. Comfy & cozy atmosphere. They had decorations for fall & Halloween. The coffee was hot & delicious. I also enjoyed a “Mothman cookie”, very tasty! I sat and enjoyed my coffee & cookie. Staff was very pleased & accommodating. Plenty of tables & hi tables. I will definitely visit again when I’m down in the Point Pleasant area.

I am so happy we stopped here during Mothman Festival, even though the line was out the door. Definitely worth it! I love the atmosphere inside the Cafe and all the decorations. The whole staff was so nice and had smiles on the whole time. The Mothman mural that you stick your face into was honestly awesome.Because we came during the festival, there was of course a wait. Everyone wanted Mothman shaped cookies or decorated cupcakes. We even grabbed a pack of "Mothman Droppings" (chocolate covered espresso beans).As a special during the festival, they were offering a $8.99 "Bucket Lunch". It was a large plastic Halloween pail, with your choice of full sandwich or half a wrap, type of cookie (peanut butter, snickerdoodle, or chocolate chip), a bag of plain chips, and a drink (water, small coffee, or iced tea). This is an absolute steal for $9! You can tell it's all being made fresh too.Definitely check this place out when you're in town, even if there's a line!Vegetarian options: I know I saw a grilled PB&J on the menu, as well as an egg salad with pimento cheese sandwich. I didn't look too closely for other vegetarian options.

- staff friendly.- service was quick.- places was clean and organized.- prices a bit high for quality of coffee and baked goods, we spent $17 on two coffees and a. Cookie. Coffee seemed like it was just brewed by pot and then had a little Carmel added in with a small amount of creamer. Cookies look cool but taste like a normal store bought cookie, other then the shape and decor nothing really special about it.- parking seems like it's not too hard to find around the area.- overall not a bad place and worth visiting for moth man aesthetic.

- Not friendly at all.- The place was empty besides our family that was there. The barista at the front who took our order and cashed us out was annoyed to do her job.- My coffee and my partner’s “Carmel frap” was GROSS. Worst coffee I have ever had. I don’t even think there was coffee in it!- Overall a really bad experience. Expected a lot more because the interior and exterior are very cute. Normally I would never leave a review like this but, if you want good coffee do not come here.

Loved this place. We ordered the bucket lunch which was super cute. The lunch came with a sandwich, chips, cookie, and drink in a sand bucket. Super fast service. The ladies in there we great! Really friendly. We would recommend to anyone. FYI THE PB COOKIES ARE GREAT!!!!

We stopped here to get some hot coffee in the snow waiting for the Mothman Museum next door the open. It did not disappoint! This is the cutest, voziest little coffee shop I've been to. The coffee was phenomenal, and the lady working was the sweetest! She made us feel right at home and was and absolute pleasure to meet. The cookies are delicious too!

We visited this cute and cozy coffee shop after our visit to the Mothman Museum. Ordered two salads and coffee. Staff was friendly and the food came quickly. A local, who has lived in Point Pleasant his entire life, gave us such a great history lesson about the town and the tragic bridge collapse. Really nice experience.

The ladies were super nice and the service was great. I wasn’t a fan of the caramel frapp and they didn’t have their restrooms open to customers which was rather inconvenient. I understand if it wasn’t open to the general public but I was a customer and that was a let down to be directed to the city public bathrooms after giving them my business.

Wow. This place was great for breakfast. I had a waffle, hot chocolate, and a mothman cookie.The waffle was CRISP and so, so good. The butter melted beautifully on it and the syrup was not too butter-y or too corn syrup-y. It was perfect. I wish there were some other fruits offered for serving with it but the banana was nice on the side.The hot chocolate was so creamy and maybe actually my favorite I've ever gotten, SEVERELY disappointed I don't live in the area to be completely honest (four hours might be too far for a good hot chocolate).The mothman cookie was a sugar cookie with hard icing. It was good, but I would recommend with a water because it was very sweet. So cute though!My sister got a breakfast wrap and it looked delicious. She said the cheese was perfectly melted and it tasted really good.Loved this place and staff were so nice. If I ever went through this area again it would be top of the list to stop back here.Parking: Had to parallel park, ugh. It wasn't busy when I was there but I would be cautious about finding parking at a busier time!

The one star is not for the coffee it was really good. The lady who took our order was not so good. I don't know what this lady's problem was, but she was just completely put out by us. I am sorry we want coffee at 1pm, when you are open until 3. Our order total was 6.63. The nerve of me giving you 21.63 so I can get back 15 dollars, oh, wait your wife wants cream for her coffee? Now I have to walk 10 feet to the back and get it. Seriously, this woman was unbelievable. I understand it is in proximity to the Mothman Museum, but if you can, go somewhere else.

Every time I'm passing Pt. Pleasant I'm sure to take a quick stop in at The Coffee Grinder. It's a cozy little cafe, staffed by the sweetest people serving up tasty treats; it's really the perfect little pick me up. While the mothman cookies are adorable and fun, the real star is the rest of treats in their baked goods cabinet. Seriously, the coffee cake is to die for! Paired with a great cup of coffee and the super jacked mothman statue around the corner, it can't be beat for a lovely little stop.

Stopped at the Mothman museum and decided to check out this place that was a 1 min walk away. So glad we did!! Service was incredibly fast and very welcoming. The food was incredible! Definitely better than fast food, the prices were great. The whole feel of the place was overall great! Definitely worth the stop!!

The Coffee Grinder was a real gem in the heart of Point Pleasant, with the food being very good and the service being kind and friendly. A great hangout spot for local and tourist alike, it features a "take a book, leave a book" stand that really knits together the feeling of community inside. I would recommend the cheesecake milkshake if you're looking for that sweet tooth kick, and the mothman cookies are just so silly and worth a bite! If i find myself back in this town, this spot is definitely worth a return trip.
