Came to Ohio from Californian and ran across the river for some groceries for our short stay. We found lots of fast food nearby, but wanted to find something a bit healthier for dinner.This is a large chain store with a small town feel. We were happy to find some of the things we needed, but found the selection of healthy foods and beverages really lacking. It may be more geographical than the store and our foods vary quite a bit California.Staff was very friendly and we were in and out quickly.

High prices unless you catch the sales. They seem to keep meats too long before a price reduction. I do like the deli chicken if you can get it fresh. I used to get hot dogs and corndogs there at the deli also but like everything the prices went up.

I use to love this seafood salad but everytime i have gotten it recently it has been not the best..i dont know if this is the french city one or made in house but all i do know is im disappointed, im picky on seafood salad and this has been the only one i have ever really loved but not any more

Too expensive!!! 😳Cashiers are totally unfriendly!! They act like you're bothering them to ring up your stuff! They don't even say hi, thanks, or anything!🤷

Would not recommend. The interior has not been updated since the 60s or 70s, produce section is bad, and they never seem to have what I'm looking for. One positive to say about it is the bakery does usually have some good products.

This store does not believe in stock rotation; I've seen dust on top of jars of Spaghetti sauce, expired packages of dry gravy mixes, and one has to beware of spoiled food. I've been to other Piggly Wiggly locations, and they were very clean and well stocked. Maybe it's just this store, I will not stop here unless it's absolutely necessary.

Went there yesterday cashier rude to my 6 year old and even before I unloaded the groceries. Her tone of spite and bitterness will not be tolerated again. I will never shop there again . This dingy. Smelly trash barrel of a store.

They've decreased their prices or other places have increased theirs to match. Still, a somewhat older store that clearly needs restocked with canned goods that are not rusting at the lid (no kidding...go look at the canned pineapple) and a major overhaul on their produce section.

It does the job since the switch to this NAME instead of the former I feel like this new store has been fulfilling its requirements, a function, and whether smoothly with not very much complaining grunts groans, much less anything at all. Prices and/or Customer Service, the locations all remained the same overall cost of living ( prices storewide ) some of them increased, others remained the same. New products were introduced, while others stayed the same with a gradual change, increase, and decrease. Or just a complete list removal of said product entirely. But overall the new branding hasn't had any negative connotations in the Ohio River Valley.

Very awfully close on me cuz being disabled walked in 9:53 to grab milk and donut for ourselves and now walk out 10:02 empty all cashier closed early. They don't care...... Bad management and very dirty saw roaches.... Never come back again awful.... Kroger are the best!!!!!So, I go make sure everyone in locally know this has happened... Cuz we from the location awfully.... So piggy wiggly need go.....

The Store Manager not sure if it’s this store In particular but the store manager by the name of Vanessa cook is a scam artist online . And she told people to” die poor” when they needed her help she’s in a cash app blessings group” I just wanna put that out there where she would tell people she would help them but yet wants all there information asking for google verifications & all when google itself said don’t give that out to nobody the people that ask for that are mainly scammers. I wouldn’t support a place like this. With people like this working there and not even hiding the fact of how horrible this person is

It's OK but beware of spoiled food and produce just be sure and check stuff out I had to return a half gallon of half and half it was easy enough (they diddnt even ask for receipt) workers are friendly and helpful

I have never been to a Piggly Wiggly, but from my impression upon stepping in door, it's similar to a Family Dollar or Dollar General store. Affordable snacks and typical convenience store type of products. The downside is that just as is typical with Dollar General and Family Dollar stores, it's most easily described as trashy. The general vibe of the store itself and the customers is just sub par. The staff was friendly, but as with similar stores, I couldn't wait to grab what I came for and leave.

I used to love shopping here.. But now it has gotten way to expensive for anyone to shop..I always bought family pack hamburger... The big three pounds plus... And I would paid any where from 12.00 to 15.00 or more... Now your lucky to get two pounds for 32.00 ... Who can afford that?? That's one example that happen tonight... The staff is friendly... But the prices have to go...

Expired and damaged products. Store closes for every little thing also. SNOW closes the store, snow is something common in WV and closing a grocery store when people need emergency supplies is totally unacceptable!! I can understand closing fast food or stores that sell tobacco and alcohol which are ALL open currently. It is 7:30pm on a weekday and the store is closed because it's snowing. Hours change with "no notice" from closing at midnight to 11pm and then 2 weeks later closing at 10pm.

So my friend and I ran in to use the restroom and grab some water. It was an old store and needs a lot of tlc. The restrooms were in the way back in receiving, and worst part was walking the bathroom. The women's room has 2 toilets, one is apparently broken with a wet floor sign on top of it, and NO STALLS!!! Just one room, 2 toilets and a sink. Toilet paper was behind me on the toilet and my friend used the mens and he said the toilet paper was on the floor! Needless to say, there wasn't much for a selection and we had to find another place for water. First time in a Piggly Wiggly and I have always wanted to go since I was a kid, and now I don't know what to think.

Tho it's convience as a neighborhood grocery store is appreciated im glad it's not the only choice I have. I've never really seen any major savings I have noticed prices are higher . It's later hours and locations are a blessing.

It's convenient, prices are not cheap and watch the date on stuff. It's not bad in a pinch, but not my go to grocery store. I can get in and out faster than Wal-Mart, there's usually not a big line and they usually have a few checkouts open, which is the same as Wal-Mart that's 5x bigger. They usually have really good deals on half liter bottles of Pepsi, which is why I went, 4/$9 while Wal-Mart was $2.75 or 4/$11, 22% cheaper. I can't get everything there though.

mediocre place to shop if you’re white, stay away if you aren’t. half the staff was incredibly racist to my latino fiancé and I. just moved to town from arizona and we will be sticking to kroger and walmart.

Prices are a high. You may buy something that is expired. It could be cleaner.. I just dropped this place to a 2 because I have noticed on our last visits more outdated food. My wife said she saw mold on something. I hope management gets a handle on things soon.

A southern chain store buying out and replacing a well known local chain store. Definitely a larger and more established franchise. It seem to be thriving bring new products to our area while in the same removing some that has run its life span or has stagnated instead so to speak. Like all things come and they go. . .

I work here at Piggly Wiggly in Point Pleasant. People always ask if the store in point and Eleanore is the same. It is not. They are own by different people. We do not price match, we also don't do the rewards cards like in Eleanore does. And then people complain to us that they do it, why don't we. If you all just would take a second for us to say its owned by someone else. I'm sorry if this offends anyone, anyone that comes in the store knows I'm a bubbly and fun person that just likes to make the customers feel welcomed with a little laugh or so.

Very easy shopping. They had everything we needed for our RV camping trip during the recent Mothman festival. Very good prices I thought compared to our stores in SC.The pre-form burgers were very good over our campfire.

Produce area was “NASTY”, the banana’s were extremely brown, fruits were not fresh and close to the rotten stages, will not shop their for and produce !!!!

By having a Medical Problem and not allowed in the Public..I called our order in and Piggy Wiggly was so kind as to let us pick up our groceries, they delivered them to our car and we didn’t even have to get out. It doesn’t get any better than that. Thank You to the person who filled our order and Shane for putting them in the car for us.

The only main complaint is that some employees in the deli only wear one glove when preparing orders, and they could do so much better with digital coupons!

I'm up at point pleasant twice a month to take my disabled brother shopping I live in Huntington W.V.A. where we have a kroger and just around the corner was a Foodfair the building has been setting empty for a few years myself I would love to see a Piggly Wiggly down her would be great I would shop their great quality food at a far price would love to see you all down here the building is on the corner of 1st and 6th Ave it's worth checking out
