Ordered a Sunday with extra toppings as well as 3 blizzards and a chili cheese dog with extra cheese and chili (via the drive through). Didn’t get the extra toppings on the chili dog or Sunday. They then handed me the Sunday full to the rim with ice cream and told me they didn’t have lids. Why wouldn’t they tell the customer they’re out of lids? Terrible management and terrible customer service. This is not the first time I’ve paid for extra and not received it at the DQ but this is the last time I’ll ever go to this location.

Absolutely horrible experience food and all. One of the female employees was snarky and purposely messed up everyone’s order, she purposely overfilled my elderly mother’s cup and didn’t put the lid on correctly so it spilled all over her and then she laughed at her. It took forever to get our order then once we got it, everything was wrong. I think she was trying to poison my mother because her food was completely rotten. Mind you, my mother is the nicest woman imaginable and did absolutely nothing to warrant this.

Food was good but the service could have been a lot quicker. Waited at least 10min for a latte or longer. No one else was there in drive thru or inside. Not sure what the hold up was......

Today I went up to the Dairy Queen and I order three chicken quesadillas and a Butterfinger blizzard. When I got home the chicken quesadillas did not have chicken on them they had a little bit of cheese and some onion. I had to sit in the parking lot and wait 20 minutes for my order and I didn't mind doing that but then to get home and not have what I ordered was an insult. I called the manager and they didn't want to make good on the order at all it's so disappointing to go to a restaurant that you love so much and you have a certain expectation and to be treated like trash and not even get the food you ordered is a shame. I do not recommend this Dairy Queen to anybody in Point Pleasant avoid. it at all cost.

So, I've been coming to this DQ for at least 30 years. The blizzard is what you expect from every DQ and it delivers. The main reason I come to this location instead of the one in my town is the hot dog sauce though. That is no longer the case. They changed the sauce recipe. I knew immediately just by the looks. Then there is the taste. I always enjoyed the sauce because it had a slight sweet factor. The sauce now has an almost BBQ flavor to it. Just nasty. To the local folks like myself, this place was an institution. Sorry DQ, you lost a long time customer.

When Dairy Queen in Point Pleasant opens each summer, it’s a big deal and they’re normally busy for a few days. Tonight we went & of course they were busy. No big deal. We waited an hour in the drive thru, for them to give us 4 wrong orders! When they finally gave us the correct hot dogs the sauce and buns were ice cold. we just took them back in and requested a refund. I understand how difficult it is to work at a restaurant that is constantly busy and especially just opening back up, but there is no excuse to mess up the order 4 times and to wait an hour for nothing. I love my hometown DQ but over the years the food has gone downhill & the employees are always hateful. I am hoping the new owners fix these issues, and I do wish them luck.

I miss DQ ice cream locally we have to take a road trip to find one. But the ice cream is delicious. The service was pleasant and quick.

Orders a chicken rap needless to say it was not rapped it looked like a panini in the rap was all wet and Soggy and no lettuce would not recommend eating there

It 2as my first time at this particular location. The staff was great and the blizzards were lovely per usual. My moolatte was the best one I've had yet! My son and I were sooooo dissappointed when she said they don't do chicken baskets there though😭💔

Stopped at Point Pleasant location last month and ordered 4 bbq sandwiches and 2 foot longs. The foot longs I ordered mustard, onion, chili sauce and slaw. They put chili sauce under the hot dog and mustard and onion on top and no Cole slaw. They tasted terrible. Only 1 of the bbq had the slaw on top when 3 were suppose to have the slaw. Went through drive thru yesterday and told them how to make the foot long and in what order to put the toppings and for one foot long it was $5.93. I told the girl she could keep her hot dog because it was not worth that. This DQ use to have the best hot dogs but can no longer say that.

The service in the drive thru and inside are really slow. Many times there are only 2 people working. They need at least 3 people. It's not like it was with the pervious owner.

Drive threw takes for ever! You could of pick up a pizza in the time you had to wait on 2 hotdogs, girls are not as friendly as before , hotdog sauce is not very good. Don’t know what happen but bring back the old crew. Drive threw was quick and employees were great and food was great.

I miss the old hot dog sauce, and they don't steam the buns long enough like they used to. But she sauce was pretty good today, and the employees were very friendly. I still have to give them 5 stars.

Horrible service now. Idk what happened to it but now they don't even fill the cup near full. I paid $13 for the the same amount of ice cream as a small blizzard. When confronted about it she just said thats how much comes in them. I would love for the manager or owner read this.

I would give zero stars but had to give one. Just got two blizzards that were liquid ice cream with very little toppings. Should have known when they didn’t flip it over hot dogs have such little sauce. Drive thru very very slow.

They just reopened Dairy Queen because they sold it to the Ripley owners the new owners did a ton of stuff to make the building look better and since it opened back up the line is huge. When I went they got our order right but I think we got an extra. But Dairy Queen is amazing!

Very friendly and although the menu is limited(no chicken strip basket) the food is good. If you go the only thing that you will find on the menu are hot dogs and BBQ"s as far as food goes but their blizzard and shakes menu is phenomenal. They are only open in the summer.

There are always long lines. Yesterday, I ordered a twist cone. The ice cream machine went down and it took 15 minutes to get my cone. I will continue to visit this site because the quality of their products is better than the other site in Gallipolis, Oh.

well the last 3 times I had gotten a blizzard bottom have of it was just icecream none of the fillings was so it was half blizzard and half ice cream won't come back there

These girls are amazing!!! My husband and I haven't even ordered anything. we were sitting at the gas station beside it broke down one of the girls tries to help us by jumping a car battery and it didn't work so she told us where to park so we would not get towed and even brought us free drinks. another girl brought us money for gas to give someone to come get us. she even said if we were still stuck here after she got off she could give us a ride home. we will not be eating at any other restaurant in Point Pleasant other than this Dairy Queen.

First off I ❤️ the DQ!!!🍦Our DQ was recently purchased by someone new and things are definitely not the same. I miss the girls that have worked there for years. I understand though the new workers are learning and we need patience to help there stress levels! They are slow and there is usually a wait. I go inside that way I can watch and make sure my order is correct. I’ve been able to help a few of the girls just by watching and lending a friendly voice! It’s important to commend the workers. They are trying! A lot are new and don’t know many of the recipes. I think as long as we are patient and friendly, things will improve and wait time will reduce significantly. Be positive, it pays off😊

Bad packaging of hotdogs, previous owner had nice holders for each dog, and wrapped with aluminum foil I purchased 3 foot long hit dogs, sauce, slaw, onions. Got them home and sauce was everywhere some upside down in the bag. 1 out of 3 had slaw. I know I paid for the extras I had ordered.Just saw a pic from a friend who posted on FB a foot long with sauce, probably had a teaspoon of sauce. Owner thinking he can make a killing from using cheap packaging is very wrong. No more for me !!

I had the cupcake for the first time this season and it was very bad compared to what it was before. The chocolate crunchy pieces on top were stale. There was almost no whipped topping on top and the chocolate fudge was almost nonexistent in the middle.
