Used Hometown to cater a church dinner on Sunday 3/24/24. The food was excellent and hot, and staff was friendly. The items were ham, baked chicken, meatloaf, salad, mac/cheese, scalloped potatoes, green beans, baked beans, cholate cake, and banana pudding. This truly was homemade southern eating! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. Would highly recommend.

I've wanted to go here for awhile so I decided to call a friend and see if she wanted to go. I had heard great things and now I can say I totally agree. We got something simple but we both still loved it! I plan on going back and try other things. I'm sure my friend will too. She loved the food too. She hadn't been there before either. Very nice employees and great customers too! A very good family restaurant and they also cater events!Parking: Located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: A great family restaurant and atmosphere. Homestyle cooking. Something for everyone.

Ordered the ribeye and eggs, the steak I ordered medium and came back mixed almost like either it was microwaved or the center of the pan was hot. Dead center was over cooked while the rest of it was dead Raw with only the top layer was brown. The eggs had absolute no flavor. I took one bite of my steak and ended up giving it to a friend. Even they didn't like it either. I will say that customer service was wonderful and they were very nice. Good pricing, but the quality of the food was under the price paid. I loved all the Christian decore, but the only crowd I have ever seen is those who are the sweet older people. I do believe it's due to lack of modern decor and quality of food. The quality of the food I'd say would be cafeteria food from schools. I hope that the quality improves the next time I attempt for another chance to improve the rating. As I only do 2 chances.

Stopped in here right before closing after checking into our AirBnB. My girlfriend and I wanted to try a local place while up here on a a ski trip and Hometown did not disappoint! Our waitress recommended the Philly Cheesesteak and we got two of them. Best one I have had outside of Philadelphia. Staff was extremely polite and everything was well taken care of. Only thing we wish was different is that we could have tried their famous gravy biscuits.Hope to make it back one day!

It's as close to perfect as any restaurant can be, (which is rare in that) and we know nothing is perfect, so it's got my best rating possible. Also as times goes on and life changes, it's becoming one of the few (not too distant years) too short of "classic" (why not with other stuff besides cars, lol) or "historical" business attraction bc it displays a quaint, consistent country cooking atmosphere and replicates this small town, hard working, living and business all in one in our little town. I am grateful for that. We can't all be as successful but this is a good influence of the hard work the Fox family has dedicated themselves to, along with family and we All know how important that is.Although I am familiar with the family, I don't much on a personal basis, but it came to mind to post this because times are changing and a compliment should be mentioned when a compliment is thought as we all need a little inspiration from time to time.I wish them all the best and better in the future.

Hometow !Restaurant is just that, a hometown restaurant. You get that vibe waking in the door. The staff is friendly and the buffet is excellent. Everything was hot and fresh. It's not a huge buffet, but there's enough variety to make most people happy. I've wanted to try this place for a while, and I wasn't disappointed. As Arnold said, "I'll be back."

Hometown is a restaurant with cook home-cooked food. They have a buffet from 11-7:30 each day, along with a huge menu to ensure there’s something for everyone! The homemade rolls are the best part, so if you go, don’t miss out on those!!

Had breakfast here before hiking. Great home cooking, just don’t go in a hurry or on a time schedule. Like everywhere, they are understaffed and in addition, have that laidback, rural hometown speed of slow and slower. But we were not on a schedule, enjoyed the food, and the hash browns were particularly memorable! Cooked in bacon or ham grease I think and soooo tasty!

Nice little hometown restaurant. Clean and cozy like a big ol family get together. I ordered a western omelette and surprisingly enough it was loaded with stuff and not over egged! My granddaughter's bacon cheeseburger was excellent. My husband said the buffet was ok and we left full. Good enough!

Food was a slay. Service was slay. But everytime I eat here there's always flys trynna steal my food😤I guess the flys liked the food to😔😔😔 and the tables are usually not clean. Today i ate here and there's was food and salt on the table and my chair. But other than that it was ight. Edit: I came here yesterday and I counted 32 flys. AND ONE WAS SWIMMING IN MY TEA!!😡😈😈👿👿 Pls get fly trap.😔🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 And the bar food be lookin a lil old...🤢🤑 Another edit: FLY JUST LANDED ON MY PANTS! Had been about 8 or more years since I visited Hometown but myself & my daughter had a girls day. So we decided to grab lunch at Hometown. Goodness it was just as good as I had remembered. My country fired steak was cooked perfect and not hard as a rock. The steak my daughter ordered was actually exactly what she ordered which doesn't happen often. Staff was friendly and dining area was very clean. Love the fact it is a great place to get a home cooked meal.
