I just witnessed the “ manager “ “ employee “Whatever she calls her self.Telling an older woman in front of me that she needed to hurry to check her out because she had a phone call to take. Was rushing this older woman to put her things up on the counter and telling her that she was going to shut down her counter and that people would just have to wait on her or go to another store. And as the older woman was kindly nice about it, as the employee was telling her that this is what happens when the self check out counter is down and everyone calls out of work.. once it was my turn to check out, I put my things on the counter and she starts taking the items I put up there and jerks them out of my hands.. I paid for my stuff and calmly looked at her and said “ maybe if you knew how to properly communicate with people, maybe the other employees would actually like to come to work “I’ve worked in retail and customer service.. in bigger stores.. I would have been fired if I was caught speaking to and rushing a customer who comes in and spends money to support a local store that pays you your pay checks.I will no longer give my money to that store if she’s working.I understand the high level of stress that running that store could put on someone..but you really have to “ fake your attitude a little better “I want to see everyone succeed! But it’s not the first time she’s been like this towards customers. So I’ve honestly seen and heard enough out of her.Sincerely,Taylor Coulter.

The manager is so rude to customers. I feel sorry for her that she hates her life so much that she feels like she has to take it out and embarrass customers. I know that me as a single person choosing not to return to this particular store, will not make a difference business wise. I just wish she was nicer so other customers could have a decent experience while checking out. What a world we live in.. what a shame.

Bright and clean. Variety of frozen foods. Wine, Arbor Mist, Gallo and Barefoot in bottles. Candy galore. Did find my Pantene Hairspray. Clearance table had variety of candles which I love. Plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. Lighters of unique styles.I was with my husband so I didn't get to look like I would have wanted. It had been 8 years since I had been in any store of any kind so I was amazed and excited at everything like a kid in a candy store that had never seen candy.

Cashier's are always friendly, store is always neat and clean. I love shopping at this Dollar General, I drive 23 miles to get to it.
