The workers and staff were very friendly. The pricing of certain items was a bit high for what they were, and the dairy isle seems to be completely out whenever I'm there. Other than that, it's a pretty good store.

They have a good variety of product, food items and an on staff butcher. Many types of meats big packages of meat for families and small for seniors or individuals.Staff are kind and knowledgeable. They even have a hot bar next to the deli. And decorated cake.

Didn't understand why they had diet green tea on sale two half a gallon for $4 but you could get a gallon of it for $3.59 but there were no gallons available only half gallons don't understand what special was that

The meat department is beautiful. Everything looks so fresh! Definitely am going back. Nice prices on most things,,but saw a couple of things that were a bit higher. Overall you are going to save money.

Some perks: store is clean and offers a decent variety, good weekly sales, great deli, good seasonal products, nice restrooms, good hours of operation and they offer community support. Some downfalls: I would prefer a better produce selection, more checkout lanes open and shopping baskets available. I only buy minimal or based on sale ads weekly. Overall the prices average higher as there is no market competition in this town.

Love their spice selection. Great choices on their 5 for $20.00 meat tray deals. They have some spices that they don't have at Walmart in town. Good inviting atmosphere. Good choices of cakes and desserts at their deli area.

We stayed in nearby Cabins, WV for the weekend and came here for a few items and food for our stay. It was perfect for what we needed, had everything you would think a grocery store would, and the prices were reasonable. We sort've felt like outsiders in this small town, but the checkout person that helped us was as sweet as she could be, and made us feel a bit better about coming in.

Make sure seals are attached to your food. I discovered 2 seals.that were not on the ice cream that I was going to purchase. When I saw it was not sealed I brought it to the cashiers attention, and she wanted me to put the ice cream back into the cooler without a seal! I refused, and she proceeded to put the ice cream back in the cooler. The stocker began to tell me that there was no seal needed. I showed him the other ice cream was sealed so he was wrong! I found a manager to show him that the seals were not on these containers, and asked him if this was acceptable with no seal? His reply was, "no, it is not acceptable!" The employees expected customers to eat food.that was not sealed.and insisted that it was okay! I asked them if they would buy or eat food that was not sealed?

Surprisingly, Petersburg Shop N Save has a decent variety of foods and brands. They also have frequent sales. The bakery/deli take out bin could be monitored a little better and rotated more often for freshness...but that's my only real complaint. They always have several check out lanes open, too, which is great.

Friendly staff. Some customers can be very rude and they handle that very well. Let’s remember to not take our anger about prices out on those that can’t control them! It costs $0.00 to be a nice person!

The produce, deli meats, and packaged meats are very good. It's the best place in town to buy those things. Most of the other products on the shelves (except for the bread and ice cream) are much morethan Walmart. The employees are very polite, helpful, and clean - recommend it for certain items, but if you have coupons or a store sales paper you can get a lot of the items cheaper than anywhere else. And they do honor rainchecks during sales and manufacturers coupons - as well as double most coupons when you use them unless the coupon specifies not to do so. Highly recommended for specific items and sales products They will even order items for you if said item isn't currently in stock. Great store! And the Petersburg location has a really awesome deal on different packages of meat; you can pick and mix and match the specially labeled products in the meat department (including french fries and other really good meal additions, as well as tons of different cuts of meat) and only pay $20 for any 5 mix and match labelled product. It's really great if you don't have much money but need to feed 2-4 people per day 💖😊💯

The cashiers aren't always fast or professional, the prices are very high, and the lines are usually pretty long if you have to Shop around the first week of the month. You also usually have to tell them how to bag the groceries or else you will end up with raw meat in the bag with raw fruits and vegetables...

This Shop 'n Save was excellent. Very nice Store, Staff and Product. Moorefield needs to take lessons from this Store. The S'nS in Moorefield WVa is drab and old feeling.

It's the only store in town to shop besides Dollar General. Neither offer good deals often. Shop 'n Save does have 5/$19.99 which helps those of us with limited income. Most of the time the produce isn't worth buying.

Well, it's the only grocery store in the town where we shop. It's a nice clean well stocked store, but extremely expensive. If we had an alternative then we wouldn't shop there due to the pricing.
