Was pleasantly surprised to find home items like decor, pillows, rugs, sheet sets. They also have a nice assortment of beer and coolers. Kay the Store Manager at Pennsboro WV keeps the store running well.

their hours sign is wrong they don't close at 11 they close 10.. some of the workers are super rude. Customers come first, right? Not at dollar general in pennsboro, the night crew need customer service training. My money is too good for that. 😊

This place is convenient, and has great selection for items around the house. Everytime I'm there, it's always clean and great environment for taking the kids for last minute item. The staff members are always friendly and helpful. Not to mention they almost always smile and greet you thru the door. I am and will continue to be a frequent shopper there. And if you are in need of an every day item or small groceries... go there and try it out. You'll go back!

Mrs Kay’s store is neat, clean, very well organized, items are fronted, clear isles, nice kind helpful staff team. Mrs Kay store is without a doubt the Top Ranked Dollar General myself and my family have ever been to. While the shelves here appear full at first glance, you quickly realize that they are full of the wrong product according to the shelf labeling. The store manager is rude, ignores customers and interrupts cashier interaction with customers without apology.

One of the cleanest Dollar General's I have visited. But the staff tend to be rude(on multiple occasions). I refuse to visit this DG again due to my last visit. The guy behind the register did not greet me...even after I greeted him. Then I get in line, only 1 person ahead of me, and she is digging through her wallet to pay for her purchase and the male employee huffed and puffed and actually made the statement "Anytime now." I was highly surprised. Come my turn, I'm rushing to unload my cart so he doesn't make an unprofessional comment...I had my children and really didn't want to make a scene in front of them. Made sure to say hello to him ..no response. Then he acts irritated when I say I have coupons and says "of course". Went to leave, told him thanks and to have a good night and he goes "mhmm". He is lucky he didn't get back-handed. Yes this was one person, but management should have never let that happen or at least continue to happen. I have never felt so uncomfortable and guilty for shopping.

Excellent service and people. Good prices. Always a hello when you walk in. Hours are great. Great place to shop. Way better than the hassle of going to town and going to Walmart...only way to make it better would be if they carried fresh fruit and veggies.

The male manager unsure of his name but he is extremely rude. I shouldnt have the time repeatedly screamed to me during my visit. They close earlier than the sign says also. This is at the pennsboro wv store and now hes been working the harrisville dg and is just as rude. I dont even like going to the store if hes working. Others have complained to me about him. Customers come first. No customer should be screamed at and timed during a visit to the store. I spend a food amount of money locally and at these dg stores but id rather drive 36 miles then be treated rudely. And prices are never what they say they are most the time either.

A sale sign has been up for a month and no one seems to care (buy one get one 50% off on University accessories). Brought it to the manager’s attention and she acted like she couldn’t care less! The people I interacted with there don’t care about their jobs let alone customer service.

Manager is very rude too me. Most of the prices are never what the sign says. Poor customer service when it comes to a store issue. The isles are usually so packed with stuff that you can't get through them.

The entire staff was great I was there to do a HIGI self-serve blood pressure machine install, the entire staff was very helpful, it was a great working experience.

There are hardly ever price tags on the items, and the items that do have price tags are usually in the wrong places. Also some of the staff is very rude and disrespectful torwards even polite customers.
