We ate dinner here after riding the C&O from Cumberland. The seating is outdoors, and we were able to get two picnic tables under the canopy, which was perfect since it started to rain. Our group had the pesto chicken sandwich, pulled pork BBQ, Mac & cheese, salads, and milkshakes, all which were great. The staff was really friendly, helpful, and brought out the food to us. The dinner menu ended at 7 pm on the day we were there. I'd recommend biking or walking through the neighborhood instead of going on Route 9 which doesn't have great shoulders at that spot. This isn't a fancy spot, but it was just perfect for our group, so I'm giving it 5 stars.

Biking C&O and camped 2 miles away at MP 157. Super friendly staff, glad to fill water bottles and chat about recently opened tunnel. My adult son and I both wanted piggy Mac, pulled pork on Mac and cheese. They suggested a large to split and it was more than enough but we ate it anyway. Pulled pork was really good. Very reasonable prices. Ice cream and pastries looked good but we were full and had treats at camp if needed. We sat outside on porch (only outside seating) and talked with some other cyclists. Seemed to be popular with locals too as several people pulled up to pick up carry out.

Super cute local little bakery with yummy stick-to-your-ribs breakfast eats. Staff was super sweet and hard working!!I had the biscuits and gravy and every aspect tasted phenomenal and home made like your granny used to. I had a sausage egg and cheese bagel as well, with a canola that was the standard for how Canoli's should be made.While you wait for your food the place is decorated with local history lore about the town and surrounding areas. Anyone who passes thru Paw Paw should patronize the place!

This wonderful little restaurant was the perfect fueling station before pushing our bikes (with packs) over the Paw Paw Tunnel detour trail. In addition to a super friendly staff and an immaculate kitchen, they even offered use of their outdoor hose to rinse our bikes. Plus the access from the C&O was safe and made safer by cutting through the side streets to the West of Mountain Life.

Happened on this restaurant on our way to a viewing in Paw Paw. The owner and her son are very nice and accommodating. Our party had the eggplant parm, piggy fries and fried ravioli. It was all delicious!! Very clean. We were able to eat outside. They even had a fundraiser going for the local PTO. I’m thinking we need a road trip just to eat there again!Thank you!

Really nice place to eat in PawPaw WV. We stopped for lunch one day while driving the beautiful WV mountains scenic route. I ordered a 1/2 cheesesteak sub with fried onions, lettuce and American cheese. It was superbly made on a fresh sub roll with tender tasty tender sliced steak. My wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It too was delicious with a very tasty mild thick sauce. You could smell and taste the smokiness in the meat. Debbie mentioned that she smokes her own pork and it definitely showed in the great flavor. We also each ordered some macaroni and cheese. It was a generous serving. Enough that we shared one bowl and took the other with us and had it for dinner. It was some of the best mac and cheese that I have ever had. I could taste the blend of the various cheeses used. We also ordered to go a blueberry cream frosted vanilla cupcake and and raspberry cream frosted chocolate cupcake. They were beautifully decorated and tasted just as delicious as they looked. If you are in or near PawPaw WV, stop by Mountain Life Kitchen and say hello to Debbie and treat yourself to a wonderful meal. The food is delicious and the prices very reasonable. Plus the service is fast and friendly.Parking: Parking right in front of the entrance.

This was an amazing find . Even more amazing to find it in PAW PAW West Virginia . Home made Italian sausage, old world Italian recipes, great banter with the owner and chef and the food was delicious portions where just right. Then there is the home made sweet treats in the glass displays . There are no inside tables but some seating outside on the porch.Definitely go give this place a try !!!!!

If you're passing through to visit the Paw Paw Tunnel, you shouldn't deprive yourself of some lunch at the Mountain Life Kitchen. Extremely friendly staff, and the food was fantastic. The Piggy Mac was an excellent combination of pulled pork, bacon, and mac & cheese.

The sauce or gravy was too spicy hot for my taste. The next time we called multiple times to place an order at 18:00 there was no answer. The restaurant was advertised as open until 19:00.

Amazing lunch and baked goods spot in Paw Paw a bit off the C&O. Great for a mid-ride refuel and awesome brownies and other baked goods. Highly recommended!
