First of im thankful for this place i went to another vet wont say name but anyways my cat has stomatitis its a painful disease in the cats mouth this other place didnt not send any pain medicine hime or antibiotics he has to a have full mouth extraction they was gonna do half then 3 months later do other half not only that i mentioned to them what i thought wasa abcess i told 1st vet about it she l ookedat it made faces n said aww so i made appt withVca best choice i made because she looked at it its possibly a tumor in his mouth sent me home with meds n gonna do full mouth extraction not half and there so friendly n very helpful n very professional ty vca for helping my fur baby❤️

I needed a new vet for My older dog and I really like this vet. The vet, assistants, and front desk are very polite and kind. They are very knowledgeable and also compassionate. They took the time to explain things as well as being thorough. This will be My new place to go for any animal and I recommend them very highly. Thank you, VCA Dudley!

I got a few things I want to say I took my cat there and they gave me hope and thinking I can get a back some meds for to save her when it came down to it they couldn't do nothing but they were really fast about taking my credit card. I'm not asking and saying they should but they could send a sympathy card it is very hard when you lose them I could go on and on and put some other stuff but I won't

Giving 5 stars because all of the staff at VCA Dudley are incredible. My husband and I recently adopted an 8m old puppy and she’s incredible. Since we’ve got her, we have taken her to VCA Dudley 4 times. Everytime they are fast, friendly, super kind to our pup and very receptive to our concerns. When we brought her in for her first visit, I had a bunch of random concerns for her (just new puppy anxiety) but the staff and Dr. Kuchyt made me feel heard and addressed every (no matter how niche) concern that I brought up. They’re so willing to work with you to negotiate services and find the best course of action for any problem your pup may have. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get quality care for their fury family member.

They were very kind and attentive. The vet we had was very young and awesome. I’m going to be honest. You’ll have to mortgage your house for these guys. God bless them but they will charge you for every little thing even if you’ve been with them for years. There are no hometown family veterinary hospitals around here but I keep praying for one. God be with you all and your precious pets.

This clinic was awesome. My dog got a fish hook stuck in his side and there is no emergency vet local. I called and they agreed to see him even though he had never been there and it was an hour before they closed. They were awesome with my dog and very patient as he was very scared. Will definitely only use them from now on.

The Vet here is very kind and down to Earth. She explains things, understands that pet owners may have financial limitations, and discusses all options for treatment. She doesn't seem judgmental toward me when I pick the least expensive option. She takes the time to talk and doesn't give me the sense of being rushed. She's just really warm and knowledgeable. The office is very nice and the rest of the staff I've met have been warm and friendly and they take the time to answer my questions and take care of me and my animals. I have never had a negative experience here and I'm very happy with this animal hospital.

Can't really reflect on their veterinary care because we never got any. They wasted 30 minutes of my time trying to get shot records that were not available because my normal vet was closed. If my normal vet were open I wouldn't have needed to go to such lengths to get my dog seen. They were willing to see her... on an "emergency" basis (meaning no appointment) but that would have been a substantial extra charge soooo.... long story short don't take Ohio pets to West Virginia. They want records most people won't have. It doesn't matter if your dog HAS her rabies tag on the collar and it's recent. They want paper.

My German shepherd Zeus needed urgent care without appointment I showed up. The whole staff was very professional and acted very quickly to get my dog help asap. I was very impressed with team work they showed, very grateful, thx so much.

They got me in quick on a day that works with my schedule. Fluff loved them until the shots, but they were gentle. I got answers on her health issues and options to help that weren't super expensive.

I agree with everyone. The people at Dudley Animal Hospital are very kind. There had been times when we really needed to get one of our dogs to the vet they always find a way to squeeze them in. Thing is you can tell they are there for the animals not just the money. I have taken both my dogs here for all needs for at least 7 years being that's how long we have had our oldest dog and I'm so glad that was the vet I took him to and will continue too as well as my Angel and any other family member ( I consider my dogs family not pets) that may come into our lives. Highly recommended.

My cat was well treated here. The veterinarian made follow-up contact to inform me of lab results and whether further treatment was needed. We have used this clinic for our pets' health care for a number of years with confidence.

We had an emergency with our german Shepherd Kasi and tried this clinic. They were able to get us in right away. I have honestly never been more impressed by the quality of care. She was babied by all the staff and treated wonderful.we were sent home with an awesome goodie bag.Even the after care instructions were personalized for our Kasi. All vets are expensive these days but this place goes above and beyond to care for the animals. Will definitely be a returning client.

I took my puppy here when I first got him and was very impressed by the cleanliness of the facility as well as the staff and their friendliness. Three weeks after getting him I left for a week and boarded Rocky there. He received excellent care while I was gone. I also had an emergency situation with Rocky where I took him directly to the office without calling first. They took him right in, and kept him there for an hour to make sure he was ok. They hadn't seen him since September 2016, and I went to check Rocky's weight. They immediately recognized him, which was the most impressive thing for me! I highly recommend VCA Dudley Animal Clinic for quality care of our fur babies!!!!

We took our new pooch to get his first checkup on Friday. Saturday we took him to get his ears cleaned at Crazy Bone and they wouldn't clean his ear because it was so infected. They didn't do a very good checkup because they would have seen that. Now they want another $118 to fix it.

When no other vet in town was willing to help our VERY sick animal due to finances, they happily treated him although at the time we couldn't afford treatment and they even donated medicine he needed. They gave him fluids also and you could tell that they love their job and the animals they treat and truly care about them. I'm pretty sure Humphrey would not have made it much longer if they weren't so kind and opened their doors to us. I cannot thank them enough.. Our pets are all members of our family and we would've been devastated if something happened to any of them. Unlike the other vets in town, this place understands that life happens and our furry family members are very important and deserve proper care and compassion. With us Just having a new baby and money being tight we where turned away by every other vet in the area with the exception of VCA. I'll never take my pets anywhere else now. I trust and appreciate the care that they give each animal. Again, our family cannot thank you enough.. Best animal care in the Parkersburg area by far. (I just wish our bunnies could also go there as well for check ups and treatment)

I give the current staff a negative 10 review. They ignored all of the symptoms I told them my dog was having, saying they were due to old age, after charging me $168 for bloodwork. When he continued to deteriorate, I took him to another vet & he was diagnosed with diabetes. VCA wanted to charge me another $200 for meds without even diagnosing him. They totally suck in my opinion.

$68 for wellness exam plus $21 for clipping of toenails on a 2 lb puppy, $58 for a follow up fecal exam plus two shots... $230. Too much. And please don't insult this review with an apology. You used to be much more affordable. Very disappointed.

This place only cares about your money not your pets. Let my puppy die because I didn't have $1000 up front and in full to treat him. Also gave my roommate ear drops for her dog and caused permanent deafness in dog when they could have prescribed different one with no side affects also didn't even tell her there was a risk. Oh and will charge u $50+ to remove ticks even if u are a regular patron. Find another place that cares for your pets and isn't more interested in how much money they can make off you😬😬😬

Spent literal thousands trying to figure out what was wrong with my rabbit just to hear "we don't know" each time. Switched vets and found out she only has allergies for $48. Do with that what you will.

$73 exam fee, that’s outrageous, especially since I had to request that you examine my dogs paws after your exam was done (since that was the reason we were there)! And $71 for 7 days of Apoquel when I can get a 30 day script filled at Costco for $54. I don’t know how you’re still in business charging these prices. I felt financially taken advantage of by the time I left.

Had my first visit 6 months ago with my cat. It was a scheduled visit.. but I waited more than an HOUR for her to be seen. Unimpressed.....That was stressful as I then had to rush to get to work! Had a six month follow up today (six month) ..same cat same allergy problems. My second impression was just as bad as the first! Doctor comes in, doesn't bother to introduce herself.. I had to deduce rather she was the doctor or not. She obviously enjoyed speaking much more than listening. It's one thing to know your business as a doctor, we get that "you're smart".. but completely another to actually understand your patient and carry on a conversation with pet parents! Three or four people were involved with my cat's visit,.. one clueless to what the other was ever actually doing. My cat was weighed... twice,.. I was asked if she had yet receive a shot... to which I replied quickly YES. While it was explained the things they were doing without asking, I was never once informed regarding the issue of accruing COSTS! Needless to say.. 30 minutes later my bill comes to more than 2 hundred dollars! Seriously.. an antibiotic shot was 80 dollars, and they scraped her skin to give me a "negative" on SCABIES for 32 bucks? And it never once occurred to any of these people to quote me on what the costs for these procedures would be?? After the sticker shock.. I asked what they could possibly do in the way of ANY discounts .. specifically the 60 dollar office visit.. after being an established patient. They could do nothing,.. offering not a single cent off of this bill! My conclusion has been that this is a profit over pets business... And I will never be returning to VCA Dudley Ave. ever again.
