This is my go to place for groceries on the way home. Worth checking here first for what you need. Store brand is good and they have variety along with national brands. No deli but a selection of precut lunch meats and cheeses along with a nice chicken,pork,beef selection. Frozen foods is plentiful as well.

You know I would have given you 5 stars had you cared more for your elderly and/or disabled patrons.I shopped every week for years in Belpre Ohio until they closed . Then I became disabled and can't walk. You however don't accommodate the elderly or disabled. Why?

Kinda reminds me of a west coast chain called Grocery Outlet. Great prices on meat especially. Good prices on everything else they had, just be aware they don't carry everything like a regular supermarket does... But worth going in and seeing what they do have.

Overall big change and wanting me to shop more there.I live in Belpre but driving to southside to a store that's better stocked and has good buys is well worth it.There brand is better than lots of name brands. Great prices...

My family loves shopping here, especially on our budget. I have tried to get a job here the last several months because it's close and convenient only to be told there's no management to complete hiring. I'm a great fit for stocking and a Yes sir, Yes ma'am kind of guy. You will definitely not be disappointed in my work. Please hire me!! I called today and left my number again.

I have to admit, this store really has become a really good place to shop. I'm glad to see the manager is now this Joey dude who has worked there for as long as I can remember. He has really turned this store around. They have updated the inside and moved the isles around and reorganized them. They have free WiFi now. The employees are SOOOO nice. That was the thing that stood out to me the most is that the employees who work there now are so kind. The store also has a lot of different items you won't find at Walmart or Kroger or Piggly Wiggly. Great job Save-A-Lot team.

Love this place. They have a variety of good cheap items to choose from. They also have a lot of pick 5 items for 20.00. Love the frozen stir fry vegetables. We use them for spaghetti and chili. Gives it a wonderful taste

Many of the products that I use I found were cheaper at Save a Lot. The remodeling of the store was nice to see and they repaved the parking lot.

It's a lot better since they've updated there freezers. They could use a few nicer workers and actually work there employees on the days they know they'll be the busiest. But overall the prices are cheap, most the employees are respectful, and easy to navigate.

I love being able to stock up shop/ by the case. Some of the brands you may never have heard before, but if u try them you will be sold. I use oil, coffee creamer, cereal, vegetables, the canned corn is amazing. Greens are good. Always have a fresh special n meat looks hand cut. Stretch your dollar. At least part of your list is way cheaper here. You will encounter low income people here, they know how to feed their families more.

I was shopping for food to donate to the Salvation Army.I got 2 cases of mac and cheese3 cases of soup2 cases of cerealA case of apple juice2 cases of pudding2 cases of SpamAll of this came to only $230.Trina was very happy because it was everything she needed in the kitchen. She mostly helps homeless people.The main thing is, it made me feel really good inside. I'm posting this in hopes that other people will also donate food. You will feel good about yourself, believe me.

Wish the 5/20 still existed, but understand the price of things have to go up. At least give us our money's worth. Especially when I can go to Walmart and get the same thing (meat wise) cheaper.

I like this store.It is great for lunch box savings.You get what you pay for.Soda Pop is at great savings.Boxed and canned foods are eatable with added spices.I avoid meats,by choice.When raised from a farm I can taste additives that most cant.The only complaint I would have is the check out wait.Its not the cashiers fault its managements descion to only have 1 cashier on duty.

Staff is friendly, prices are good, store stays pretty clean, also has my favorite sodas, bubba and mountain holler, what a rediculous name but to me tastes as good as mountain dew or better, same caffeine only like $3.50 a 12 pack! Explains why it gets sold out a lot! All of these sodas taste better than other stores generic sodas.

Signs say mask required yet the cashier at register 4 was NOT only not wearing one but was not behind the plexiglass shield. Then when I expressed polite displeasure she said she didn't have to because her face will break out. A break out is much easier to move past than a deadly virus. Otherwise the store was clean but that exchange was not necessary.

I'd rather give it 2.5 stars. The store looks nice outside but take a walk through and leaves much to be desired. The old Save a Lot in Belpre was 100% better,but unfortunately is no longer there.Honestly the Southside Save A Lot reminds me of putting lipstick on a pig.

Due to covid you have to wear face masks in store but most of the employees weren’t wearing their’s or wearing them improperly. I did not see any sanitizer or any sanitizing being done. Closed restrooms. Follow the guidelines you ask your customers to do.

Wasn't that great. Not a very good stocked store. 5 for $ 20.00 raised to $24.99. That Wasn't right. No wonder we were the only people shopping in the daytime. The worst store ever.

August 26 2021 today the shelves and meat department are full for shoppers. Don't need a wallmart to get groceries.not a lot of name brands but food tastes good to me.

I had not been to this store in several years. I was surprised to see a change in it. It is neat and well stocked. Lots of produce. Their meat looks like it is cut better.

easy in and out and of course cheap prices....i like there PICK 5 basically you can get 5 different ideas that have the pick 5 sticker on it for only $20....everyone that works here are very friendly.....i absolutely love this store
