Great store with good bargains. This is the second time we've been here for Chrostmas shopping, and both times we got some great bargains. Staff is friendly and all the signs are super funny. I also love the giant bobblehead Ollie.

I love going to Ollie’s, they have the best stuff BUT be prepared to wait in line for more than 20 minutes. Even though there is usually 3-5 employees only 1 runs the register no matter how long the line gets. I started to go to Marietta where they are better managed.

As a customer and former employee, I can not say enough good things about this store! I never expected to laugh till tears ran down my face on numerous occasions, or have meaningful and deep conversations with compassionate, caring, thoughtful, and humbly genuine supervisors, but deed that's exactly how my employment here went. Eric, Michael, Tess, Angie, Rhonda, and my amazing co-workers, (Tosha, your amazing!) can't possibly understand the positive impact they had on me, at a rather difficult and pivotal period in my life. Thank y'all!As a customer, I love the imperfections of Ollie's, which also kinda shows where I'm mentally at in my life, finding joy in the imperfections. This store isn't perfect and neither are you. There's times it's messy and hectic, lines can be long, and you never know what they will have in stock, however, generally speaking, that line moves rather quickly. No self check outs here, you'll be checked out by someone who truly cares about your experience. The mess and hecticness come and go, and compared to my first shopping experience, the store has done a complete 180 in its cleanliness and organization. You may not find what you seen in the ad, but I promise, you'll find the most odd trinket or that $99 cast iron dutch oven that you've been looking at, for $39, instead. If your looking for a upscale proper and perfect store, go on up the road, but if your wanting to save money, this slightly grungy, unique, yet always humble store, is right for you.

This is only our 3rd rime going here. They have just about everything you would want. From books to tools to lawn care to candles to feminine hygiene products to rugs, to towels, to sheets, to cleaning supplies to school supplies, to spices, to shampoo to conditioner to soap, to hair dye, to wrapping paper, to candy, to make up, to food, to flower pots, to lamps to pet supplies etc..... The prices are fantastic and the staff was a pleasure to be around. We will definately be going back. If you haven't been there, you really should go.

I love going in this store and walking up and down the aisles to see all the random stuff they have. Somethings you will find at a decent price or cheaper than other places, and some items will be more than what you would expect it to be for a bargain store. I will say I never leave there empty handed. There is always something I "need".

This store is amazing they have all sorts of products from clothing to carpet, toys,auto accessories, food, fishing acc ,and a whole lot more and did I mention Books galore? The only downside is it can take forever to check out with only one cashier most of the time..

Staff is extremely friendly. It’s not well organized by any means and not the cleanest. But that’s because this is a discount outlet and product turn over is high. Today I grabbed homeschool supplies at such a crazy low price I grabbed the next 4 years of workbooks and supplies and didn’t top 150.00 for my entire trip. I also stocked up on High end shampoos and conditioner that will last me for about 6 months. Grabbed my self a new ring light tripod, I seriously at full price would have been closer to a 400.00 shopping trip.

A great deal on all kinds of stuff! Good buys for food like snacks and treats. Great finds for household needs like kitchen ware necessities. Always worth a visit and see if there is something you can pick up for a great deal.There are usually a few items that are regularly in the store at a pretty great price compared to the large box stores as well.

Upgraded review to a 5 since my most recent visit was much better. The store itself appearred tidy throughout, isles were clear & free from trip hazards, & prices were much more competitive! Found a few AMAZING DEALS!!! Excited for new location to open nearby in Marietta, OH! Updated- still 5 stars!

This store is seriously my home away from home.... From spray paint, down to an entire huge isle of "As seen on TV" stuff... They have just about everything... Except for 8x10 picture frames, they don't have those.

My husband went in store to buy couple items .. for car spent #5.00 and paid for but cashier didn't give him a receipt and on leaving store on 100Gihon Rd . Parkersburg West Virginia. He was stoped by Managers name Robbie was not given last name and was asked if my husband pay for his purchase in turn my husband said yes then he ask for a receipt witch cashier didn't give him so they both went back to cashier who told manager Robbie he paid for his purchase ... My husband was Publicly inbarrissed in front of the people who where behind him and leaving the store .. We do not appreciate how my husband was treated ... And accused in front the public...

Luv their deals deals deals😁 conveniently located around other stores should you wanna do any other shopping for groceries or whatnot. Staff very helpful if can't find what you're looking for! If sumn isn't priced ( I still say it should be free 🤣🤣) they're really reasonable when pricing it. Welp just takes myself into goin back there to shop again😊. Hurry if ya wanna get the deals😉!

Be sure to take a flashlight with you. Was always a fun stop. Never knew what kind of bargain you might find. Still a good place for not so popular books. Store is so poorly lit now that you can't safely see in the center of store. Not really any bargains there in the dark anymore anyways.

Update: they've cleaned and straightened, made it brighter, very nice, must have got better management.‐‐--‐------------------------Update: obvious signs of shoplifting everywhere. Been like this since they opened. How can they stay in business?‐‐--‐------------------------This store has been messier than a flea market most of the year, but I went in yesterday and it was straightened up nicely. You can find some good deals here too.

If you are someone who loves books I strongly recommend Ollie's. They have one of the best selections of books at fantabulous prices. If you just need some simple bedding this is your place. Sometimes you can find some really just outstanding amazing buys like with things for your yard, garage etc it's kind of like an unorganized Big lots. You can find some real hidden gems in here like we found a Lego book that even online was selling for 20 to $30 and I got it for $3.00. complete with a minfig. I have found just some really nice things I avoid the food like the plague because I'm not a "brand I've never heard of"person.I think they could focus on being neater and cleaner I mean the shelves are a disaster especially down the HBA aisle. Bathrooms were clean. But I will say this when I was just there there was two creepy guys that were apparently friends of one of the employees and were walking around with her as she did her job and they were so disgustingly obnoxious I just wanted to get home and take a shower. Yes they were that gross spitting in their bottles etc and the touching everything in the comments were just disgusting. She thought it was funny and cute. But other than that on a scale of 1 to 10 I give the Parkersburg Ollie's a 6.
