Gave it to me straight, no haggling or sales pitches. Didn’t try to take advantage or sell me anything unnecessary. I appreciate that and will be returning!I love how easy it was to drop off my car the night before using the drop box. The paper bag they give you for your keys had a detailed questionnaire regarding what work needed done. Within an hour of them opening the next day, I got a call with the diagnosis. Super friendly and they made everything very easy.

Went in to have some work done. They got my vehicle into the shop quickly. The people were friendly, honest and very professional. They even took me to the shop to show me things that needed completed. I definitely will use this shop again and recommend it to anyone needing their vehicle repaired.

I spoke to Davis automotive on Thursday 9-7-23. I needed a wheel bearing and hub replaced. I already had the part. I was told that they wouldn’t be able to get to it until Monday 9-11-23. I asked if I needed an appointment and he said no just bring it in early on Monday and even said I could just wait on it. So today 9-11 I took it to the garage at 8:30am. I went in and explained again what I needed and told him I was suppose to bring it in today. He filled out the paper and took my keys and I asked if he knew how long it would take and he said he wasn’t exactly sure but he assured me it would be done by the end of the day. I live about 40 minutes from oak hill and no one was with me to take me home because they told me I could just wait. I walked around oak hill and walked to my nieces house. She had to go to work at 3 so we went back to Davis auto. and she went in and asked if it was done and they told her that they hadn’t even started on it. 7 hours later they still hadn’t touched it. He also told her that it was the next to go in the garage so she went on to work and I stayed there and waited. I waited until almost 5 and went in and asked what was going on and we’re they gonna fix it and he said no it wouldn’t be fixed today. I had no way home and had been in oak hill for over 8 hours. When I told him that they let me stay in oak hill all day and I was assured it would be fixed by closing time he got very rude about it and said they had 10 cars left from Friday that had to be fixed first and that they said they would call when it was done. That is not what I was told. They never mentioned or ever said it was possible they would have to keep it overnight. I never asked them to put me ahead of anybody but I told him that I did expect them to do what they told me they were going to do. There’s no reason that they couldn’t call and tell me they weren’t gonna be able to get to it. They would have closed without even letting me know anything. Plus I had been setting there waiting for the last 2 hours and they never said a thing to me until I asked. I wasted a whole day for nothing and my car still needs fixed so I’ll have to spend another whole day waiting to get my car fixed but not at Davis automotive. I will never go back there and I will tell everyone I know how bad the service is and how rude the people are. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. They don’t deserve a star.

On labor day my headlight burnt out. on Tuesday we were going home 1000 mi. After vacation. I stopped in at 8am my car was fixed by 9am and we were on our way. Low price and really nice. They helped us even though they were fully booked for the day.

I have had my vehicles in this garage multiple times. (I'm a full-time DoorDasher so quite frequently.) And I gotta say I've never left unsatisfied with the work done. Prices are fair. Staff is kind, down to earth people. Anytime I've needed something fixed that I wasn't able to myself, they've got it done. Actually just got my Cobalt inspected there today. Highly recommended.

Went in for an inspection.was told I needed an outer tie rod end. Told them I wanted the old part. They also said I would need a front end alignment. The part they took off was perfectly fine and now my steering wheel is turned to the left and my truck pulls to the left so I basically paid them to screw up my truck. Never again.

Took my vehicle in for a brake job and a rotation appointment, and I wasn't impressed. The man that welcomed me couldn't find my appointment and then couldn't even recognize the vehicle's brand (Ram). The work took the entire day, and it didn't take long after I picked it up to realize something wasn't assembled right! I've returned twice already, and there's still strange popping coming from the wheels. Also, when the tires were rotated, the tire pressure wasn't adjusted to factory specs (setting off the TPMS warning). I don't think anyone in this garage test drove the vehicle after the work was done to make sure it was completed correctly.

I thought their pricing was reasonable, they were really quick especially considering I was a walk-in, actually ended up going there twice in one day, the first time for a new muffler and the second time to get tires that I’d bought from another place put on because at the other place I would’ve had to wait hours. They didn’t blink an eye, or take offense, even though they sale tires, lol, took me right back in and took care of me. Will definitely be using them in the future. I also had a great time listening to the playful banter of the guys working there, they’re quite comical! Super comfortable couch in the waiting area!

Folks were nice enough and came on recommendation. We got quoted for parts and labor and they fit us in pretty quickly. They told us 7hrs for the job but it ended up being closer to 12, we had 1 vehicle to get around town and do things but they seemed to not care. When we finally got the call that the car was ready my husband biked to pick it up. When he got the bill it was over $100 over what we had been quoted, and they did work that we didn’t ask for. When he got into the car it was TRASHED. The job required the whole front dash to be removed. They had torn everything out of the glove box and just threw it onto the floor, and there were dirty towels from oily hands and plastic pieces all over the floor (which probably means they just ripped the dash off without a care). When my husband asked them to come look at it they didn’t even seem to care. After spending half an hour cleaning up their mess we realilized that not only did they rip the dash off but they didn’t even take the time to properly put it back. The underside of the passenger dash was haphazardly thrown back in place without being secured in with screws (which were probably lost in the removal of the dash). Over all very fruatrated and not happy with the service we received.

We were traveling from Pittsburgh to Raleigh and had trouble with our brakes. They took us in right away for a check and were able to get us on the road within an hour. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Used to take my truck there .last time I was there ask about my truck the man got extremely angry caused me and threatened me .don't take your vehicle there unless you want to be overcharged and abused poor service rude people not in it to please u just to get your money

The only place we will take our vehicles. They won't over charge you or say you need repairs that you don't need. I trust them with all of vehicles. And they are friendly with all of their customers
