Great group to work with. We were impressed with the staff and the facility. Rachel was super nice and made it possible for us to adopt the sweetest little girl, Shep.Rachel, thank you once again for our adoption of Dominic. He's been a great addition to our family. He and Shep have bonded and make our days fun. Ozlo has come to live with us as the newest member of the pack. Welcome little man.

When my dog got hurt... This organization was the first to respond to my requests to find help. I was broke and my dog was suffering.. And they got back to ME.. Right away. They got me in touch with organizations that could help me in my desperation. My sweet little girl is peacefully resting on her pillow now thanks to the help from them, the Olive branch, and the Ritchie county humane society. They all DESERVE some help right back. Donate, ADOPT, or even just volunteer your time. These animals LOVE the attention.. They need to be socializing. They need clean beds clean water n fresh food every day. Often times places like these are run COMPLETELY with just 1 or 2 people working day in day out. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help ANY of these 3 agencies!Thank you.

Kids were there two months ago looking at dogs. The lady at the shelter shared a phone number with a breeder who had puppies. Of course the kids wanted one of the puppies collie Australian Shepherd. Our puppy is still very aggressive. And I highly recommend the collie Australian Shepherd male and female dogs get spayed & neutered! Probably all of those puppies are going to be put down because of aggressive behavior. And when I called to speak to the lady at the animal shelter she hung up with me at the end of the phone call!! That’s why I rated this a negative one star! Ver unprofessional!! Thank you!!

My dog ran away and ended up here and they adopted him out to someone else even after I found him and filled out my application for the adoption. I had all the proof and references to show it was my dog. My wife and kids are heart broken!!! Shame on all of you!!! Anyone that reads this please save your time and money and use it at another shelter because this is how Wetzel Co. Dog Shelter treated a veteran looking for his lost dog.
