Love this family owned ice cream shop! They have a wonderful menu selection though on this trip we just got basic cones. Their homemade ice cream is easily one of the best I have ever had, it’s so creamy and had such a great flavor. I personally got the cherry nut which was amazing and had large pieces of fresh cherry. The shop it’s very nice and clean. Love that it is family owned and operated. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with the menu. We will be stopping here any time we are in the area, and I highly recommend it to anyone else.

The Ice Cream is made from the dairy product of the Stalder Family Homestead Dairy Farm across the river in Ohio! The Ice cream must be good because 61 people/customers came & went in the span of 35 minutes, while we enjoyed ice cream nirvana. (yes I counted) The ON SITE made ice cream is absolutely stupendous! It is made with ALL FRESH ingredients prepared by hand on site! We also had the Chili Dogs. The dog sauce was unique & perfect, yet they will not sell it for take home use. All in all a wonderful place for an off state route 2 excursion. Visit New Martinsville's historic Main Street & indulge in a sweet treat.We will never pass thru again without stopping for this heavenly frozen treat. DO NOT MISS this the Stalder Family Creamery. Trust us you will unknowingly regret not giving yourself this wonderful treat. Grand opening was spring 2019.

We love the Stalder Family Creamery! My wife and I like to stop every time we are back in New Martinsville visiting family. We typically just stop for a couple scoops of ice cream but this time, we had a cup of coffee and enjoyed one of their panini's. I work remotely, and needed to get some work done, so they let me sit down and stay for awhile to enjoy the shop, watch Main Street traffic, and get some work done. Our visit was over the Easter holiday, so I ordered a snicker's ice cream cake as my gift to the family. Let's just say that the whole family loved it, as it was quickly devoured. Their ice cream flavors are a combination of unique and ice cream shop staples. Thanks for investing in the New Martinsville downtown, Stalder family! You definitely make it a brighter place.

Love this place! Me and my family stop here every chance we get. Tons of ever changing flavors! The ice cream is some of the best I've ever had. Reminds me a lot of a place at Holden Beach NC called Beaches N Cream. Definitely on the same level for sure! The staff here is super friendly too. Come out and support this local business! Who doesn't like ice cream anyway 😀

The icecream was really good and there was a good variety. The atmosphere was very pleasant and I very much enjoyed the decor. The only two reasons I give them a two out of five star rating is because unfortunately, the women working were very unwelcoming and "stuck up" acting. Atleast the younger two were. Enough so to make me unsure about returning there. Also the prices I think were pretty steep. I got three cones, one had two scoops, one had one, and the last was a "cow lick cone" and it was ten dollars. I could get the same thing from Marvs in Sardis for half the price.

My husband and I went in and got 2 hotdogs with sauce and a peanut butter milkshake and a peach milkshake. It was all FANTASTIC! This place is a great addition to our community I hope they stick around for a long time.

Amazing homemade, handdipped ice cream. Flavors change regularly but they have basic staples there all the time. Also sugar free and non-dairy options. The prices are super as well.
