What a great group of people. They have a lovely facility with lots of space for cats only. I love that Weirton has such a great space for cats to be adopted. We got two wonderful kittens from someone that fosters for them. They are the best things in the world. I am so grateful that this organization exists. Thank you.

They truly take pride in caring for their cats. Very clean and it's like a very peaceful sanctuary for kittens and cats. You can go every Sunday and give the animals love and affection and view them to adopt of foster as well.

TOTALLY AMAZING PEOPLE!!!! Tom & Tami have helped me in several different occasions & I can't thank them enough!! & I LOVE what they do for the kitties that don't have a family or a loving home just yet! Those babies got it all up there at the foundation warmth, beds, toys, fresh food & water but most importantly LOVE from the people that run the place & all the volunteers... excellent organization!!❤❤❤❤

The Human Foundation in Hancock County is the most caring and loving place I've seen in years. They go above and beyond for the animals there and even people who need help providing food and vet services for their pets. They only service Hancock County for certain services though, so if you have any questions, just give them a call.

Very caring foundation. They are very helpful by giving away both dog and cat food for free to those in need. They help find homes for pets in need. They are selective in the families that adopt pets. They make sure the animal finds the best home possible. They also are helpful if you have a lost pet. I definitely recommend this foundation. They are amazing with what they do.

Excellent rescue and place to volunteer at. They have a free roam setup (which means minimal cage use), are 100% volunteer ran, and work exclusively with cats. If you love cats, you need to visit the HCHF!

I adopted Raiden, the volunteers were very nice and helpful.Sylvia was great at answering all my questions and helping me with the adoption process. If I adopted an other cat I would go there first!

We applied to adopt a cat and we're told that someone would be in touch in a couple days no one got in touch with us so we had to call them 3 times and wait 3 weeks before we finally got a straight forward response as to whether we could adopt him or not. They said they REQUIRE all pets in the household to be spayed or neutered to adopt.Now I can understand requiring to have other cats in the house to be spayed or neutered, but why should I have to put my 70 lb. 5 year old dog who is scared of his own shadow through unnecessary surgery just for a cat to live in the same house as him? They can't procreate first off, and they are both males. So needless to say we were turned down because we wouldn't fix our dog. So now my kids are heart broken because they won't let us adopt because we don't want to put our other pet through unnecessary pain. Complete bull if you ask me.

In an attempt to adopt, be careful what you put on the application. I got blacklisted over a misunderstanding. They are judgmental and will unfairly judge you if you make one little slip up. I tried to explain my situation, they didn't care at all. Went solely based on what was put on the application and denied me on the spot, sight unseen. Unfair practices. Make sure you get their policies up front before you apply.
