Mad dogs! These might be the best donuts that I’ve ever had. It’s like an eclair that is filled with cream frosting. Bought 7 of them for around $8. Bought the vanilla and chocolate.If you are visiting and get a free hotel breakfast, it’s worth bypassing and paying for these donuts.

Stopped here one day and grabbed some chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate cake donut.The cake donut was typical but the chocolate chip cookie was phenomenal 👌the prices are not listed which is unfortunate and the person at the counter was unsure of all the places and had to ring them up to find out.

Absolutely worth the stop. I've never been here before and I thought it was wonderful. The icing is light (but didn't seem like a whipped icing) and it's not too sweet. I bought a yellow cake slice covered in icing and the cake was so good, great flavor and what I would describe as a crispy buttery edge. It was unexpectedly good! I then tried 4 donuts. All were great I just wasn't expecting the maple long John to be filled with a custard.Also, dirt cheap! 5 items for like 6.80$ like dang!Definitely give it a try!

Quality Bake Shoppe has become my go to place for Saturday morning sweets for work. I love their donut holes, but you gotta be there early to get them before they're gone!

I have loved this store since I was a kid especially their black and white cookies. But anything there is usually great quality. As far as the other person saying that they had a bad experience with the staff, I have never had that issue. I have always been treated with respect and gotten exactly what I wanted and never was rushed and was always happy with what I was given. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone especially for the fact that they make all their stuff fresh that morning they do not sell anything that is not fresh and if you want a large order the best thing to do is to call ahead the day before because otherwise you may not get what you want. Good luck and hope you have some wonderful donutsUpdate they are now closed I do not live in Moundsville so I had no clue that they had closed but they've been closed for a while I guess so hopefully you realize that before you went lol have a great one!

They stood behind the counter selling us their baked items smiling at us meanwhile the back room was philthy and they think their going to clean up the mess and reopen lol makes you wonder they will never see me again

This bakery had some of the best pastries on the planet. I grew up getting Mad Dogs for about every birthday. They are amazing. While everything they make is delicious, if you have never had a Mad Dog, you have no idea what such a great, small, friendly bakery is capable of!

The staff here is so rude you will absolutely feel uncomfortable. With that being said they have a few really good baked items. If you can put up with ordering in an uncomfortable rushed atmosphere you'll enjoy what they have if they have any fresh stock. It's the only bakery around so it's not like you have a choice to go anywhere else besides Walmart and Kroger.Frosted brownies are always sure to be the win there though.

I used to go here all the time when I was growing up, and when I'm back in town I always try to pick some goods up. Today I went in and got 3 sugar coated brownies and 3 Boston cream. The Boston cream were good, but the brownies were so stale.. or at least they tasted that way. Those brownies were always my favorite and they just tasted nothing like i remember.. I really hope this was just a one time thing.. next time I'm in Moundsville I'll have to get them again to see if it was a fluke or not..

I had the chance to pass through Moundsville and remembered the Mad Dogs my grandmother used to bring to our house when I was a kid in the 60's. I looked up the bakery and was excited to see that Quality Bake Shoppe is still there and still making Mad Dogs! They were just as good as they were 50 years ago!!!

Got there late on saterday morning and ordered a dozen of mixed . Was alot of empty treys but still got a good mix. The sweets were still very good and im a pretty hard critic. Cant wait to go there this next saterday and catch them with full trey's . The kids and i lived them and the guy working was super nice. Great job quality bake shoppe

Normally I really enjoy the doughnuts from here but when we walked in this morning to make our selection and noticed a roach crawling around in the case it became apparent that it's not a very well cleaned place anymore. If you dont mind roaches then by all means eat there.

I would have to say they have kept the good quality of bakery goods since they bought it from the Neal Family. I enjoy shopping our local bakery. Products are very good and prices are really reasonable! CLEAN AND FRIENDLY SERVICE AND THIS IS ALWAYS IMPORTANT TO ME!

Awesome bakery. Has a very hometown american feel to it. The baked goods are always fresh every time I've stopped. The quality was pretty high also. Luckily you can find their baked goods at various stores in the area as well.

Mad dogs are a timeless classic. I drove an extra hour out of my way to swing through Moundsville for a few dozen. Great staff, phenomenal sweets.

Best Doughnuts, pastries, and cakes in the whole area. Gotta be a very very Early Bird, like before 8am if you expect to get any sugar twist ones. Lol. Wonderful crew!

Everything and I mean everything is old fashioned scratch made. Everything is fairly priced and the cake is amazing. Reminded me of my grandma's cakes and pies. So good very family friendly.
