Generally (ha ha ) speaking, it's not a bad small store. Good for finding everyday things and some seasonal items. I have back problems and it's nice for when I don't won't to walk around a big grocery store. The only problem that I have is all the huge carts sitting everywhere for restocking items.

Great store, a lot in stock, friendly customer service and staff. Was in and out in just a few minutes so overall I'm satisfied! Big plus in there Cotton Candy inventory, I'm addicted 😍 and usually only find 2 or 3 containers but managed to stock up with 15 containers during this trip and I didn't even come close to "wiping out" the store! Kudos!

you know what I shop there everyday I spend a lot of money at that store and it has gotten better but I don't like the fact that they do not let you know that they're going to be closed for any reason I understand things happen but you know what.. this day and age anybody can get on a website and put the reason why their store is not open because a lot of people waste their gas and their time to go to their store only to be turned away and for someone like me who walks, it's a real burden and then when you call no one answers I always get an answering machine... And is this very moment I got on the website and they say their store is open but it is not

I know it's very hard for me to get through the isles at this store,But the employees attitude in helping me makes up for this. No their not always this way,they do get busy,yet most if the time they take time out to help me. So when we as customers get crabby with them,let us remember they are doing the best they can with what and whom they got to work with!! And if you are looking for a job,put your application in their always looking for good ,dependable employees! Thank you DG Employees..

Now that they have a new manager things have been very pleasant. Over the past year or so the employees had a less than pleasant attitude. Talking about customers who were leaving the store while customers were in line. Only to make you wonder what was being said about you as well. The Dollar General is a 1/2 mile from our home so we are there at least 4 times a week. It's convenient to pickup things there versus running to Walmart for the little things.

The workers that I have dealt with have been very helpful and polite. The store can be cluttered at times but otherwise a decent experience. The prices of some merchandise could be a little better but for the most part an ok deal.

Honestly the worst, if it wasn't one of the only stores in walking distance I'd never go here again. The cashier was rude, all other staff was outside smoking, me and another customer were waiting in line for a few minutes, and then cashier, who wasn't wearing a name tag opens the other line, then says that me and other customer were stupid for standing in 'wrong' line after the other customer left.

A cashier took a smoke break while there were no registers open and there was at least five people waiting. It is also worth mentioning the phone was ringing the whole time. This has happened multiple times but only with a single worker every time which I will not spill the name of

The Dollar General stores are a decent place to pick up a few things if you don't feel like doing the Walmart trip. I have one close to my house and its been very convenient, not perfect yet not horrible, staff is usually nice.

Small convenient store. Always have some good deals. Unfortunately, they are lacking adequate staffing which often means long lines and lots of product carts sitting around and needing to be placed on shelves.

Shannon refused to go look in the back for an item I was going to purchase, given this is the only place I can buy it. She had an attitude, was rude bc I interrupted her smoke break. This is the dirtiest dollar general I've ever been in. Most unorganized place ever. So cluttered you cant look for anything in there. Whoever owns this store needs to get it together! Fire shannon she sucks

Good store But some prices are higher than Walmart to many carts in the isles you can't shop if you have a cart.. No Room To get Around.. Not all prices are marked..

Once again cant get what I need isles blocked with freight. Employees waste do much time socializing. Constantly in phone. Dont acknowledge you while standing there. This store is the worsest manager just as lazy and more worried about socializing. I have talked to district manage said give her time. Well guess what been a month still same. Sad I would rather go somewhere else.

Can't ever get through an aisle, without a cart, because never put things away. So why have carts? Also there can be 10 people in line and 3 workers and won't open another register, also I've watched same scenario and 2 of the 3 workers go outside to smoke. It's not like anybody had anything to do or want to be quick.

Not the cheapest place for anything, really. Family Dollar is worth checking out of you're on a strict budget. Outdoor placemats were $3 EACH here! Sooooooooo four (outdoor) placemats for $12!!? #highwayrobberyI think 4/$1 is what it should be. That price is definitely more on their level since half the merchandise in the store is scattered all over their gray, concrete floor. Friendly staff, but the place is always a disaster. It's not bargain shopping, and it's not convenient. I truly believe it's the worst of both worlds.

They expect the employee to work sick while throwing up. Or double while the main store manager makes sure she gets her days off all the time. Most the employee there don't clean only one. But she never even gets a thank you. But gets treated rudely all the time.

For one the shelves aren't stocked nor is the coolers for second the employees could be more friendly. I went there wensday nothing in coolers or on shelves. And can't get frozen chocolate pies at all whats up with that. Terrible. Need help lost of it.

Saturday I went into the dollar store on 1st Street in Moundsville on the front door Mandatory you must Wear a Mask before entering only myself add one other woman had a mask on other people shopping did not not one of the employees in there had a Mask on! Employees out on the floor running around! No Masks, as I was leaving others were walking in With out Masks.

very dirty and cluttered. No one does there job unless it’s one person. The manger is stuck up and doesn’t seem to care for her job. seen her throwing merchandise down on the floor, for all the times I’ve went.. I think I’m ending it and I will not show up again.

The dollar general store in moundsville.the last time I was there it was horrible and the manager did nothing but sit on her phone. The store didnt have anything on the self or the pegs. Couldn't find anything at all.i hope it is better now with a new manager

The one on 1st. In Moundsville has to be the filthiest one around.When you go in there are stock carts blocking aisle boxes stacked upon the floors .The workers are outside smoking.There is a one foot drop off into a alley on the west side of parking lot the bump stops for for the parking stops are not there. They are leaning against the building been that away for over 2 weeks.

May not be the best store I go to but it is where I usually go for all around product sure it's messy but soon as you 4 or 5 times it's easy to get around and the staff is really nice

Absolutely HORRIBLE! I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW THIS STORE IS RAN, LET ALONE THE AMOUNT OF ROLLTAINERS AND UBOATS ON THE FLOOR!! IT IS WAY TO COMPACTED FOR FREIGHT TO NOT BE TOUCHED AND SIT IN BOXES AND TOTES ON THE FLOOR! I'M APPALLED!
