Fantastic every time. My husband and I have been coming here since they have opened and we’ve had almost everything on the menu. It’s all delicious and l guess they started doing specials which I’m having as I write this and it’s outstanding (Frisco Burger). The place is also an actual butcher shop. Their pork chops are thick cut but what I really want to rave about is that they did a special order prime rib for us for our family Christmas dinner and the quality was out of this world delicious. I definitely recommend this place.

We recently went to the Village for a bite to eat. I got the steak sandwich and my wife got the Turkey. Both were excellent! The side of pasta salad was decent but the sandwich was well worth it. The drink options were a bit limited. But acceptable.As their official name might imply they also sell cuts of meat. Around the shop are also other items like loaves of bread of varying varieties, some produce, eggs, sauces, water, and soda.Tldr; great sandwiches. I recommend it!

I haven't tried any of the sandwiches, but I buy bacon and steak when I can stop in. The prices may be a touch higher than store bought meat, but the quality is incredible and well worth the cost. I'm incredibly thankful there is a great butcher shop in the area so I can finally buy meat with flavor. Every employee I've talked to has been helpful as well. If you want quality meat, you have to try them out.

This place never ceases to amaze. The burger special was out-of-this-world good!Village Butcher blend burger with yellow cheddar cheese, arugula, caramelized onions, and jalapeños and topped with black peppercorn bacon jam served on a brioche bun.

Omg I have such amazing things to say! This place is awesome. Back around the holidays we custom ordered short ribs for our holiday dinner and the meat quality was amazing!! We came back again for lunch and not disappointed! I had the Turkey sandwich and my boyfriend had the wagu burger- AMAZING!!Worth every penny. The food quality is great. You cannot compare this to a subway or jersey mikes. It is quality food and worth it!! Definitely coming back!

Anthony and Heather provided a wonderful time at the village butcher and meat restaurant for a West Virginia University graduation celebration. The food was outstanding along with the service and attention to detail. It is a wonderful place to celebrate with family and friends we highly recommend.

A really great proper butcher! Well cut to order and will also special order for your recipes! Great service! Haven't tried the sandwiches but everyone else seems to love it. Homemade biscotti are very nice

Not a huge selection, but the quality is impeccable. Tasty sandwich, good sides, and some really good meats. Duck bacon was good, mortadella was good, pepperoni was the best I’ve ever had. It isn’t cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for. I will 100% be back for lunch again.

Got the BLT w/ cheese. Freshly made and the bread was great. Perfect mix of ingredients. It was excellent. Took home some NY strips to grill that evening and they were delicious, as well. Great place to grab lunch and then take home some cuts of meat for grilling. Awesome new lunch spot for Morgantown residents.

I've ordered the burger several times and it's delicious every time! Definitely the best in Morgantown. The potato salad is fantastic too. I'm usually underwhelmed with potato salad, but this place has the magic touch!

Amazing flavor! I had the turkey sandwich with potato salad and it was fantastic. The bacon on the sandwich was top notch, thick cut and cooked to perfection. Definitely check it out!

We came in and got some New York Strips, 6 in total. I discovered at home that 3 of them were likely bad (very offensive scent) but the others were fine. We brought them back and were able to replace the 3 bad ones with 2 new NY Strips and 2 Top Sirloins. So not only did they replace our bad ones, they gave us more than we came in with. It was a great experience and thank you to the worker and manager that helped us out.

Small issue with order was promptly corrected. Great experience, quality meat, people that went above the bar of what you’d expect. A little pricey but if you go here I feel like it should be your expectation to pay premium prices for premium meat.

Places like the Village Butcher are what makes Morgantown a great place to live. I try to find any excuse or try to take anyone I can to go there. Waygu burger, steak sandwich, all are awesome, I’d have to say my favorite was the pulled pork!

We Touched Down in Morgantown for the OkSt contest without a real game plan. As big athletic supporters of Home Team businesses we arranged for our sandwiches to be handed off and some sides thrown over the counter and we found a true hall of fame place in the Village Butcher. For locals who need some quality pieces of meat or ground blend the selection and quality looked like a real national champion

Good, but sadly you can only eat sandwiches at their shop. They should cook some of the steaks they have.
